He was the one that made Gowon chief of army staff while allowing northern officers to occupy strategic positions in the army as a way of appeasing them after the january coup. He was the one who had the chance to finally wipe you lot out of the army, police and co but refused, rather prefering to travel all over the place in the name of peace. That was why the second coup was very very easy to happen. Aginst all advice from igbo officers, he was there being more Nigerian than anybody else, travelling with a retineu of northern military officers as his guards...

Once again, lets state the fact; Ironsi did NOT poerticipate in any coup. Even Danjuma who was enthrusted with the duty of safegaurding him at Ibadan and who killed him said he did so because he was slow in trying Nzeogwu and co. Obasanjo made Ironsis son the minister of Defence immediately after Danjuma resigned. That was a powerful way of trying to spite Danjuma. If Ironsi was involved in any coup, those who foght to revenge that coup wouldnt have congratulated his son with the position of the minister of defence. You guys should stop rewriting history. Ifeajuna and Nzeogwu led the January 15 coup. They were igbo and those who killed over 3 million to truncate their revolution can look at beutifull Nigeria today and pat themselves in their backs for their foresight in biulding a very sweet and prosperous country.

and you think churches don't pay school fees and or help thier members?, let's start from the 90s as you said, back then there used to be a special donation for evangelists in the field, comprising of clothes, food items and clothes, although few churches still do it, also I know a church that sponsored three orphans up to university level, they were three brothers, also I know some widows whose children have been helped by the church to learn a trade and even get jobs, so my friend I don't know how many churches you have attended but stop saying things you know nothing about, yes i will agree that these days this things I mentioned are being practiced by few,but going to the 90s to say that the church wasn't up and doing as at then is just a case of giving a dog a bad name, which is why I will ask again, how many churches did you attend in the 90s, and don't think the church will come and start announcing that thay just paid the school fees of this member's child, except you are privileged to be in such a congregation
