richmond500: I use to hear "inflation is coming down.
I do not see how it is coming down o. N10,000 only gives me around 40kwh of electricity which lasts me for only 2weeks to power
•my AC for like 1hr daily •Fridge is powered for around 10hrs •Ceiling fan is powered for around 15hrs daily •And 3 light bulb around for 7hrs.
I spend around 20k monthly on just light bill. Light bill and rent alone cost around 55k per month, rent is 400k per year. it outrageous. There is debt on your prepaid meter bro.. 3k recharge gives us 56 kwh here no debt on our prepaid |

Health › Re: Why Did I Ejaculate During Examination At Covenant University? by Olam09(m): 12:17pm On Apr 30, 2025 |
grandiose4ever: To Doctors In The House.
I am a Covenant University graduate. Some years ago during my 200L I enrolled for a course themed "CHM212: Physical Chemistry". After the semester end, half of the class failed the course miserably. So we retook the course in 300 Level as a "carryover", then I failed this course again. Then in 400L I enrolled for this course again.
This time around I read severely for the course because a failure would amount to an extra year. But when I got to the exam hall and opened the questions, much of it looked like Arabic to me. I couldn't even make sense of what the question was talk more of what the answers could be. Beyond writing my name, I could only attempt a few questions.
Looking around I could see how the 200 level Chemistry students where flipping papers. I could only curse my own department for making us enroll to Chemistry courses that were of little relevance to my department. To make things worse, some of these 200 level students where requesting for extra papers and I was wondering why anyone would need extra papers.
From afar it was clear that my 400L class mates also retaking the course where equally in disarray. One was sweating under AC, the other had that look - you know that look of a clueless person who was certain of failure and the last was making unsuccessful attempts to 'giraffe' another student. Some minutes later, some people started submitting scripts, then the principal supervisor declared 10 minutes more for the rest of us.
The moment she made that declaration, it was as though the reality of an extra year came blaring at my face. I could feel tension surging down my body from neck down and then my muscles contracted. Two seconds before, I was now certain I was going to have an ejaculation. I immediately held my head and pretended as though I was having a painful headache as one or two people looked my way wondering why I had a 'squirting face' and was in apparent discomfort.
After the ejaculation I felt peace of mind. So I immediately stood up and dashed towards the exit with my almost blank papers in hand covering my groin. I submitted and ran back to my hostel room before anyone could notice any wet spurt on my trousers. I changed over and ran back to Chapel begging God for even a D so I can graduate.
Glory to God, when the results came out I had a D - which is the minimum grade you could evade a carryover/extra year at CU.
But till today I wonder why and how I could have had that disgustingly embarrassing experience. I would be grateful if Doctors or Biologist could explain why such a thing would happen to me at an examination. I would like to know if anyone has experienced anything remotely close to that. Thank you for your time
It has happened to me before during exam but mine wasn't all that wet. |

The best way to hide information from a lazy nairalander might be to put it in writing Read well he said the last straw that broke the camel's back was last year.. |
Politics › Re: There Is No Law That Allows A President To Suspend A Governor - Falz by Olam09(m): 8:58am On Mar 19, 2025 |
BlueStripper: Lawyers and their regular tricks to deceive unsuspecting clients for the sole purpose of legal visibility and to amass wealth for themselves. Always encouraging failures to proceed to court when they already know you will loose.
Falz cannot tell me that he has suddenly developed legal amnesia because his snapshots already justifies the presidents position on the declaration of a state of emergency in rivers state.
Check my post 2 days ago, I said "a state of emergency" was the way forward. There is an occurrence and imminent danger in the state of the federation as pipelines are already being bombarded and threats flying left, right and center.
There is a breakdown of public order that poses a threat to public safety in rivers state and requires extraordinary measures to curtail an implosion and restore peace and security. The president met with the warring parties, they had an agreement but after they left the Vila, they continued fighting.
The president also received a request to impose a state of emergency from the Federal Executive Council and the legally recognised judicial arm of government in Rivers State, which is the state house of Assembly.
FALZ, THERE IS A LAW THAT JUSTIFIES THE IMPOSITION OF A STATE OF EMERGENCY AS PRESIDENT TINUBU HAS DONE. And there is no law that bars the president and commander in chief from suspending a sitting Governor.
The FALANA'S should stop misinterpreting the law. The days when everyone was ignorant of the basic laws and the name FALANA and OZEKHOME sounded like the Orunmila or Sango of the judiciary is long gone!
Nigeria has produced more legally sound citizens especially during and after the last presidential election.
We are no longer fools. Regardless of our political differences, we know the law. You think say falz na better lawyer he's a wacko.. imagine pipeline getting bomb and the acting governor doesn't know what to do. The federal gotta interview.. the last time something of such wanted to happen in Lagos. Lagos government decided to use the strong hand which people eventually labeled oppression. |

AngelicDamsel: I was very quiet while growing up, so everyone assumed I was innocent in many situations.
I remember one incident when my parents gave birth to our last boy in 2006, I was fond of eating all the baby foods, but my parents suspected all my brothers except me.
It got to a point that I started reserving Nan and other baby food in nylons and keep in my school bag.
My mom did not see it as a big deal, but my dad was always complaining about how fast the food finishes.
Although, I rarely do wrong, but when I did I got away because of my quiet nature and innocent face.
Looking back I feel so sorry, my dad was going through some hard times, but I was there filling myself with baby food, worst is I even battered our baby food in nylons with my class mates for baba dudu.
I am not angry that I over ate the baby foods, but I traded a nylon of baby foods with 1 naira baba dudu. I did not know value of things then, imagine trading peak milk for 1 "eat and clap" biscuit or Kahn drops sweets.
May God bless all fathers who go through hell to provide for their family yet their children do not see the sweat. Then, I thought my dad was super rich and money was easy until I became an adult.
Because I thought it was easy for you, I was reckless with your money.
I was the only girl of 5 children I even sold full scalf sheets from my higher education note book during my secondary school exams to myself, and collected money from him for each leave, sometimes I think he knew what I was doing but chose to play ignorant to make me have my way with him.
Love you dad. ❣ |

DeLaRue: Had amala last week for the first time in about 10 years.
3 days later, I asked if my host could make it again.
Host was shocked...when did you start eating amala, she asked
I told her I noticed that first day, I didn't feel heavy, bloated and wanting to doze off ( ) like when I eat pounded yam.
Turned out to be true. When she made it the 2nd time, after eating we went out, went shopping, talked, laughed etc Basically, I was myself. However, if I eat pounded yam, I dey dey heavy, miserable, tired, and not interested in anything. Na to just look where to sleep
Seems amala wins! Amala is like 50% water...i don't like eating it for breakfast.. it's preferably at evening or night time.. Amala tend to digest easily just like semo |
