Use Sebamed soap and cream. It works like a charm. Would look for a before and after picture of my baby using it. In just 2 days there was a visible difference. Also help by reducing what would make her sweat.

But that Sebamed is expensive sha.

we are advised not to use powder for new born due to the chemical make-up. Use coconut oil or any other natural oitment

If you can, get dove pure and sensitive. I bless the mom that brought it to my attention at new born thread I think mommy babythug or onegai did. Sebamed didn't do nada for me (though I still use it sometimes if I don't get the dove)

I had a stressful day at work and started feeling funny, my head was heavy, though it wasnt my antenatal day but i managed to go to the hospital to complain,was 36/37weeks already,they checked my bp which was usually 100/70 but it went up to 140/90,i was told to rest for an hour so they will recheck,for my own mind i just wanted to go home, shower and sleep cos i hate hospital environment but managed to wait
When they rechecked it went up to 150 /100, i told the doc to give me diazepam so i can go home and rest, just then the MD walked in and was informed,he checked my case file& told me you are going nowhere , before i could say jack he told them to prepare the theatre cos he dsnt want to take any chances, haa i told him to wait so i can call my DH, that one too was shocked and said he will close and rush down
We started the surgery 12am, they give me one yeye injection and told me to count 1-50,i ddnt get to 10 before i just blanked out and was in another world
I opened my eyes and the image was getting clearer small small,i demanded to see my baby,na then my mind come down
To stand up and move to the ward was another torture

Dont know what to do, my baby refused to suck shs used to feeding from syringe,i don try tire but she no gree,she go just comot mouth.
2ndly how does one cope with a dirty MIL cos if someone talks they will d DIL is rude, she will pack baby clothes on the bare hospital floor before washing, she doesnt bother to wash her hand after using rag or handling dustbin and still use the hand to carry baby and play with her hand, omo im seriously boiling

dont be scared, in two/three days you will feel better ,just use a good hospital.its normal for colostrum to leak

abeg make una help advice. We went for ante natal today ooo, na so the new gynecologist replacing my Dr said I wouldn't be allowed to fall into labour, as I will either be induced or do CS

we are in the same boat ,but my gynae insists on CS at 37weeks because baby might get distressed and due to last experience he doesnt want to take chances, which ever method it shall end in praise in jesus name.

You can comfortably use this. Fit a mattress inside and you are good. That's wat I used for both babies and they are also very safe inside
