You have a problem with any body that preaches hate but you have never spoken against any Muslim group that actually carries out hate crimes. You have never preached against Boko Haram, ISIS and Muslims that kill Christians in the name of Allah.

There is the argument that ISI is a private institution, but even if it is public, that's the more reason religion should be avoided and separated from the school. What is the purpose of a mosque, church, Temple, shrine in a public school? Are you people training imams or religious scholars? You are not fighting to have better classrooms, you are not protesting for well equipped library, ICT centres or laboratories, you are ready to commit suicide and murder for hijab and mosque in a public school. Does that make sense?

Religion in politics, which is an explosive mix.
Namadi sambo said during campaign in the north that Buhari/Oshibajo wants to christianize Nigerian. It's all politics

This is not the topic at hand today. The topic is the impropriety of having hijabs, mosques, churches, and other religious insignias in public schools.

I am not just a Christian but one with a difference. I am grounded in the word of God and there is nothing you and your likes can say that I don't have a genuine answer to. Even if your prophet wakes up and confront me I will beat him hands down.

No joke grin

Despite the fact that that you are senseless. I will still answer you

Proverbs 26:4-5

5: Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

I am following the two instructions, so when I don't answer you again, don't think you have won. It is just for you not to rub your foolishnesses on me. because Madness is contagious. grin

** Jesus is the Son of God and The Lord .
*** God is God and the Lord
* Husbands and bosses are both referred to as lords

In the Bible Lord is used both for God and Jesus.

Lord is also used by the Jews according to their culture for their Husbands and Bosses. (Culture)

So it is your common sense that should be able to discern which of the Lords referred to.

Example;

Genesis 4:9
And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper? ( The Lord referring to God)

Psalms 110:1
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
( David writing says the Lord said to my Lord) two Lords. Meaning God Jehovah said to my Lord Jesus.

1 Peter 3:6
Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
( Sarah calling her husband Abraham Lord). Their culture.

So now what are you driving at?

Have you stopped to ask why Lawyers call the Judge my Lord? Your madness won't allow you.

Are the Lawyers referring to God or Jesus.

When you Muslims come up with arguments you always leave your senses behind.

Now I have answered you so that you won't think you are wise in your foolishness.

I am ignoring you now also so that I won't be like you.

I wonder if you are not a drop out. Half educated mofo

Do you even know the meaning of Christians?

Followers of Christ. That is the meaning

Jesus never ever taught us killing of anyone not even ppl that are killing us. That is why he said turn the other Cheek.

The verse you quote was one of the laws of Moses. Not an instruction of Christ.

We are not called Moses followers but Christ followers.

When Jesus was asked if it was lawful to divorce one's wife according to what Moses told the Israelites, He said " Moses because of your hard hearts told you this but in the beginning it was not so"

Moses was a prophet and a human who when doing his job acted out of his human senses. And not the mind of God.

Jesus who is the Son of God came with the message of peace.

That is why your demonic provocations are taken with peace. If we respond same way your prophet taught you, the world would be in total Chaos by now.

Now your madness has been exposed once again.

kayjay69:
Sir, you have a case about the Pentecostal faith but it could be a coincidence. I think all of the uproar we see and feel about religion is mainly because of our politics. Our politics and it's principal actors have resorted to any means to ensure they win. They won't lose sleep over inciting one group against the other. For example, the outgoing Gov of Osun State Ogbeni Rauf during his campaign for 2nd term was on record to have said that in a certain muslim dominated town, they should not vote for Omisore cos he would Christianise them even though we know Omisore is only a paper based Christian
Ofcourse it goes both ways, Christian candidates will say same about muslim opponents too. We abandon the real issue and go after sentiment. One can sort of link this ISI issue to Osun State when Ogbeni Aregbe came into power. When a Muslim Governor uses govt power to enforce certain rules seen to be all about Muslims, whether right or wrong, the perception (from the Christian viewpoint) is that he was trying to turn those schools into a Muslim leaning school. I disagreed with his approach and I also disagreed with some of the things CAN said. The problem with these kind of things is that they set a precedence for worse things to come. Govt shouldn't be seen as tacitly backing anyone religion over another, Govt should ensure there's fair play among all religions even in states where one religion has an overwhelming majority. Public schools and places of work should be as secular as possible. Prayers shouldn't be said at all (I could say Pray in Christian and Islamic faith but then again who knows if we will have a Hindu, a Buddhist, a Jew and a traditionalist among the students). Students can pray before coming to school, God answers all prayers we need not over petition him. What we should strive for is a society that projects fairness in all cos I really fear Nigeria as a whole has been built upon too much injustice.
I honestly couldn't agree more about organised religion, it is sad to admit that it has done more to separate than to unite us. But we must aim to rise above all these. Again sir, these are my views. Hijab use is harmless I agree but I fear the precedence this may set. I don't fear it as a Christian, I fear it more as a concerned citizen who simply wishes we would focus our energies in uplifting ourselves as a people. My viewpoint based on my upbringing has always been that, I am first Yoruba first before i am christian. I continue to hold onto this. Thank you for your insights, I appreciate your time and even though it took a while I now understand your viewpoint better than initially.
I have problem with any person or body that preaches hate, bigotry and intolerance. Unfortunately, it can easily be found in Pentecostalism. Could you state what Aregbe did when he came to power in Osun state which correlates with this discourse?

