I'd finally start giving Huawei their due recognition. The P20 Pro/Mate RS family is a beast line. Blew the smithereens off DXOMark. And that dual FP implementation is just... I've got no words.

-Lord Huawei really nailed those phones albeit a photocopy from its look. I havent seen it's DxOmark reviews tho but the camera seems to be interesting. Huawei need originality then they can move more forward as P10 of last year was a copy of iPhone 7 while the P20 Pro is a copy of Essential notch and iPhone X back. EMUI is also a copy of iOS, they really need originality. Mate Rs is pretty sleek, got two finger print scanners. Embedded and at the rear while having the huge porshe design Signature on the front. How else would people know your phone cost over 2k bucks? It's still gonna be a niche product tho. Huawei and Google are the companies that can keep Apple and Samsung on their toes. I'm dead sure these three firms would go back to the drawing board In order to release beasts by summer whike Huawei will be waiting for them with the Mate 20 family |

alBHAGDADI: It is not applicable in Quran cos quran doesn't say such. I've read the chapter I quoted and nowhere does it imply that it was a parable no it has a context. See the verse and its preceding verses to see what I mean.
Quran chapter 3
148. So Allah gave them the reward of this world, and the excellent reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers - see the footnote of V.3:134).
149. O you who believe! If you obey those who disbelieve, they will send you back on your heels, and you will turn back (from Faith) as losers.
150. Nay, Allah is your Maula (Patron, Lord, Helper and Protector, etc.), and He is the Best of helpers.
151. We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allah, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers).
152. And Allah did indeed fulfil His Promise to you when you were killing them (your enemy) with His Permission; until (the moment) you lost your courage and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed after He showed you (of the booty) which you love. Among you are some that desire this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then He made you flee from them (your enemy), that He might test you. But surely, He forgave you, and Allah is Most Gracious to the believers.
153. (And remember) when you ran away (dreadfully) without even casting a side glance at anyone, and the Messenger (Muhammad) was in your rear calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital to teach you not to grieve for that which had escaped you, nor for that which had befallen you. And Allah is Well-Aware of all that you do. Imagine the bolded. So it is strayed that the Bible is parables right? The logic can never work for the Quran. It doesn't suit your narrative . |

alBHAGDADI: Here you go again. Didn't I tell you that such were commandments of Moses? Read the previous and preceeding verses.
Numbers 31:14-17
14 Moses was angry with the officers of the army—the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds—who returned from the battle. 15 “Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. 16 “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the Lord in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people. 17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.
Moses was in the era of the LAW. We Christians aren't under that. As for the second verse which you quoted from the new testament, an era of grace. That was Jesus speaking and He was simply telling a parable.
Luke 19:11-27
11 While they were listening to this, he went on to tell them a parable, because he was near Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once. 12 He said: “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to have himself appointed king and then to return. 13 So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas.[a] ‘Put this money to work,’ he said, ‘until I come back.’ 14 “But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We don’t want this man to be our king.’ 15 “He was made king, however, and returned home. Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it. 16 “The first one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned ten more.’ 17 “‘Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.’ 18 “The second came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has earned five more.’ 19 “His master answered, ‘You take charge of five cities.’ 20 “Then another servant came and said, ‘Sir, here is your mina; I have kept it laid away in a piece of cloth. 21 I was afraid of you, because you are a hard man. You take out what you did not put in and reap what you did not sow.’ 22 “His master replied, ‘I will judge you by your own words, you wicked servant! You knew, did you, that I am a hard man, taking out what I did not put in, and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Why then didn’t you put my money on deposit, so that when I came back, I could have collected it with interest?’ 24 “Then he said to those standing by, ‘Take his mina away from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’ 25 “‘Sir,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’ 26 “He replied, ‘I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. 27 But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.’”
Except you want to say you don't know what a parable is. Ofcourse I was expecting you to write tales and insert parables inside it. Did you read further the line you quoted? Did you think it could be parable too? No. These logics can't be used for the Quran, it's ONLY meant for the Bible |

xerxes456: let me just take some time to highlight somethings for you per adventure you'll understand.
1. The Bible is not just a book of instructions, it's a story time line of events, withing these events God shows how he dealt with people withing those timeliness.
2. The major time line division is the Old and New Testaments, the world Testament is like a compendium of testimonies, or what we can refer today as " documentaries".
3. The Old Testament has old principles and practices and in our time such practices are still adhered to buy core Jews (they can be called the Judaist etc) but there's so much lessons to be learned from the old Testament.
4. The New Testament talks more about Jesus Christ his birth, Death and resurrection, his teachings and teachings of his Deciples, remember I talked of time lines, the new Testament is a different time line from the old testament
5. Finally Christians as the name implies "Small Christ" are followers of Jesus Christ and his teaching, we read the Old Testament and learn from them, but we follow Christ teaching in our daily lives.
Jesus Christ summarised the entire old Testament and came up with a better covenant, ( a better agreement between God and man, and a better way by which God is dealing with man) all those laws of the old Testaments were summarised to just one thing, LOVE... so all those passages you've been quoting are just lessons and not what we live by, it's just like showing people how 1950 cars were designed and driving a 2018 Mercedes.. Bros no b the same thing... Usual nonsense. Isn't the Quran also a book of events that happened and stories et al? You find a way to exonerate the Bible but same logic can't be used for the Quran. Bigotry and hypocrisy at its peak |

