OlohiA: my sister eat your okro soup well well, it has got nothing to do with TTC, was told same thing but me can't do without Okro soup so I turned deaf ears to such advice and it didn't stop me conceiving.

dbeauty: buy as much as u want if u can, I did same thing,bought clothes, feeders, flask, I even bought baby carrier, shawls, not up to 3months God picked my call and so right now I don't have much to buy except the hospital list. Just do it in faith.

So..today was the christening of a friend's baby. She has been married for so many years but God has taken away her sorrows..Today she is a mother..

Also read the news of Tejubabyface and his wife welcoming their first children (a set of twins) after waiting for almost 6 years..God is still in the business of giving children and one after the other He will give every one of us in this thread our children. And it won't be long.

So.. I was in a store 2 days ago to get few things for someone who recently had a baby and I lost track of time awwwing and ahhhhing at cute adorable clothes for babies.. they are so adorable and beautiful.. The attendants ehn. They kept indulging me o..bringing cute little stuff I never knew babies had. I think I will be that kind of momma who would buy anything cute I sight at a baby shop just to awwww over it...even tho I might not even need it o ...

Anyways..I ended up buying for my babies this cute looking overall with socks to match.. And then I noticed baby diapers o... all the brands were there...

I have been thinking about diapers since that day o...So this voice in my head keep telling me to go buy diapers and store at home because nine months from now, the prices would have gone up o.. is this normal..lol.Make una help me.

Mehn, babies have a lot of cute stuffs. I'm obsessed. Lol

OlohiA the okra story is not quite true. The part of okra that is bad for sperm count is the base/butt of the okra which we do not eat.

Pls mamas, I have a question. I have been hearing conflicting stories about okra not being good for people TTC especially with male issues, as that's what's our diagnosis. I'm really confused here. We've not had okra soup for over year now. Stopped eating when we heard about it.

Oya everybody come out from the silence mood I want to share my testimony...

After 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic pregnancy, 4years of waiting. God remembered me just like that.

God has given me a supernatural conception when the doctor said my only option to have my own children is through IVF or adoption bcs my fallopian tubes were really damaged and one tube removed due to the ectopic pregnancy in 2013.

God has showed himself mightly in my life, I am a living proof that God still gives miracle babies. The Lord has broken the curse of barreness in my life.

We are 15weeks already.

God is great, hold on to God words and promises, he will definitely answer everyone.

Miracle still happens.

#i didn't do anything different, I fed my soul and womb with God's word.

I have gotten my BFP, God is awesome. I confirmed it on Tuesday but waited before announcing because my DH wasn't around but he came back yesterday and we didn't sleep because of excitement and we stayed up to appreciate this wonderful gift God has bestowed upon us. Please my sabi mama's help me appreciate this God because he is too good to us.

I decree and declare multitudes of BFP's in this thread. God will remove our shame and give us peace for every raging storm in our life in Jesus Name, Amen

Still on the subject of deserters and ttc matters, lemme share my own experience. My cousin was ttc too. My mum and I prayed a lot for her because she had several miscarriages. Finally she got pregnant, and this time around did not share with anyone. My mum was a bit hurt and was like is she scared of me too?

But I was very much in support of her decision and by the time I explained to my mum, she understood.
I told my mum, "it's not you she's afraid of. She had to keep it a secret from everyone because sometimes in our joy, we may share with diabolical people unknowingly.

Maybe that's what worked for her because she had a safe delivery. I don't know for sure, but maybe keeping her secret helped.

My point is, it's better to make excuses for people. When I'm hurt I tell myself, "Cuppy, people are not suspicious of you because they want to be. It's because of the way they met the world, the whole world lies in cruelty. Many people have been destroyed by those closest to them. So you can't blame people when they're suspicious. How do you expect them to know the real thoughts of a person's heart? Only God truly knows your heart."

My philosophy of life is this: "It's normal for people to hurt me, sometimes unintentionally or not. My duty is to train myself to love them and not be easily offended."

What has inspired this philosophy:
the teaching by Jesus that offences must come, but you are blessed when you choose not to be offended;

I do know there'll always be the "Peninahs" to taunt and mock, but if not for them, the Spirit of the Hannahs will not be provoked to pray until something happens.