ISI is government school financed by tax payers from every reigion in the land, so Muslims have the right to demand for Mosque. I can also bet that this same school has more than one Christian centre(Chapel, Church etc).

It's completely wrong for Aregbe to have said that but mind you this politics of religion has always been utilised by Politicians and religious leaders. Some pastors have bluntly told their congregation not to vote for Buhari because he wants to Islamize Nigeria.

The first thing i would strip Nigeria off if i had the power is religion. I would rather us worship the gods of the land than some alien gods from middle east.

Sincerely I am not aware that Muslim students are made to sing Christian songs in some of these public schools and I condemn it. No one student should be made to do that. But that doesn't justify what is happening in ISI. The two are wrong and need to be addressed. I am a Christian but I have several relatives who are Muslims and I hail from the SW part of Nigeria. You are very correct to say that SWesterners despite our various religious persuasion, by and large live in harmony. But I tell you with facts that we have our hidden differences, hidden discrimination on the basis on religion. Are you aware that in certain Muslim dominated cities such as Ilorin (though not all but some parts) I cannot purchase land because I am a Christian? I'll assume it is similar for heavily Christian populated areas too. Both are not right yet both are happening and we pretend that we are ONE as Yorubas. Goto some cities such as Iwo and Ede and identify publicly as Christian, see how you will be treated. My point is despite what we choose to say we are divided in the SW along religious lines, the cracks are there. Maybe not divided enough to kill one another and God forbid that will ever happen cos I love my people but divided enough to screw ourselves over. This ISI thing just shows how divided we are. And I'll maintain that Hijab wearing is a non-issue. We can talk about forcing students to sing Christian songs, that is wrong. We can talk about harressment based on religious affinity, that is also wrong. But this is a non-issue.
And yes I attend a Pentecostal church but I don't agree that they are the cause of the above stated. They may be aggressive in the way they push their agenda sometimes but please take note they have never forced any one to do anything. And I am astute enough to know that my loyalty lies with my people first then my religion but when we choose to push our individual agendas u can imagine what then happens. And believe me sir, I am a very moderate Christian. I believe in fairness but I also believe that we as a people ought to let go of minor things and focus on major ones. We should choose our battles wisely else we end up isolating our true friends.

Imagine if these parents were to use this protest to champion better welfare for teachers, improved learning conditions for all and what have you. That would be a real issue. You know why? This if attained in the slightest, may well set us (the Yoruba tribe, Nigerians and the black race) on the course for some type of greatness. But Hijab wearing, while I understand maybe important to some, is not a real issue and that's my view.
You made salient points and i quite applaud you. You wrote completely different from your fellow christian counterparts which gives me hope that one day Nigeria will be stripped of religion(oh yes, religion is a disaster).

I don't know your age but in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s Nigerians weren't divided alongside religious line. Heck even in 1992 election, Muslim Muslim ticket won the presidentail election before it was cancelled. God help you project a Muslim Muslim ticket now if bigoted people won't scream about Islamization agenda. Nigerians in schools care less about what song was sang or what not, they sang all the way. During Christmas and Easter, Muslims feasted with their Christians friends and Christians feasted with the Muslims friends during Sallah and Eid. All these happened when Pentecoatlism wasn't in existence or perhaps just very little presence.

All these have changed since every street has several number of Pentecostal churches each with his doctrine and most of their doctrines are selfish ones. They hate Catholic, Anglican, CCC, CAC, C&S, Islam and even their fellow Pentecostal churches. Have you thought about this at all? Have you asked yourself what changed when you were young living among your Muslim friends partying and always expecting holidays like tomorrow to come forth so you can party hard but suddenly you pastor tells you they are bad people and you believed him then you began preaching your own hate speeches. I knew you would be a member of a Pentecostal church.

