yMcy56:I smell small violence laced with truthful words! 😂 Na just question she ask o! 😂 |
faoogoke:Keeping projections to one side, do you think that Afrexim will loan someone almost a billion dollars without doing their due diligence on how they will pay back that money? If it was easy for such loans to be granted, many organisations would have gotten them. |
olig:The whole model for the ETF should been a different one. The ETF have been designed as a student loan fund to aid secondary and tertiary education. Special considerations should be given to those involved in technical and vocational skills and repayments should be spread over a period of 20 years. The universities should set their fees, the students fund it through the ETF and they can hold the schools accountable for the funds rather than an ETF giving free monies to universities and political elites to spend recklessly on low standard infrastructure. Government is also able to hold students and their parents accountable for their performances in school especially starting from secondary schools. |
Streetinvestor2:Very good points you have made, Senor. However, if we can get into full-scale production mode for exports, a weaker currency will be a blessing to the country. Most people begging on the streets ought to be within the confines of a production unit in their villages thereby adding to the GDP of Country. It still beats my mind how yam or cassava flakes (garri) is so expensive in the country. If we can be supplying our fellow diaspora brethren with value added products along these lines, we stans to gain massively. The population of Nigerians abroad is enough to generate good export value for many and earn them foreign exchange. I even feel strongly that many resources that ought to go into production are being spent on degrees based on migration alignment. If 100 people pool the monies they've used to migrate (minimum of 5 to 10 million) and invested it significantly in an industry, they'd have turned the corner after a few years and be rolling through by now. There is more than enough money in this country for everyone. We just need to open our eyes and keep integrity intact in our lives as Nigerians. |
Geovanni412:As we monitor the stock market, we should also keep an eye on global crude oil prices. If crude oil prices are still high and Nigeria is able to ramp up production to 2 million barrels per day or more, leave story o because the market may continue to go higher. One thing that should make us review things drastically is the price of crude oil. The FGN has just launched a USD local bond at over 9% per annum which will attract investors and has been generating interests. Globally, Nigerian assets on the stock market are significantly cheap. |
megawealth01:UniLag has no business generating news like this. They have more than enough resources (human and material) to generate several billions every month to take care of their wants and needs. |
megawealth01:Many of these institutions should be generating their own power source and electricity for use within their environment rather than relying on government subvention and subsidies. Their environments should be an ecosystem on its own. I don't see why UniLag should not have a ferry station and services from there to the Island? Almost all Universities have massive land, water and economic resources that can be used for cash crops, food crops, water supply, housing, etc by generating power supply, food security, affordable housing, and planned towns through their various departments or faculties. I have always believed that economic and income activities (excluding subsidies on education) in Universities should be run by seasoned business and management experts with proven experience in the corporate world to enable them become sustainable. Nobody is coming to have save Nigerians except themselves. If only most Nigerians could have a glimpse of what obtains abroad, the leaders won't be taking them for a ride and wasting resources. |
megawealth01:Mergers are usually not an easy thing to go through especially when you consider integration. The Access Bank PLC and Diamond Bank PLC experiences still come to mind. Examples are those Access-Diamond Bank accounts you see on bank apps showing they still maintain a slightly different nomenclature for those accounts. Write-offs sef go plenty and they don't know the amount of dead legs that willnstick out which they will have to deal with over the years. Even Stanbic IBTC, Chartered Bank and Regent Bank are still dealing with integration issues till date. Like Senor MegaWealth has said, I feel it is good as a speculative play. |
Mankind2024:My brother, the WWE champion, the stock market has always had its business model similar to that of a casino. When someone is buying low, there is some person getting the low end of the stick in price. Same thing when someone is selling at a high price, some one is buying at a high price. We must be able to discern this when the market gets erratic and noisy to enable us filter off the noise to see the real game on the board. When these giys are playing chess, we must not be caught playing draughts but rather watching their strategies and moves to enable us take ours. Our main watch should be on the price of crude oil and other economic factors which usually bring forth signals on where the economy is going. 🙏🏽 |
Where is BrokerHaruna sef? E don tey wey the guy post anything. 😁 |
Streetinvestor2:🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💯💯💯💯💯💯👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾 Many thanks for the calm disposition you have decided to thank. I appreciate it even though we are faceless here. May love continue to reign amongst all of us here and may we be beneficiaries of the goodies the Lord has presented us through this platform. |
