Hello house.. please I got a medical request on 10th of Dec, passed 22nd of Dec my correspondence letter since 24th Dec. No news after that. Please any advise on what to do next??

It is really not oo.. since my correspondence dropped on 24th of December, my heart has been cutting anytime I get a mail. I know it will end in praise.

Like I always advise applicants before embarking on the Canada study journey, you must really have a lot of patience cos the process of waiting for a decision can make someone depressed if you are not prepared for it..

This is my advise that will help a little, after applying for your Canada study permit and doing your biometrics, take off your mind from it and focus on other aspects of your life, I.e your Job, your business , your family e.t.c. Make sure you do somethings that engages your time and mind, do not put all your life around your Canada application, at least you had a life before Canada, so let it remain like that..

You can occasionally be checking your profile or your mails to see if there is any update from IRCC.. And this can be done once or twice a month, and not the every minute checking of your profile like some applicants here do..

This Canada Visa application is not for the faint hearted, this doesn't only apply to study permit application, Express Entry, Visiting Visa e.t.c also experience delays in final decision..

Despite the long wait and delay, it will surely end in oriase..

Yes I got a passport request and it was updated to passed on Wednesday.

Normal validation of your biometrics. It comes mostly when a final decision has been made on an app.

Have you done medicals? if yes, its 60/40 chance of an approval

Is not compulsory to do upfront medicals but it Is advisable just to facilitate ones application. Now if VO is certified with your application, and without medicals already in your app, what he or she will do is send you request for medicals. But had it been that you did upfront medicals, in place of that request for medical that will be sent to you, you will now get your request for original passport.

So that's just that. And again. If when the Moe send you request for medicals, another thing is to find a mar date within the 30 day time frame give as most dates are already filled up. That's why you see most people here asking for who has slot for swap bla bla bla lol. So the choice is yours Teni