If you guys win your fight to allow Hijab, I believe it won't stop there and you know exactly what I am talking about. Personally, I don't consider hijab wearing to be offensive but the ripple effect of what others choose to do may well bring that school grinding to a halt. What if others choose to don their various religious regalia in the name of equality, decency and moral whatever, won't we all laugh it off as a school turning into a circus? Like I said, there are bigger issues that I'd have loved these parents to address but it seems you are hellbent on Hijab wearing as a means to furthering your cause. More power to you guys.
Does wearing of Hijab affect you, or the students? Has wearing of Hijab ever affected anybody? They have been wearing it since god knows when and it was never a problem. Do you know what a public school is? These schools pray in christian ways, sing christian songs among others but these are fine because you are a Christian but wearing of hijab is wrong. Yet, you claim to be tolerant.

N.B I'm not a Muslim. I respect all the 4000 gods on earth. I respect the old gods and new. I respect everybody regardless of which gods you serve or godless but hypocrisy, intolerance and bigotry are what i hate then expect me to come right at you if you posses any of these attributes.

I have zero hatred for Islam, my family background is mixed. But I have zero tolerance for bigotry and I believe that everyone should accept laws that are laid down everywhere. Wearing Hijab is a non issue, it doesn't infringe on your right as a Muslim. If a school is forcing Muslim students to say a Christian prayer or trying to convert them against their own will that is different and should be addressed.
Bros if we all decide to clamour for what we want on the basis of our religion u think this country and SW Nigeria won't erupt in flames? It's easy for you to say blah blah blah but are you looking further down the road to see where this leads to? Are you even concerned how this will be perceived by people of other religious persuasions? I already know the answer so don't bother responding.
Christians are far from flawless but atleast some of us are'nt hypocritical and we are not hiding behind the garb of things like hijab to push our main agenda. You preach alot of tolerance but can you take half of what you give to others? Again no need to respond cos judging by your comments I already know where you stand.
Has any govenrment school been addressed on the bolded? Do you see the Muslims complaining about it? Infant most muslims learnt how to sing christian songs based on this and it's fine. Hijab has been worn in these schools before you and i came to this world but it's suddenly a problem.

Have you asked yourself, how Muslims have received going to work on Fridays when Sundays are free? Are you even concerned that Muslims are made to pray in Christian ways in Government schools? It's not an issue with you since it suits your narrative but when it doesn't then you begin screaming ontop of your lungs.

Speaking of tolerance, you should look in the mirror my friend. You can accept half of what the Muslims have accepted and still accept in a volatile nation like Nigeria. Lastly, for donkey years all these issues never came to birth because generally south-westerners have mixed religions and lived happily until the birth and rising nature of Pentecostal churches and i can swear with my balls, you attend one

CCC, C&S, Catholic, Anglican et al in South West would hard preach hate speech and they have been with us for god knows how long but all these changed when Pentecostalism arrived South West.

The school you refer to, please who built it originally? I'll refer you to read on how Christianity was spread in SW Nigeria specifically and Nigerians in general. Also while you are at it, look up (under any metric) what the standard of education was when Christians were in control and what it is now that the Govt has taken over.
So my question is this, if there were schools built by Islamic Missionaries that had a mosque and was then later run by Govt, will Christians be clamouring for a Church to be built inside those schools? Please point out any one instance where this has happened in SW Nigeria?

The truth is you Muslims in the SW especially sees the average Christian as a threat to your way of life but sincerely asides evangelizing and preaching Christianity (which is not by force to accept), I am yet to see how we Christians pose any threat whatsoever to Muslims and their way of life. We both know the Hijab issue with ISI is only a front, if the school body gives in I know for sure that several more protests such as this will be launched across SW Nigeria. And it won't stop there, Muslims won't probably be satisfied until they basically change the name of the school. But my question is, to what end? Is it to get back at Christians? To stick it to them? To show that you have the powers of persuasion? This is a non issue and you know it. To prevent students from wearing Hijab to school may not be an attack on your precious religion, what if it is an attack on the school itself and it's core values. And you guys should just accept, not everyone or everything will give in to you. Some will, Some won't, it's not by force, just take what you are given and run with it. You don't like the school, withdraw the students and put them in Islamic established Private schools or in other private schools where the use of Hijab is tolerated, if that is more important to you than the knowledge to be imparted in the child.
Who is running the British Grammer school? The missionaries? Why hatred for Islam killed your brains, if you buy a company. Won't you run the company based on your own mission and vision? Who is financing the School? Every Nigerian regardless of the religion is financing the School but a bigot like you don't want the Muslims to clamour for a Mosque in which is financed by them amongts others.

why should Muslims demand for a mosque inside a school? Is the school an Islamic learning centre? if Muslims demand for mosques inside secondary schools, christians should also demand for Church inside all government schools, so also shrines for Ifa worshipers, Amadioha worshipers and others.

The Irony is that in the 80's i attended a federal government school in Sokoto, and non of theses issues ever came up. There were no churches, Mosques or shrines in the school. Every went to worship outside the school. All the churches then was on Ahmadu Bello Way, which was at the centre of town. There was so much religious harmony in the school then.

