please i'd like to ask if your ssce subject combination must correlate with your jamb combination even if it says you can put other subjects. I want to study mathematics in ui, scored 280 but in my combination with my ssce subjects and jamb it's about 66.7 but with other subjects that I didn't write in jamb it's about 70.please you know I'd like to go for the higher score, so please if you have any idea, please lemme know

Total Score= 262

I didn't nail it hard like you medical guys but i had enough score to get me Statistics. I wouldn't say jamb deducted my score cus i already knew what my score range will be. I knew i was going to score the highest in maths and the lowest in chemistry(stupid bunch of organic chemistry)

So make una help me thank God say at least i passed. My agg score is 62.75 and Statistics cutoff last year was 50.

Until the new requirements for Computer Science, Geography, Psychology and Food Technology were released after last year's admission, biology used to be compulsory as a UME subject for Psychology, and you have to choose one of govt or econs too.

But this isn't the case in the new requirement. But again, if you can or you have someone that can help you visit the admin office, try and contact them.

u have 61.08 as aggregate score if we shun ur Yoruba grades but had 66.08 if we use ur Yoruba grade.

last year cut off was 62.

during screening proper I think u have to use Yoruba in place of maths since ur course somehow related to linguistic which Yoruba is also.

My younger sis got 203 in jamb with waec aggregate of 35...chose nursing at UI, I don't think her score will get her in for the course..What other options does she have cos I don't want her to stay at home.

list out ur olevel grades so that we can help check whether u stand a chance or not

well this is what's written English Language and any other 3 subjects from Social Sciences and/or Sciences.

Just go to UI.EDU.NG on the front page where they wrote about jamb just click on the link

this is the same regulation we marstubate on last year and it failed us.
I once told u somewhere that u need biology on ur jamb combo and not only on ur olevel.
we debated on this very issue whether biology was needed on ones jamb combo or only on ones olevel.we erroneously followed the latter and we paid dearly for that.
a guy beat psychology cutoff last year with a difference of 8 marks but was not admitted cos he didn't sit for biology in jamb.
the guy is also a nairaland.
when I could not meet up with law cutoff last year,I changed to psychology alongside with my friend with 13 and 10 marks above cutoff but none of us was admitted.
do u think that this three cases are mere coincidences or what?
note that the first guy chose the course from beginning unlike us that changed to psychology when we failed to meet up with law cutoff mark.
ui doesn't play with jamb comb.
this has denied many people admission.
I would advice u to email their admission office to be sure.
pls I said this using our own experience last year o.
u can shun this comment pls.

u need only five subjects relevant to ur course and not six.
If we should remove one c 6,
u have 50.416665 as ur aggregate.
50 was cutoff for philosophy last year
