BlaqFaze:
I understand and the same applies to TerStegen

Are we going to leave him on the bench after what he did last season and also doing this season before his injury?
At professional level, there's no room for emotions and sentiment..who performs better should get chosen to play.

If Leno wasn't injured, nobody will know how good Emi Martinez is/was. Before anybody come up with 'I always knew Emi was great" nobody knew untill he started playing regularly and eventually helped arsenal with the fa cup victory. Even when Leno returned, Emi kept his place till end of season because of his "world class performances"

The next season, arsenal decided to let one of them go and it was Emi who left. That's what I think will happen here. Pena will not be backup next season and will leave "if" he performs at a world class level only to be left as a backup again. Stegen will also feel sad and will eventually leave if he's benched by Pena. It's a dilemma but a good kind of dilemma.

Madrid had no issues dropping Casilas for Navas. Even Barca had no issues dropping/selling Bravo who was the best GK in Laliga for Stegen.

Czech was not in absolute decline when he was dropped for the returning Courtouis.

So my point is, who's playing at a world class level should continue as first choice. I don't care who it is. Stegen or Pena. Who's stopping shots and helping us more should play!!!

Lol...you guys are getting carried away seriously

Pena has been very good, no doubt but TerStegen is our best goalkeeper, as simple as a that. He was also the best goalkeeper in Laliga last season

Byke is just a troll
Carried away keh lol

I even typed all that and added a caveat because I was expecting this "carried away" thing.

I'm not carried away man. Go and read everything I wrote there.

If we're doing well especially in the UCL with a stable defence and Pena as the GK, then we should continue with him till at least end of season or when we're eventually knocked out.

Caveat remains world class sturvs from Pena. I don't know if u understand me sha 😔

On byke, I have nothing to comment on his position on Stegen. This is just my opinion not byeks!

Slightly out of context; if you believe Emefiele is actually in Kuje jail then I tell you the truth, I have three plots of land to sell for you near the Queen's resident.

Vlahovic that has 1 goal in his last eight games for Juventus despite playing in a scam league. Nobody should be mentioning that waste pipe on this thread.
I don't think Vlahovic is a waste pipe though just having it rough at the moment. He's a pure goal scorer with better service.

I don't know about Chelsea but Vlahohic will score goals in the EPL...

Isak who's now a hit in the EPL scored 6 league goals in Laliga all season before Newcastle bought him!

BlaqFaze:
TerStegen is still better in both making saves and playing with his feet.

Xavi has to use the best available player, so Pena will go back to the bench once TerStegen is back from injury
Imagine the drop in confidence if Pena was to read this. What happened to rewarding performances on the pitch?

In my opinion, if Pena is playing at a world class level and making crucial stops especially in the UCL, then there should be no need to interrupt him when Stergen returns.

I'm not against Stergen but Pena should continue provided he's showing world class sturvs!

I reteirate. Caveat=World class sturvs!

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

It was set in stone that Chelsea will make top 4 this season according to our resident optimist.

Seems it was set in mud that they wouldn't even make top 8. Chai, club of dreams 😭😭😭

Anyways, Up blues 💙💙💙

Continue to seeth. I'm loving it.

An undeserved penalty for United in 90+7, converted by Bruno will be so cool.

More juice!!! 😂 😂 😂 😂

Ter Dogshït has been undisputed started for majority of his Barca career.

When Bravo was the same age as Ter Dogshït currently is...Lucho was starting Ter Dogshït in UCL games.

It's time for Xavi to simply do the same with InakiPenya.

HIS TIME IS SIMPLY NOW.

yh, sad for him but he should be patient...his time will come.

With this performance, he'll surely replace MATS in a few years time
Surely is a stretch bro. Matts is just 31. For a GK, that's his prime age. He can still play for seven or at least six more years.

Pena is 24, yet to see regular action at professional level. I don't see him waiting that long for Matts. I think he's good enough to start for clubs like Valencia, Villarreal, Girona, Bournemouth, Lens, etc.

He'll eventually leave sadly!

A team that’s likely 4 points behind the top cannot qualify for the ucl ,but when Madrid where 10 points behind Barca last season we didn’t see foolish talk like this grin

Watch how Laliga becomes incredibly competitive if Madrid wins it. But just last season when Barca won it, it was a shiit league

If we lose or draw, I'll not blame Xavi at all. He's set the team up really well today. Kudos to him on that.

It was a two edge sword anyways.

If he does well here, we'll be forced to sign him. If he doesn't then a return to A.Madrid.

No in between. I still think Nico Williams in that left wing suits us better and he should return to A.Madrid. my opinion sha grin