Muslims promote far more violence than any other religion, in fact i can say no and i mean no Muslim dominated country is without violence, with the exception of a few moderate Islamic states like U.A.E, Qatar and Bahrain.
Is there church in the same school? Yes, but you don't want mosque to be there yet it's a government school. I can also bet there more more churches, Catholic and Pentecoastal but it's a crime for mosque to bs built on such a ground. You guys are bunch of selfish intolerant mofos.

I can say no Christian dominated country is without violence. Just within October to November, three christian terrorists named Ian Long, Robert Bowers and Cesar Sayoc killed people in the USA. I guess it shouldn't be talked about since they are christians

Go to Iree in Osun where Iree Poly is situated. These people fought and fought until they built a mosque on the Baptist Grammar School compound. They claim that the Christian Students have a chapel. A chapel that was built with the school in 1956 or 58 when the school was built by the missionaries.

They claim that their children too need a mosque to worship.

There was a serious fight for almost a year until the King had to beg the Baptist Convention to give them a portion to build their mosque.

When the land was given they built one jagajaga mosque there ( you know they don't have taste before now) After about a year they without consulting the School authority expanded the portion given to them with a new Fence and after doing that they rented part of it to one of their members for a Car Wash. Right in front of a Christian School.

The question is Can this fools allow a Christian Fellowship Center to be built on the land of a Muslim school like Anwar-Islam of Anwar- deen .

If you doubt my claim go to Iree in Osun state the school is on the major road , ask of Baptist Grammar school and right in front of it is the Mosque.

Islam is the major weapon the Devil will finally use to destroy this world.
Keep quiet and quit writing like an illiterate that you are. The school was built by missionaries donkey years ago, are the missionaries still managing the school? Isn't it tax payer's money the government use in maintaining the school? Aren't Muslims also tax payers?

The school is now a government property and the Muslims have every right to demand for the mosque. While writing this lengthy bigoted comment, you didn't include the part that christian songs are sang on the assembly ground, students are enforced to learn those songs and other christian activities. But this is fine since it fits your narrative and Christianity isn't devlish and selfish

Isn't it supposed to be a Government school?
Isn't a Government school supposed to be fair to all religions in the land and yes(traditionalists too)?

Shove your hatred down your dirty as.shole.

Incase you don't know, Christianity is the weapon because it promote violence and terrorism

Lesson for all -
If you want to have peace in your life and your community: Live as far away from head-slammers as possible.
Well you are right, one need to move away from head slammers, those who gods who slammed their heads and those who hail those that slams their heads

When it comes to religious activities members from both religions will protest but you will never see them protest against bad governance.

Are Nigerians cursed?
Are they religiously blind that they don't want to experience a good life till they die?

Aptly put. Most of these so called Christians and Muslims are hell bound(if it exist). Love and tolerance trumps all but in Nigeria they hate each other. Traditionalists doesn't even discriminate as much are these ret.arded members of these faiths do yet they are the good guys

The iPhone 6s with 2gb ram will beat a lot of 2017-2018 android phones on speed test..it's the synergy between the hardware and software that makes iphones unique..but you won't know this because you're set on hating the product..the iPhone 5s of 2014 still got updates in 2018(that's 4 solid years and counting)..can the galaxy s6 boast of the same thing? Can the s7?
You simply have difficulties understanding my points hence the reason you didn't address any of them. Every phone is fast and opening apps 2 seconds faster isn't a feature..

OS support is great but quit deceiving yourself about old phones receiving new updates. They are barebones because the hardware isn't capable enough and the update settings only change to the new name/OS version.

Even though the S7 isn't updated anymore, the features on the phone is more than the features on iPhone 8 which arrived a year after it.

You're a known iPhone hater..even though I gave brownie points to the note9 you still managed to infuse your bias towards iphones..abegi!
This isn't a hate.

Can the iPhone X have S pen features of the note?
Isn't Samsung phone on Oreo feature packed already?
Aren't 50 % features of Pie already on Samsung flagships?
The iPhone X has 3GB ram, how will it be more future proof against a Note 9 with 8 GB ram?
PhonesRe: Iphone X And Galaxy Note 9. Which Is Better? by ollah2: 2:39pm On Nov 17, 2018
AkpaMgbor:
The note 9 has the biggest battery among the top phones..it's also efficient in power consumption like the iPhone X....go for the note if battery is your top priority, th iPhone X will comfortably last you the entire day but it won't go more than the note9...keep in mind that the iPhone X will be supported longer than the note9 and therefore more future proof.
Longer support doesn't mean future proof. Samsung running Oreo can do 50% features on Pie. It shows how feature packed Samsung flagships already are.

Iphone X can't get the complete features of Note even if it runs IOS 20.
