What's wrong with using all those seized houses scattered across the country? A country where its citizens sleep under the bridge and pack themselves in face me I face you apartment; how can this government be this unreasonable? Always begging for one thing or the other. They asked us to stay indoors and practice social distancing; and now they are changing tunes again. The WHO is the reason why coronavirus became a pandemic. NCDC says COVID-19 will eventually go round all states. Lockdown may slow down the spread, but it's people's determination to cooperate with the government that would do the magic. My worry is the elites, these set of people are so arrogant and irresponsible to put it mildly. They are the reason why we are where we are now. Most Ibos especially on Nairaland are so arrogant and childish that they think they are immune to the virus. One even made a post yesterday mocking the Yorubas and making jest out of the I million boys issue. If you have ever been to Kano before, then you will be truly concerned for them. As a matter of fact, start praying for the rest of the North because social distancing will be almost impossible to practice or enforce. A place like Sabongari on a Friday during Jumat prayer is like a time bomb. Just imagine the number they now have just one week or so after the index case was recorded. This will give you a clue to what to expect. |
