Hi, guys. Here’s a quick one. I just want to share another method that has helped to drive teeming hordes of traffic to my Fiverr gigs. Using just one technique like the use of free blogs as mentioned in one of my posts will limit you to a certain extent. Of course, it is very effective, but no matter how successful or how constant you seem to get orders, you still need to advertise your services out there for more people to see. Okay, tell me; as popular as Coca-Cola and Pepsi are, won’t you normally expect them to stop advertisements and marketing campaigns? For where? These big brands keep signing up Super and Mega Stars in the Movies, Music and Sports niches (abi?) as Brand Ambassadors and they keep spending money on paid advertising, T.V. commercials, billboards, etc. This method will not cost you a dime, but just a little bit of your time.

Another way to send real human traffic to your Fiverr gigs that has worked for me (and is still working for me, by the way) is to use free classified ads sites. Yes, these classified ads sites receive tons of traffic every single day, and you will be leaving a lot of dough on the table if you do not take advantage of these teeming hordes of FREE traffic.
Yes, the traffic may not be all that targeted, but you may never know when someone who may need your services later on in the future will come across your gig and save your gig URL. That visitor may eventually visit your gig, and if he/she likes what they see, you get an order.

Now, most of these free classified ads websites have their rules and regulations. So you would do well not to go against their TOS, or your advert gets deleted and you get banned. Some of them will not like you displaying naked Fiverr gig links; that is why you must endeavor to create a blog with excellent samples of jobs you have done before. At the end of your blog post [whether you are in the writing niche, or graphics niche, or even video creation, owning a blog will help you in selling your gig], append your gig link to your post. A prospective client or buyer may then click on your gig link and voila! An order/contact comes through.

So read the TOS on each of the sites in order to get up to speed about their rules and regulations. Some of these sites require that you sign up with them, while others do not. Most of them will also require that you choose a certain location where you want your advert to be seen. For example, one of the sites I used asked me the specific city and state I’d like my ad to be seen. Well, unless you reside in the U.S. of A, and you are very conversant with the population in your area, then you won’t have a problem.

But me, wey be original naija boy wey neva comot for this wonderful country, how I wan take know the population for any American city? Sharply, Google to the rescue! You may choose to type the name of the city in the search engine, or just Google “population of New York City” or any other city of your interest. The goal is to get your ad in front of as many eyeballs as you can get, and the more people see your ad, the more chances you have of getting orders. Some of these sites even have high page ranks, and that’s quality backlink back to your gig(s).

WARNING! You need to be consistent and have lots of patience. But it works. Guaranteed. There are over 200 classified ads websites in my possession, and if you want it, just holler right there in the “Comments” section. You can also Google “classified ads websites”, and you will get a full list of ‘em.

The most important page on any live website is the “About Us” page. If you Google “about us”, you will find tons of information on the relevance of that page on any website.

But what exactly is the “About Us” page?

It is the most important page on a website, that is, after the homepage. This page introduces you and your business to your web visitor; this building of a rapport between you and your visitor is in order to hopefully turn him or her to a customer. In other words, “About Us” pages speed-dates a potential customer, who may or may not be looking for your type of business.

It is very crucial for “About Us” pages to convey just the right kind of information about what you do, whether you deal in goods or in services.

There was this short survey undertaken by a group of analysts about an accounting software company. Even after going through 20% of the web pages, the users were still unable to decode what the business was all about. If a user cannot quickly figure out what your business is all about, chances are they won’t stick around long enough to find out.

Now here are some of the questions that web visitors quickly check out and ask when they visit your “About Us” page
Who are we?
Why should you choose us over the other “guys” i.e. what’s in it for me?
What do we do?
When did we start?
How do we do it?

Sometimes, it adds more personality when an “About Us” page has photographs of you and your members of staff. Emphasis should be laid on either educational background and/or years of experience.

