They have literally fought and killed themselves from the days of Solomon, David, Moses, Adolf Hitler and PM Netayahun over a tiny piece of shitty land with horrible weather and poor soil texture
TheOldGods: Nobody is talking about the big Elephant in the room, which is lack of electricity. This week I've spent 58,000 naira on fuel for my generator for work, that is full tank for alot of cars every week, and the car owners are complaining, what about us that need Electricity to work.
I barely get 6 hours of electricity, I tried buying solar, but the conditions are too much, turn off this, turn this on, don't use this bulb. Mehn, plus I can't turn on AC while working.
Since my work is from home I decided to buy a laptop worth 1million here on Nairaland (thanks to Nairaland) just to ease my work, atleat I get 4 hours of break in severe heated room with my laptop.
How else can someone survive in this country with this low electricity, is there any state that is better? Or is it a must I have to travel to another African country just to get simple electricity to work. My generator just went off and my fuel gone, that why I came here to rant. I'm going to buy feul at 615 naira per litre
One student from our school got the opportunity back then when i was in Lagos state government secondary school. We call it A day Governor.. They're been picked base on how literally they are..
DamnnNiggarr: Below is a video of a little girl mimicking her father's disability.
I saw the video on X (formerly Twitter), while some people found the video funny, others condemned it. Me too, I condemned it.
Is it something to be encouraged, for kids to mimick their father's disability?
how would you react, if you're in the man's shoe? because the little girl could be heard calling out the father several times to show the people how he stammers.
KiNg0G: I am not here for financial aid but help from people who have overcome such problems.
I can't help but think, when I get married with a wife and kids to feed, is this how I am going to continue? How will my family respect me.
This is the 3rd time of me replacing my tv set in the last 2years. Whenever I run out of money, I search for anything valuable to sell in my home, with the mindset that I will replace it. Which I normally do but sometimes it takes time because i know i might sell it again within some weeks. This is getting on me deeply with the number of cartons of phones and receipts from same equipments I no longer have. My generator is another thing to talk about that my neighbors and landlord are starting to gossip because I can't explain changing of generator to and fro when its always placed outside.
I know I need help but don't know how to go about this. I am not here for financial assistance as claimed by some peoples in anyway please, some of us seek for ways to stop some certain things when we know we are falling off tracks.
I am on my way to lg office to replace my TV for the third time and the thought of it warrants this post.
No matter how broke i go, I've never sold my property.. i don't feel good selling my property it's like selling part of my self i rather dash it out.

Nbote: First I even want to understand why they hurriedly buried him. Muslims don't bury with a casket, they just wrap you with clothes and bury so it isn't about his religion. Why exactly were his family in a hurry to bury him
He's a Christian his dad is a pastor.. probably he might have lay down the rule that he should be buried less than 24hrs after his death.
Why do we just keep majoring in trifles? What is the essence of a power outage reporting App when the power itself is largely non-existent? Does NERC and the FG require daily reports from citizens to know that Nigerians are lacking electricity? This is the only country where the slightest indication of rainfall amounts to total blackout, for reasons they have never bothered to explain to the populace. It's currently raining in Gwarimpa Abuja, and the power has been out for over 2hours now. By the time the rain fades, it's going to take another two days for AEDC to dry high tension cables and transformers .
Instead of prioritising electricity improvement, una dey launch App to report unavailability of light. E be like na Ogun wan kill una papa!
Two and they all broke my heart.. I'm about to say it to the 3rd person now.. she's way more younger than me the age difference is 6 yrs.. and she really love me but i don't want to show my feelings.. i think i can't hide my Feelings anymore i need to tell her i love her too.. but still considering alot..
RockHard: We Obidients reject that verdict . Even if it's true that BAT has no criminal record in America, as long as we say he does then he does. Obidients and Igbos all across the universe reject this judgement. We will not take it!!!!!
You better go build aso rock replica for Anambra go put Peter Obi for there..
xin5: Please is that how it's been done? I bought a land early 2018 and now I feel like selling out. The families who sold it to me said they are entitled for their own percentage from the money the buyer is offering. Please I need to know if that's how it's done. I only went to inform them I would be handling the piece of land to a new owner and thought kola nut and palm wine would be it, since they also sold to several people there and also have some available I thought I should let them know for future reference... instead they are asking how much I am selling and wants to know every details of it.
Meanwhile the deeds that's about to be prepared would be in my name and that of the buyer, what consigns the family?
I had to tell them that's not possible it's my own land I bought from them I am selling, he went further and said it's either they buy it back from with same amount I bought 2018 or I give them their percentage from the appreciating amount or I develop and let matter rest.
Please help
Don't answer them.. you're the owner of the land they handed the possession to you and signed the document. Take them to court they're thieves..
Latty88: When I hear someone say they are broke, I start to think about how they measure money. Yes I know everybody's income varies. Every time one of my friends complains about being broke, I know she has a few thousand Naira in her account.
Before I complain of being broke that means I have nothing in my account.
Malroux: Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion are unanimously expecting Peter Obi's divine mandate to be returned to him by the PEPT. All eyes on the judiciary.
Chizzy7890: I traveled to Togo against my parents wish in the year 2021 for a greener pasture I left behind my 3 years old daughter with my parents , although the reality I have seen in Togo was not as expected, but I was at least working and sending something home to my parents.
Communication was less because I couldn't afford to calls more often. I returned back home this august the 7th and my daughter was nowhere to be found.
My parents first lied to me that she was with my mum's sister that they will send someone to pick her up but to no avail. So myself I went to my mum sister house and my daughter wasn't there and she doesn't know where she was.
I asked my parents over and over again all I could get is insults from my dad , he is angry whenever i bring the subject and my siblings are not cooperating and they've refusing to tell me the truth.
I am sick and tired of asking and no getting any answers I am trying to be calm to avoid disrespecting my parents but I am loosing patience.
So many things is going throught my head I will have no option but to take things into my own hands and hurt my dad the outcome may be deadly ,
Please no insult how do I handle the situation without disrespecting my parents or do you think I should take the matter to the police ?
Do you want to know the bitter truth? Your daughter is no more..
