Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nairalanders Hopeful For Kpmg - Drop A Note Here by olamipo200(f): 10:56am On Aug 30, 2007
Hey people, good to know there are a lot of people in this race. i was called for the 2nd interview about two months ago or thereabout and i'm yet to go in for the third but i am hopeful grin
i think that how long the whole process lasts actually depends on the department you have chosen. some of the departments have immediate needs and some, you have to wait for a vacancy. but in October, i think they recruit for all deparments and send all the fresh intakes to trining school.

For those of you who do not know that KPMG Professional services used to be former AA, shocked please do a proper research. grin

KPMG is a good training ground and i wish everyone who hopes to get in all the best.

see you all at the top!!!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Spanish, French Or Dutch? by olamipo200(f): 12:17pm On Jul 23, 2007
@rosaire

i don't seem to agree with you that dutch is easier to learn than french. i studied both at the university and i personally think french is easier. i do agree however that it is a matter of interest.

@topic

you can actually pick anyone cos i know none is easier than the other. for Dutch, you may wish to visit Goethe institut V/I lagos and for french, you can follow rosaires advice cos they are the best when it comes to teaching french.

all the best

Why not? It's just proof that she's exposed and has an experience in both worlds. And i'll re-emphasize the 'EX'. The fact that she was doesn't mean she still is. it just simply means she knows when she's done something wrong and can make a correction or change!

Politics / Re: Safer World Without Men? by olamipo200(f): 1:38pm On Jul 12, 2007
The problem may be in the way women choose their men. You ladies like "real" men and real men have issues. "Real" men have big egos and often feel the need to defend their "pride" using violence.

i beg to disagree Seun. Everyone has issues and egos are very common with men whether they are considered 'real' or not. using violence to defend their pride may have nothing to do with how real they are. Or maybe i should ask waht you mean by 'real',
you'd actually be suprised at the way 'unreal' men react when their ego is bruised.
