You need to think outside the box pls. If N30 was deducted from his monetary compensation for spending just 9months instead of 12months. i.e 3months proportional value of the shirt (N30) is taken as penal charge. Then the price of the shirt (Valued for 12months by the examiner) is 12/3*30 = N120. Just think am well.

I think you are not looking at my solution provided. This your ratio adopted is WRONG. Let me work back on my answer as below:

IF B=144, THEN:

HENCE: B+S+T = 144+96+192=432.

Let the shirt = S

Payment for one year = 200+S
Therefore payment for one month = (200+S)/12

In 9 months = (200+S)/12*9
Actual receipt in 9 months = 120+S

And u forgot that the shirt was presented to u in 12months not 3months by the examiner. So u are to gross it up. Hence the price of d shirt for 12months is 12/3*30 = 120

I don't see re-channeling ur effort in banking as wise. I was in ur shoe and it took me 47days to get a non banking job after my exit but more specialized role with ridiculous pay, what was more important was the experience I garnered. I immediately enrolled for my ICAN program and qualified within 1 year 6months then got a better job afterwards. And God Almighty above all. I am grateful to Him alone.

No package. ICAN isn't NIM that allows corper to pay peanut to write 8papers within 2 weeks and pass minimum of 6 in order to qualify for admission into the graduate membership cadre.

I wrote three papers in foundation viz--a-viz FA, BIZ LAW and mgt info...only mgt info is my concern.I was able to solve only two numerical questions and one other theoretical question dat carried 10marks

Then expect to score 61, so far ur numerical was well attempted and the theory answered isn't bad. Best of luck.

A. POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES OFFERED

Ph.D. Degree Programmes

These are available to holders of M.A; M.Ed.; M.Eng.; M.Sc.; LL.M; M.Comm.H.; and M.P.H degrees, with a minimum of 60% or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score in their Master degree programmes. A Ph.D. degree programme runs for a minimum period of 36 calendar months and a maximum period of 48 calendar months for full-time candidates OR a minimum period of 48 calendar months and a maximum period of 60 calendar months for part-time candidates. Relevant Courses will be taken for the Ph.D. studies where prescribed and a Thesis is required at the end of the Ph.D. programme.

M.Phil /Ph.D. Degree Programmes
Candidates who score between 55.00 and 59.99 percent can apply for admission into the Master of Philosophy (M.Phil/Ph.D.) degree programme. The M.Phil/Ph.D. degree programme is available only to full-time candidates. It runs for a minimum period of 12 calendar months and a maximum period of 24 calendar months and a Dissertation is produced after the research work. Candidates in this category are eligible for conversion to Ph.D. candidature, following a progress assessment report to be made by a Panel of Examiners at the end of the first session of registration. To be eligible for conversion for the Ph.D. program, candidates are expected to score not less than 60% (aggregate) at the end of the first session.

Master Degree Programmes
M.A.; M.Ed.; M.Eng.; M.Sc.; M.Com.H., LL.M and M.P.H. degrees run for a minimum period of 24 calendar months and a maximum period of 36 calendar months for full-time candidates OR a minimum period of 36 calendar months and a maximum period of 48 calendar months for part-time candidates. All Master Degree Programmes are by course work. This is in addition to a research report at the end of which a Dissertation is produced

Postgraduate Diploma Degree Programmes
Postgraduate Diploma degrees are available to candidates with a Third class (honours) degree.

Applicants are to note that programmes automatically lapse at the expiration of the prescribed maximum duration for each programme. However, a candidate may apply for an extension of not more than 12 months, in the first instance, subject to a maximum of two such extensions.

I have a first degree in Marketing with CGPA of 3.17, done my M.sc in Business Administration, though results not officially compiled yet but from all indications I will come with a CGPA of 3.80. My Question is "can I say I comfortably stand the chance of getting admitted to study for PhD without going through Mphil if i want to continue in my field? The intention is to become an university don.

It depend on d University u are considering for ur PhD. I know UNILAG and many Nigerian federal Universities will not allow u go directly for PhD without MPhil, they insist on d 4.0/5.0 CGPA. But most Nigeria state University would offer PhD admission directly.