alBHAGDADI: Are you an illiterate?
The laws of Moses are not the Old testament. They are just a fragment of it. The old testament contains stories of events before the time of Jesus Christ. If we discard it, how can we now know what happened before?
Pls, understand before you comment. By the way, you have failed to counter my arguments. I guess you have accepted defeat. If not, then explain the quran verse. Pure nonsense as usual. The Bible is called Old Testament which entails everything. But a cherry picker is says some parts are old testament while some aren't. What you wrote didn't come from the Quran. alBHAGDADI: WOW!
You didn't even address my post, you just rushed to misquote the Bible again. Well, I will explain those verses for you.
Israel was a nation that God was using to reach out to the rest of the World. He had to keep them pure while the rest of the world were under satan's grip. That was why Moses gave those Laws which were the national Laws of the land of Israel just as Nigeria has its own. Many of such laws states that an eye for an eye, which means you can take revenge for whatever anyone does to you. But the law was weak and temporary, that's why Moses and all the other prophets always spoke of a perfection to come which is Jesus.
When Jesus came, what happened? Such laws started losing their value. That woman accused of adultery who ought to have been stoned was set free by Jesus. He made them see that they are sinful too and should be a judge. He went on to preach forgiveness of those that offend you instead of the an eye for an eye which Moses passed as law. Imagine if you take revenge cos someone hurt you, what do you think will happen when you hurt someone too?
Those laws in the old testament have all been set aside cos they have lived their time. We are now in the era of grace, which means if you leave Christianity, we will not kill you but pray for you to come back. Or have you seen Christians kill apostates before?
Now, can you kindly explain this quran verse for us?
Sahih Bukhari (52:260) - "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " Is those laws have been set aside, Why do you still quote proverbs, Isaiah, Malachi, Pslam, Deuteronomy et al? |

alBHAGDADI: Everytime the Bible is misquoted by a Muslim on Nairaland, you immediately find a Christi8an explain it to everyone's understanding. But when the Quran is quoted the exact way it is to be understood, you Muslims claim one can't understand it yet you say Allah made quran easy to understand. You immediately start referring one to links of long articles written by islamic scholars. You mean one can't understand quran without Islamic scholars?
Now, explain this verse to us without referring us to Islaic scholars and their Taqiyya.
Sahih Bukhari (52:260) - "...The Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' " You see how hypocritical and sentimental you are with the emboldened. The Quran is quoted the way it should but the Bible is always wrongly quoted. Now, explain this verse to us Deuteronomy 13:6-9 "If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying: Let us go and worship other gods (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other, or gods of other religions), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people."
Deuteronomy 17:3-5 "And he should go and worship other gods and bow down to them or to the sun or the moon or all the army of the heavens, .....and you must stone such one with stones and such one must die."

alBHAGDADI: The below picture came with this post of yours. I've seen Muslims use it a lot on Facebook thinking it gives them a better argument against Christianity, but it doesn't. They just don't understand what they quote. Now, let me explain it to you.
We all know the story of Moses and the burning Bush and we know it was God inside the Bush speaking to Moses. Even the Quran which plagiarized the Bible has the story as well. The Quran says Allah spoke from the burning bush. This means Allah took the form of a bush to speak to Moses. Why do Muslims now find it difficult to believe that God who took the form of a burning Bush will find it difficult to take on Human form? He Has done it before when He appeared to Abraham in Genesis 18. Abraham gave Him water to wash His feet and also food which he ate. Read the entire chapter to see all of that. Before that, He use to walk with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. So, becoming a man is not something too big for my God to do.
Now, the verses in the picture states that no man can die for the sins of another. That's hundred percent correct. But God can. That's why it was possible for Jesus Christ who was God in flesh. Had it been it was an ordinary man, He would have given up or fallen to the juicy temptations of satan. But He was God.
Do you now understand that you have misunderstood the verses below? The bible is always MISUNSERSTOOD but not the quran |

alBHAGDADI: Jesus fell on his face to pray, the verse didn't say he was doing so repeatedly like you muslims do. I can chose to bow when pray, fall on my face or even stand. However I chose to position doesn't prevent my prayers from being answered. But you Muslims have to bow facing that black stone shaped like a vagina in mecca. Did Jesus face that direction when he fell on his face? No
Was it that direction he faced when he looked into heaven and prayed? No.
Can a Muslim pray without facing Mecca? No
Why? cos that's where their Idol is. Great men before Jesus fell on their faces multiple times to pray. They removed their shoes when they reached clean places. Do Christians remove shoes to pray besides C&S and CCC? “For every nation there is a direction to which they face (in their prayers). So hasten towards all that is good. Wheresoever you may be, God will bring you together (on the Day of Resurrection). Truly, God is Able to do all things. And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Mecca), that is indeed the truth from your Lord. And God is not unaware of what you do.” (Quran 2:148-149) One Religion, One People, One God The hypocrisy, hatred and bigotry in you will eat your life up someday..