Streetinvestor2:I also strongly feel that the sheeps amongst us are usually the ones with major capital to invest. They have no time for analysis paralysis and just need to engaged to pull the trigger to reap bountiful results. I know one sheep who was engaged by Meshpip to buy Tesla during Covid-19 irrespective of the bricks and mud thrown during that time. He bought about NGN1,000,000.00 worth of Tesla then and it is worth over NGN500,000,000.00 when you consider the exchange rate changes, stock splits, etc that has happened over the years. People like Femi Ote$, Alison Dangote, Atedo Peterside, Tony Elumelu, Alhaji Rabiu, etc do not crunch numbers because of their personal deficiencies but they turn out to be like the C and D students in classrooms who create corporations that employ the A and B students. Let's be able to disagree with others respectfully towards agreeing on the same concept which is to benefit all on this forum. Some potential billionaires dey this forum and na just one single update fit turn am for them. Ultimately, na all of us go enjoy am and we should remember say nobody don carry all him or her loot go the afterlife o! It is meant to be shared with friends, families, acquaintances and good people with blessed hearts. 🙏🏽 |
Streetinvestor2:My brother, good morning to you. Please tone down the rhetoric of using some abrasive nouns like sheep or even related verbs. I noticed you have been on about this. Though this is a faceless forum, such depicts some form of narcissistic behaviour which doesn't suit the personality of someone like you. You may decide to take my advice calmly or react negatively to it but, believe me that it doesn't hurt anyone to be there for their brothers and sisters. That sheep word you use on this platform makes one cringe at certain personalities herein. I know people may have had their differences with certain companies in the past, you may also have your differences with people herein, but we should remember thatnit only takes some new news to make certain stocks turn the corner and become the toast and delight to others. One thing I have learnt in this world is to never judge a book by its cover and allow personal feelings override the good of a community. This is what highly learnt when some people advised others to buy stocks like Oando PLC or Chams PLC or NAHCO PLC or Veritas PLC or Zenith PLC or WAPCO PLC amongst others during Covid-19. As a matter of fact, Chams PLC which many are romancing today was vilified several years ago and the peoplw who gave recommendations on these stocks were attacked verbosely. Same thing with the Niger Delta Exploration Production Comapny which metamorphosed into Aradel PLC today. We can communicate our message without attaching verbose rhetoric to them irrespective of how we feel about the stocks being referenced. Kind regards and may the Lord continue to bless all of us. 🙏🏽 |
megawealth01:Nice one, Chief Mega. The way you dey dish these things, na like person wey dey play Wort dey play pick 2, pick 3, general market, etc. I remember these stocks being part of the recommendations from OGG when he shared his list of Insurance companies to buy up. More grease to your elbows OGG and may th3 Lord continue to bless you. I know say Baba Almighty dey reward you plenty plenty 🙏🏽 |
MARKETJJC:Aradel is also not doing badly as well even though it is on the OTC. It surprising that it has moved from about NGN2,500 to over NGN6,000 yet bids are still not being filled. Could it be another Seplat PLC when they list on the floor of the NGX? 🤷🏽♂️ |
designking:Remember the words of the ProphetUtuocha. Many will seek Oando but ...................... When all the bricks were being thrown back and forth amongst our brethren, it wouldn't have hurt many to use deny themselves some entertainment and use their entertainment funds to purchase it. If interested in the oil and gas industry, I would suggest you also look towards Aradel PLC (formerly Niger Delta Exploration Production Company PLC). 🙏🏽 |
Choiceguy:I still wonder why people feel so comfortable attacking OGG when he shows his cards. They need to put some respect on the dude's name. If you go back to see his posts based on his recommendations, OGG don help many people with his sleek and articulated picks! Baba na real G! 😎 |
Locotrader:Loco Baba don show face o for forum o! Na so e suppose be. Christmas never reach yet Loco Baba don dey bring glad tidings to the forum. Baba, this your love, I just hope say no JIJO mode o because many never chop the kind of liver wey you dey chop, Baba. 😂 Wishing you a pleasant week ahead, Baba. More grease to your elbows. 😎 |
ndept:Chief ndept, please take it easy. I understand your feelings though it is best we do not thread the lanes where verbose words are magnified. Whether cast or not casted, the ones who are mixing the concrete should know that if the rains pour down while mixing their concrete, the mixture will get to slurry and be come liquidised. Being part of this forum, I have always felt that the ultimate goal should be to break the barriers of the faceless and audioless nature of this forum to being able to meet and host each other. That for me is very important and keeps me in check a lot of the times except if e don too much. 😁 May the Lord continue to bless all of us, especially the shepherds who continue to provide guidance, one waynor the other to their sheeps. 🙏🏽 |
BullBearMkt:Chai, how the mighty have fallen! Imagine what has been happening to Nestle PLC over the years and decades. A stock that used to be the toast of the high networth individuals, fund managers especially the Pension Funds Administrators and Closed Pension Fund Administrators seems to have lost a lot of steam. My prayers are that it will be well with the patient investors and hopefully the storms from the forex issues blows away. 🙏🏽 |
