Crime / Re: Nasarawa: Man Commits Suicide After ‘Discovering Wife Was Sleeping With Friends by olaztek(m): 10:06pm On Sep 11
The economy has made it worse for a lot of married men to carry on their financial duties. Their wives cannot cope seeing their children starving and stealing from neighbors to find something to eat.

So they end up taking the easier route (oloshoism) to cater for their husband and children.
A very bad decision, but who am I to judge? I can only pray to never find myself in such miserable condition.

To enjoy life is to have a lot of good experiences. What is life if

1. you cannot leave your comfort zone and travel within and outside your territory.

2. You cannot taste variety of good food grown in different part of the world.

3. Cannot use technologies e.g cars, planes, smartphones, Tv, AC, ships, etcs developed in this 21st century.

4. Cannot marry to raise a beautiful family.

All these can only be achieved if you are making good money.

Your life will be miserable and boring as hell unless you are a religious person who believed in afterlife where there is paradise to experience everlasting fun and enjoyment.

Those students didn't choose to go to the school for the love of the country but to become soldiers and harass unharmed civilians at any slight opportunity.

As a man, your value will drop if you give away your attention easily. And as a woman, your value will drop when you give away sex easily.

Money, six pack, gold/silver etc are difficult to get and that's what made them valuable. As long as all these resources are scarce and difficult to achieve, humanity will always chase them.

The current inflation is making our hardwork fruitless. You work, work and work tirelessly and you have nothing to show for it except feeding and paying basic bills.

Single guys are lucky because they have only their mouth to feed and they are also unlucky because it is now extremely difficult to settle down and start a family.

There’s nothing better than being debt free.

Always try to avoid getting into loans and debt. The future money you will get will thank you dearly. If you broke either work for money or beg. Don’t go into debt. I am begging you.

Whether student loan, mortgage, payday loans or whatever stop borrowing. And if you must borrow from people (Atleast that person could d I e) banks and loan sharks don’t die.

However mortgage debt is still understandable. Only good debt out of all debts.

If you can’t afford it don’t go into loans.
Being in debt is like you being in chains. Debt takes away your freedom and peace of mind. It's one of the fastest way to get heart attack.

As a man, it's your duty to always tell your story, Cos If you don't, other people would tell it and it would be in a way that's bitter, brutal and lack any atom of your true reality.

You will be called lazy, crazy, incompetent and stupid, a man who's incapable of doing anything worthy.

To tell your story, you have to show the world your skills, abilities and values so people can define you for who you are and not what they think , and if you don't show them the stuff you are made of, you will be treated like a nobody.

I have decided to start mobile power station rental for small businesses.

If you look around you, you will realize there are many businesses that only need basic lighting and a small/wall fan to run their operations and it hurts my heart seeing them burning expensive fuels to power their generators.

Running traditional generators comes with so much wahala and headaches - noise, regular fuel refills and oil changes, unexpected breakdowns, surges damaging electronics, fire, maintenance fees etc.

Buy renting out portable power stations to these businesses at a low cost will help them save money and be more productive.

My targets are salons/barbershops, drug stores, foodstuff sellers, provision stores, phone charging business etc.
I will be sharing my ideas, designs and journey toward achieving this goal.

ajabani4allah:

Pls can you give more details on how to go about setting the current?

It's easy to set operating current of a buck converter if the load is resistive / inductive such as a led bulb or motor, but for a battery, it's quite tricky.

The constant current provided by the buck changes in tandem with the battery voltage level. If the battery is low let's say at 10.5v, the buck will deliver a high constant current. As the battery is nearing full charge @ around 12v, the buck delivers a low constant current.

For simplicity sake, just tweak the current trimmer clockwise to the max level till you start hearing some clicks from the trimmer, set your charging voltage, and put a cooling fan above your buck converter to prevent damage from overheating.

Doing this will not make your buck converter to burn out irrespective of the solar power rating supplied to it.

officialfestus:
good morning boss.
If a regular car battery charger can fully charge a lithium ion battery with bms installed without any issues. Then a normal inverter of 24v should be able to charge a 24v 7s battery without issues also?

Cc dollarnaira ewizard1

Lithium ion batteries are very sensitive and requires cc/cv source to charge them safely. A car battery charger does not have the cc/cv function and therefore risky to charge lithium ion batteries.

Many manufacturers are now integrating Lithium charging profile into their charge controllers and inverters to accomodate Lithium battery.

Be careful with Lithium ion battery as any wrong charger or Inverter not designed for it can cause thermal runaway in the battery pack thereby leading to fire and loss of property. Do not solely rely on your bms for maximum protection as it can fail like every other electronics.

And note Lithium fire is difficult to extinguish because it has its own special type of fire extinguisher.

Someone asked if we can charge 12v li-ion battery bank directly through buck converter, bypassing solar charge controller .
I'm presently using this 9a buck converter. So please I'll like to know if it's safe to connect it directly to the battery, bypassing charge controller completely?? And will it function quite well?? 🤔
The buck converter is designed to supply constant voltage / constant current and it's good for charging Lithium battery.

Before connecting the battery, set the output voltage to 12.7v with the help of a multimeter/voltage meter, Then connect the battery, the green light will immediately change to blue light to indicate charging.

Once the battery reaches 12.7v, the green light will turn on to indicate full charge. The buck converter Will not overcharge the battery beyond the set voltage.

And one advantage of the buck converter over pwm cc is that it can be connected to any number of solar power rating be it 100w, 500w or 1000w and it won't burn out because it has a current limiting function ( you should know how to set the charging current within the buck converter limit - 8amp)