Another thing is, the world does not revolve around me. Everyone shouldn't be sad just because I'm temporarily going through a trial. Just because mine haven't come yet doesn't mean that someone should not gush about their baby where I am. And it's natural for them to get carried away by the stress of motherhood so much that they forget to say "hi".

In all things, rejoice with them that rejoice, mourn with them that mourn.

Here's an old wise saying: "To understand everything is to pardon everything!"

Mamas, I want to be a blessing to someone's life this week. God has been good to me and I'm tired of just asking without giving back as much as I should.

Is there anyone here who requires any fertility related drug but cannot afford it? Genuinely needs it to combat something serious and also genuinely cannot afford it. I am led to sow 100k into your life. It can go to 1 person or 50k to 2 people. I will pay for the drug before the end of this week by God's grace.
Please be sure you truly need it and truly cannot afford it. You can leave a message here and We'll take it from there.

I suspected my problems could be more of implantation so I decided to play down on kpekusing after O and be more diligent with B6.

I took Chinese tea_Xi xian cao and Yi mu Cao Cd1-10 2× daily
Cd 6 inserted CleanPoint tampon
Removed @ Cd 9 in preparation to BD
My fertile periods are CD10-14 as per 24days cycle.
Eventually beded on CD12 _ Doggy emphasised this time around.
Waited for my period
Stopped B6 to know if it's the cause
Still no show
And finally...
Big Fat Positive....

So,we are 24weeks today and i went for my ante-natal visit for the first time.The hospital compound is very neat and beautiful with lots of trees.Everybody there were on smiles and looking so beautiful.At the reception,the first nurse i met had a name tag bearing "Goodness"she was indeed so good to,gently answering my questions and laughing at my funny comments.I noticed she just brought a card with already filled details and when after i was done i asked please,you have not told me the price of the card and registration and she smiled and replied"oh,its free"!free,i asked,and she gave me that sweet smile of hers and said"it's been paid for by "Grace".I made a mental note in my head to look for this "Grace"and thank Him.I was handed over to another nurse "Mercy".If Nurse Goodness was so nice,nurse Mercy was something else,she took me round the big hospital compound like i asked,did i mention that there were so many fruits in the compound,hmm,they had all types and Nurse Mercy said i could take any i wanted.She took me through a corridor and announced that we were going to see my consultant and i was happy that i will get to see him today.Along the corridors were several offices,and i saw names like Michael,Gabriel and some others on the door.She pointed out to the nurses corridor and my curious self went there to peep.On the nurses door,i saw names like"Love,Joy,Peace,Long-suffering,Gentleness,Goodness,Faith,Meekness,Temperance and some other names,i could not stop to greet them because they were all so busy attending to people.
We finally got to my consultant door and before i could knock the door opened and a very cheerful man whose countenance i have never seen its type before opened the door to let me in.At this point,Nurse Mercy left me.
If i say Nurse Goodness and Mercy were so nice,My doctor's mien was heavenly,he let me rant and i was talking and talking.When i finally realised that all my doctor had been doing was just looking and smiling at me as if to say "my child you know nothing"i kept quiet.Oh,did i mention that cool music was just playing in the background,hmm,such a lovely place.So,my doctor looked at my file before me and all He said was "you can go"."Go,like how?i replied,you did not even ask me my lmp,you did not even tell me to do scan to check if my baby was lying well and growing well,how i was feeling and all the questions doctors normally ask,i began another round of rant.Doctor let me finish and said"your babies are well placed,your lmp was 1st of sept,2017,and he answered my questions without looking at my file and blinking.In shock,i asked Him how he knew all these and He replied "I put them there,I am the creator and not a manufacturer,before you were born,I already knew this day would come,you cried for so many nights and you did not remember that "a day in your world is like a thousand in mine",come He said to me,and took me to an ante-room where i saw many people in white working.This is my spare parts room where we have wombs,fallopian tubes,all types of reproductive organs.In this room,sperm are renewed,testis are created,bodies are made,infact think of anything good,it is here!I wept in awe and for the first time,i noticed His name tag,"JESUS".So,i have been with the doctor of all doctors and i did not know,no wonder He is so wise,He is the ancient of days.He said my daughter,fear not,you have always been fruitful,tell your sisters that I have heard their cries,remind them that I said,there is none that is barren in the land.and tell them to keep Habakkuk 2:3 in their mind and let Heb 11:6 never leave them.He told me so many things and i left there rejoicing!
