I think it was at my 3rd attempt it finally paid off: I got a teaching job after passing thru the normal assessments. It was one of my best paid jobs.
I even performed better dan the legitimate invitees in the test and interview.

It works if you know how to compose yourself and if you have the liver. But if you happen to meet those employers dat use bouncers to welcome candidates, ur name na OYO, especially if u travelled all the way from Agege to Lekki!
My opinion is dat it only works in small companies, don't try it with well established firms, you'd be turned back.

Gate-crashing works so well. You just have to be informed and confident. Yours sincerely got his present job through gate-crashing.

T be on d safer side, go for affidavit or get a new birth certificate tailored to d claimed DOB. U can always get as many birth cert as possible. If I may ask, are u using NECO not WAEC? If WAEC, u may be on ur own ooooo. Pls go and succeed come August 6.

The answer is no and yes. No employer cares what age u used to secure ur admission into the University. What matter is your O'level. If u have only WAEC, the answer is no, but if NECO, the answer is yes. WAEC CERT carries ur date of birth but NECO CERT does not.

It all depend on which career path you wish to tread. Academic or professional? If academic, pls go for ur Msc, afterwards, PhD. But if professional path, pls go for ur professional courses but that doesn't preclude the fact that you would still need your masters when you attain a certain level on the rung. As for me, I prefer being in the class.

I learnt a lot from it. It made me stronger and up the job hunting game.

Being fearful is not a good one neither is being over confident. Yours sincerely was over confident at an interview and failed.

Mine was with one of d big 4 audit firm. I realized I wouldn't be called for the next stage when my interviewer asked "did u think it is ur grade that will work for us here?". Regret mail landed after a week.

u can always edit ur signature to what u have on d PC.

It is allowed to send mail with ur phone provided u are on d field and d mail is time bound. E.g cheque confirmation by an account officer of a bank, who is presently out of office. That is even d more reason why ur official mail is configured to ur phone.

A nice one. However, I want to disagree with the point raised on skim-reading. Remember u don't have the whole time in d world. Skimming is analogous to smartness if done well. And that reader should read test instructions aloud, it's no no. It is against the tenets of effective reading to read aloud as it impact negatively on ones understanding and eat deep in ones limited time.

As for me, I am a Management graduate. In the course of my introduction during an interview with a commercial bank, I purported to possess numerate skills, not knowing that my interviewer is an engineering graduate, the questions were:
8^2/3?
what is d formulae for a sum of GP?
Formulae for 2nd order derivative?
formulae for inverse of a matrix?
what is the most interesting thing about a balance sheet?
structure of a balance sheet?

4days later I got my success mail, thereafter i got subsequent mails for medicals and invitation to training school, but didn't spend a month after the training b4 my resignation.

my HR status reads "PENDING FINAL ASSESSMENT" since last year December. I had my online test sometime last year May and interview last year September. I'm yet to be invited for SRD. I hope I am not alone?

I beg u not to waste ur time and money to that place oooo. I have been there b4, u will be required to write a personality test while holding a briefing session. At the end, u will be required to make a certain payment for I.D card and what-not. what are they into? GNLD! #my 10cent

Since the interpretation of the CGPA is d grade u already state on ur CV. In my own opinion, it will makes no sense having d CGPA on d CV.