You also need to be able to convince your potential customer of the uniqueness of your service or product. You must be able to state in no uncertain terms what EXACTLY they stand to gain if they take the risk of going into business with you. In other words, make them understand what they stand to GAIN.

A brief description of your business is also essential; some pages may choose to include their mission statements. This is where you will be able to connect you and your team (i.e. if you have a team in your business. This part is usually negligible if you run a one-man business).

As at the time of writing this post, Amitbt has 141 orders, with over 11,600 reviews while Natashanixon has 32 orders in queue with over 14,600. Who do you think is winning here? So if you do not have a video on your gig and you can’t purchase one since you are yet to make a sale, then create a blog for your gigs. At least, you can do that for free…

…and your blog doesn’t have to be something complex or fancy.

Just go to http://blogger.com, or http://weebly.com, or http://about.me or even wordpress if you like, and create a simple site. Upload your fiverr profile picture and profile text to the site. Make sure you include the link to your writing gig (if you are in other niches besides writing, you can also use the idea here for your own gig).

Now get some PLR articles from the net. There are lots of PLR articles on the internet that you can just grab and REWRITE ‘EM. Just Google “free PLR articles”. If you find that too difficult, then go to http://ezinearticles.com or http://articlesbase.com and grab some articles there, and then proceed to rewrite them. I personally used PLR articles from different niches namely dating, health and fitness, MMO (Make Money Online) and software niches. This will make you look like a versatile writer. Ensure you include your fiverr gig link at the end of your rewritten article; make doubly sure that the link is clickable. You may or may not cloak it…it’s your choice. Test the link to make sure any visitor that clicks it will land on your gig page.

Then go to your gig, edit it and include your blog URL in your gig descriptions and save it. To make your blog easier to find on search engines, you should submit your blog to blog directories. I have a PDF that has a very huge list of blog directories where you can easily submit your blog for FREE.

I personally interviewed her via the fiverr chat platform, and besides a lot of things she said which time cannot permit me to mention here, she stated that her blog also had a hand in helping her get paying clients who then visited her fiverr page and ended up buying her gig. As at the time of writing this post, Amitbt has 141 orders, with over 11,600 reviews while Natashanixon has 32 orders in queue with over 14,600. Who do you think is winning here? So if you do not have a video on your gig and you can’t purchase one since you are yet to make a sell, then create a blog for your gigs. At least, you can do that for free…

…and your blog doesn’t have to be something complex or fancy.

Just go to http://blogger.com, or http://weebly.com, or http://about.me or even wordpress if you like, and create a simple site. Upload your fiverr profile picture and profile text to the site. Make sure you include the link to your writing gig (if you are in other niches besides writing, you can also use the idea here for your own gig).

Now get some PLR articles from the net. There are lots of PLR articles on the internet that you can just grab and REWRITE ‘EM. Just Google “free PLR articles”. If you find that too difficult, then go to http://ezinearticles.com or http://articlesbase.com and grab some articles there, and then proceed to rewrite them. I personally used PLR articles from different niches namely dating, health and fitness, MMO (Make Money Online) and software niches. This will make you look like a versatile writer. Ensure you include your fiverr gig link at the end of your rewritten article; make doubly sure that the link is clickable. You may or may not cloak it…it’s your choice. Test the link to make sure any visitor that clicks it will land on your gig page.

Then go to your gig, edit it and include your blog URL in your gig descriptions and save it. To make your blog easier to find on search engines, you should submit your blog to blog directories. Awwww. Wonderful memories. Back then when NTA and other stations were more Children friendly. Now its all about politics. Everythiing in nigeria is politicized. Children of now really missed a lot.

Don't mind them, jare.....the kids of nowadays are missing a lot.

I absolutely HATE Teletubbies, Barney, Power Rangers and all those fake stuffs they show these days.

As for politics...hmmmm.....NTA na baba for dat one. Nothing for the children again. I believe our generation really had it good when it comes to children entertainment..
