andrewbaba44:Context matters brother man.... Titi spent most of his Barca career as a left winger. You don't expect him to have same numbers as a #9. Villa was a striker @Valencia. At Barca he was made to play as a traditional left winger. Of course his goal return will be low. The comparison would've been noteworthy if both played as a 9 during their time here. It's just like comparing Eto numbers with that of Milito at Inter. While Mulito was the top 9 and taking penalties, Eto was a right winger. For Titi, Villie and Lewy, I don't think there's bases for comparison other than the fact that all played as strikers in their previous club but at Barca they(Titit & villa) had a role change. Yes, Lewy is one of the greatest strikers ever but at Barca especially this season, he's been lethargic at times. He's back to form though and I hope it continues that way. |
andrewbaba44: ![]() You also recommended Jackson if I can remember correctly and now Jackson is known as a comedian. Nico is good and I've watched him closely. I don't see how he'll elevate a top team. He's not world class and his finishing is very normal. He could do well at Barca since he knows the league already. For me he's a pace merchant and I consider Adingra better than him. I could be wrong in future but currently he's very normal. However, the real deal is Pedro Neto. Right wing, left wing, false 9. Attacking midfield, pace, power, good decision making with an eye for goal. That's what I'm talking about. If he can stay injury free coz he's very prone to injuries, then he'll be the perfect replacement for Salah @Liverpool. He's been fit for an extended period now and playing at a first class level. Neto is the man but 💰💰💰💰 |
hensben: ![]() Street won't forget Nigeria Vs Brazil when Denmark was the real opponent But this right here is among those street won't forget moment. He saw the future and jinxed us multiple times. Could this be the reason we lost? ![]() |
BlaqFaze:Chief I'm not arguing with you. I was just surprised that you advocated for such a defensive liability to start at the biggest stage. The current eagles setup thrives on defensive football and Moses offers more on tha regard. In terms of the attacking aspect of the game, Chukuweze is not doing better than Simon too. In fact, Moses has been better in every department. For both players, I think Chukuweze is more promising and alot more talented and technical but hardwork beats talent if talent does not work hard. I reiterate there's no cause for debate. We were outplayed and lost fair and square but Chukuweze starting wasn't the solution even though we scored with him on the pitch. The pressing and defensive stability was lost right from the first minute. Maldini was extremely upset when Milan bought Chukuweze that's what I saw in the news but I don't know how true! |
BlaqFaze:There you have it and he started One of the reason Eagles lost . Comfam passenger. I read in the news that Maldini was very upset when Milan bought him. Seems like he's a useless player....I don't know but it seem like ![]() |
BlueMann:Lol After Senegal scored, the level of disrespect towards that guy really amused me. You'll think Senegal were like 4 goals up in the first 3 mins. Sad day for Nigerians/Eagles but CIV dominated and won. Deserve winners for me. We go again next year though... |
Xavi isn't better than Koeman... Koeman is miles ahead in just about everything except getting unnecessary card on the touch line. See as we dey play like who no get coach ![]() He can't leave fast enough. Kai..... |
Arsenal sha lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Kimbeast:Two truths can coexist. Neverkusen are having a great season, yes. Tuchel's Bayern can replicate that and have a similar season. Their squad is far better than that of Neverkusen no? Meanwhile, I don't think there's a need to bring team Pep here. Imagine Pep being 5 points behind in a league you call Bayernliga. Kovak was having an abysmal season, Flick took over and delivered the treble. The coach is the "P" Although Tuchel may improve and eventually win the league because I don't trust Neverkusen but for now, I mean right now, the problem of FC Bayern Munchen is the ineptitude of TooKle! |
User09:He's not doing well with the eye test. His last stint at Chelsea was not good enough and rightly got him sacked.. He's currently playing disjointed football and Bayern fans can't wait to see his back. Stats may be good but he's currently not doing well chief. |
User09:There's no recency bias, Tuchel, like Mourinho used to be great but not anymore. That's not too hard to see. Tuchel was out of his dept in his last season here and was rightly axed. But you don't sack a coach like Tuchel and appoint a nobody like Potter. That was the mistake Chelsea made. May be it's just me but what I can deduce from your write up is that you're just slightly echoing what afrodk said. He used to rate him(Tuchel) but not anymore. Playing with fear as a top coach is a sackable offense. Tuchel is currently inept and like those before him, will be sacked if results don't improve! |
Omoluabi16: ![]() You simply don't know what you're saying lol. No, it'll be something if Neverkusen wins this. They're called Neverkusen for a reason but I get your point though. Indeed they're currently playing like they could win it but I still don't trust them! |
Omoluabi16:Bayern will still win this league. My money is on them! ![]() |
pkasso: ![]() Dier failed the test woefully....Dier is not a good player. Even as a backup, he's simply not good enough for their ambitions. I'm surprised Bayern went for him. I think Bayern should return him 2moro and sign Troost Ekong instead ![]() Meanwhile, why Zubimendi?? Where's Goretzka?? Where's Goretzka Pkasso. Justice for Lord/Maestro Goretzka. |
TooKle is so inept...kai |
FirstbornWds:We can't forget world class Sterling and Ake helping with the dominance. Cheque book manager for a reason. He just bought Savio from Girona too. Comfam cheque book man. But when them give other managers cheque na 11th or 10th them dey fight for. |
swiz123:He was brilliant today. Gave like two to three line breakers.... |
Ibukzy: ![]() Talk about delusions. Pure football must mean dancing Makossa! |
DJ Khaled! |
popizaino:....ok and Madrid! ![]() |
Liverpool are currently the best team in world football. They'll roast just about any team except City. If they were in the UCL, the top dogs will avoid them like plaque. Meanwhile, I see Chelsea winning. They do well against BIG TEAMS! ![]() |
Beverlyjean:You're wise! |
hensben: ![]() He saw the future, what a man. Respect!!! |
![]() Corps Liaison Officer (CLO) did well @PPA...nice one CIV. |
Ibime:Senegal were in trouble the moment they allowed CIV to come into the game in the first half. CIV are odds on to win now! |
![]() Corps Liaison Officer (CLO) doing well @1:1 Game wey for be 10:0... African football sha ![]() |
CAPdan21:They're very serious and want to win so bad.... What's happening here is that ivory coast grew into the game and if they continue like this, I see them scoring... |
Unlimited22:You basically just described Drogba...Like Salah, Drogba won no spoon in Africa. Two runner up medals for him. Runner up....Drogba...2006, 2012 Runner up....Salah...2017, 2021. Both non entities in African football according to you! But as Drogba no make the list sha so you may be right ![]() |
swiz123: ![]() |
raumdeuter:It's difficult for people to understand but the fact is that Okocha was not a top player but a great entertainer. Top players don't play for Qatar Sc, Hull city, Bolton, Frankfurt etc. Prime Okaocha was playing like he's in Africa playing monkey post; Dribble, lose the ball, act like senior man, scream for the ball, get it, dribble, lose it. The circle continued. No top coach then or now is starting Okocha unless he adapts his game and act more professional on the pitch. People will talk about his flair, occasional freekicks, leg work etc. But Jay jay was a huge liability on the pitch! |
Leyqute:It's no more a stalemate ![]() Seems they drank 4! |
