Apple A11 chip has been the king of antutu benchmark since it's realse crushing all other Android phones by miles, but in real life the iPhone X is not the fastest. Now when Samsung released the exynos version of the song plus it beat the iPhone 10 in antutu, but reviews from YouTube have shown that the exynos version of the song plus is not even faster than the snapdragon 845 version.

So the point is benchnarks do not provide real life usage.

Comparing OnePlus 5t face unlock to Apple's face id is just like convenience vs security. One plus 5t face unlock is not secure even OnePlus said it themselves that it's just an additional security. Yes it's very fast but that's because it just scans the face using only the front facing camera. It can easily be spoofed unlike the iPhone x that uses series of sensors to scan the eyes. Face id is not slow per say, just that it requires swiping after unlocking, not as fast as oneplus 5t though.

U also know OnePlus 5t face unlock is almost useless in low light while face id still works.

And where have I ever said nothing is comparable to Apple? They make good products but have their flaws and are too arrogant.

You're right about the design. But Samsung wasn't always the looks champion when they were tipping the scales. Maybe with time, Huawei would become more original and creative in the design department. If we could give Samsung the benefit of a doubt, why not Huawei.

The Samsung Note line is a niche product as well.

I'm not saying Huawei now tops my list of preferable brands or I'd recommend their phones more than others; I'm just saying they've moved from my blind spot to the periphery of my FOV. And that I'd begin to give them due recognition.

They still need to smoothen a lot of things out. The fragmentation in their lineup; specifically the feature set. The pricing. The design. Heck even the EMIUI. But if they keep up with what they just did with the P20 Pro and Mate RS, and then work on those aforementioned kinks; then yea, it'd be hard to ignore them when it appears that the leaders Apple and Samsung have taken their foot off the gas.

I still don't think Huawei and Google would pile pressure on Samsung and Apple. They may take some market share, but ultimately, they're working towards the same business model--charging more for less.

Yh I agree with you. You should as they are doing everything possible to win hearts of people with their products. They are a large company already so anything is possible but the issue with USA is a big problem for them as that market is very important and it defines some other markets too.

I don't think Samsung have taken their foot off the gas though they need to re imagine the Note line up as it's now pretty predictable. I think they are preparing a game changer for their 10th anniversary which will go inline with their UI naming convention as the present one is S.E 9.

Google will pile pressure to Samsung and Apple in the USA market while Huawei will do that in the European and Asian markets.

It's gonna be an interesting summer. I'm looking forward to Pixel 3 and Mate 20
