This is one of the most popular events on this forum and I'm sure a lot of people who don't frequent the romance section will like to participate.

Practically Tommen has the strongest claim. See the Targaryens lost the throne by conquest through Bobby B, a Targaryen claim after this would have to be in the same manner. They lost all right to the throne, until one comes along and takes it. Dany's claim is strengthened by her dragons not by her ancestry.

That's not true. You are letting your dislike for Daenarys cloud your judgement. Aegon I conquered 6 of the 7 kingdoms and forged the Iron throne...so it's originally a Targaryen lineage. Robert rebelled for good reason and ascended the throne. So let's also say that the Baratheons have some measure of claim. To even qualify as a contender, you have to be a prince born in wedlock, then ur ancestry will now come into play. We all know Tommen is a bastard and all the legitimate Baratheons are gone. As the only surviving child of Aerys, Dany definitely has the most rightful claim to the throne.

The argument is about claim, so u must factor history and Ancestry.

Same here. The anticlimax started in season 5. It sorta dragged and the content did not justify a whole year's production. No thanks to the idea of 10 episodes per season. This season is no different. I forsee a disappointing ending.

Yea, I agree, S06 is lacking content so far, but even R. R Martin knows it would be suicidal to get rid of Dany just yet. The show will lose one of it's major plots and probably half it's appeal. As the story stands, she has the most claim to the Iron Throne.
