Let's Leave the AliExpress and Nigeria comparisons out of these when it involves hardware. I have personally helped people order/buy these phones(Redmi 7 and Note 7) from Jumia and no issues for over 2 months now.

Ok, so far Redmi 7 delivered the best performance it can offer for that price. I'm using gcam working perfectly, bar3 usage is ok especially when you're within the area that network is perfect. Screen under direct sunlight is fantastic. Get it and enjoy everything about the phone.

Once you're on Android 9 with latest system update, I think u should be able to get it. You can go to settings display and locate it.