narite:Oga Ade, no vex o but which one be "pick off the street" like say na bubble gum or toffee wey fall from person pocket? 🤦🏽♂️ Sometimes the way una go come from other forums come dey try dagbo with some things for this forum like say na hood una dey especially when una don mark territory from that una crypto side. 🙄 |
Bagwa:Well said my brethren, which is why fear shouldn't be driven into the hearts of many. If not for the fact that this is a faceless forum, many would realise that a lot of lives have been saved on this platform. A big shout out to the shepherds who have been saving many lives through their updates from decades back. Your impact on those lives would be much appreciated when the veil over the beneficiaries are taken off and manifested to you You deserve your flowers and may the Almighty Creator, the one who gives life, continue to bless you immensely and reward you abundantly for all the care you show others. |
Payunsin:Why you wan buy am na? You wan chop the gold at the end of the rainbow alone? 😁 Baba why your body dey hot this morning na. Just relax, cam down and read in between the lines na. I no dey spar with you on top Oando matter o! I just highlighted the fact that you have been a firm believer in the Oando matter na. Do you know that I got banned for a few days on top this Oando matter when I posted about the relationship between OVH and NNPCL (which later surfaced in the news). In that post, I also highlighted how NNPCL declared a profit of over NGN3 Trillion a few days ago (public information declared by the company o!) and wondered the impact it may have towards its prospect and the economy as well. The post was deleted and I was reported as a bot spammer which led to the ban. 🤷🏽♂️ |
Payunsin:This our brother on this forum ehn! You are looking for trouble on this Oando matter o! 😂 |
Mankind2024:As you dey pledge that portfolio, try to dey show am love from time to time as profits or gains dey show face o! No chop your humongous profits alone o! 😁 |
ositadima1:I don't disagree with you on this one o, my brother but I think the dude has been more like a "Keyser Söze" from the movie "The Usual Suspects" over the decades. His moves over several decades has been similar to that of the Zwischenzug in chess. It symbolises moves used by very smart chess players to even beat grandmasters at the game when they loose their guards or get greedy. If an individuals can apply it to life, especially business and politics, they will outsmart over 90% of the people within their ecosystem by controlling the active areas of influence through deft moves. |
Raider76:Many people underestimate the tactics of the President we have today and it makes me wonder why? The dude is cut from a different cloth when you compare him with others. From experiences with people and several discussions over the years, I see him as a the quarter-back of the smart major political elites including the favorites of many people. Just look at his deft move with the small lion lady who is poised to be the next CJ. If you look at the antecedents, for him to have gotten himself on the Presidential ticket and seat, it is something he had planned for several decades when he became a Senator of the Federal Republic. Regarding the NNPC job, I believe that the President has chosen a replacement for the NNPC job immediately he was placed in and had control over Aso Rock. He must have also assured this person to be patient and just bid time to take over when the coast is cleared. Have you not noticed that his godfather from the days of their Mobil parapo was a member of the NNPC board under Buhari and is the current Chairman of NNPC. He had also encouraged his supporters from various Oil and Gas companies, Legal and Investment Banking firms to move into NNPC since the days of Buhari in 2015 (I know a few of them who left big firms to join that corporation). It may be one of his joker to sell some of the shares from some of the subsidiaries of NNPC to the public and list them on the floors of several exchanges across the globe. I see him most likely as the strongest political elite from the MKO-Tofa-SDP-NRC era that still wields so much power to control and protect the interests of many political and corporate elites across various Democratic republics and regime starting from 1992. Many forget that he was instrumental in the Econet, Pension Reform Act, etc amongst other deft corporate moves that have happened over the years. When these elites decide to play chess, we must watch and study the game from outside and not be caught playing draughts. |
Sunrisepebble:A company wherein their parent company wants to use the foreign exchange issue to bring in funds at a cheaper rate to increase their holdings in Nestle Nigeria PLC. Any wise parent company who sees the future will use this opportunity to bring in funds at a favourable rate that will increase their local currency value and subsequently their holdings locally. This is just like saying MTN or Standard Bank wants to leave Nigeria. Where dem wan go? |
emmanuelewumi:Oga Emma, I understand your view I no fit argue that side and do not doubt them. You be Don for this stock matter and I throw salute to you. 🫡 However, those Babas wey still dey hold dem stock holdings no matter the dilution Wale did for them are part of the people selling those rights issue shares today. |
MARKETJJC:Oga, you just dey use moniker deceive us for this platform. Which one be JJC wey you add to your name na? 😂 |
mikeapollo:Wow! Much respect Oga Mike on keeping faith that long o. One things that has always crossed my mind during this whole balablu on Oando is what will we now say about all those babas like Otunba Ojora and his mates wey don dey Oando since the days of UniPetrol PLC and Nigerian AGIP PLC. This must be their time of redemption to gain back all they lost and present an opportunity for the new cats to buy out their shares. For them , that opportunity shows that even a bad clock that has stopped working will be correct twice in a day. |
