3 Africans down at the first match

We are out of this WC
Another 4 years to prepare

We can turn this around with some tweaks in our mid field

What an awful penalty take from Peru what on earth was he aiming at up there

Iceland successfully tamed Messi kudos to them
The WC is boiling up!

Iceland making a mess of Messi
Iceland are so disciplined they kept shape all through
Messi is overwhelmed
Messi is frustrated

The day has come, the moment of truth
We have been on this journey for the past 4 years and now it has come upon us.
Rohr is the coach, what he sees nobody can see it so all the online Super coaches should hold their horses.
No matter how it ends today SE remains our only and darling team whom we are proud of and will continue to support. I know the boys are prepped to give their best but ours is to give an unflinching support and vocalize our belief in our SE
Today I boldly say soar Eagles soar!
We love and appreciate your efforts and sincerely wish you the very best. Go out there and enjoy yourselves!

Seem African teams lack the knowledge of the science of football most especially off the pitch

Morocco lost concentration at the most wrong time
I had the feeling that Morocco will go far but losing your first game to the perceived weakest team in the group is devastating

Though Egypt is good in aerial balls yet the Uruguayan defender out jumped the Egyptians to score
This is my greatest concern for the SE, they are horrible aerial balls defenders cuz they can't jump

Is it not the same dude that wants to join ECOWAS?
That dude has bad plans for Nigeria and I wonder what Bubu wants with him

SE has what it takes to go far in the WC but how much do they want to go far
I am disappointed at some comments here talking down our team when that's the only senior national team we have and must support.
We can criticize the team but we must never talk them down
Wish the the best in Russia

Watching WC '98 Spain vs Nigeria and one wonders why Spain has developed so much while Nigeria seem to be on same spot cuz the SE 98 could have been our foundation to more formidable world beating team
Spain developed its local league with consistent developmental programs while we have done nothing.

As the world Cup is fast approaching, there's a new way power company staff exploit customers.
It's very simple:
1. Organize some hoodlums to steal the armored cables from the transformer
2. Wait for affected community to come report the theft incident
3. Give phoney assurance to affected community that the head office has been notified of the theft and serious work is ongoing to replace the stolen cables.
4. Supply light to surrounding neighbors to put the affected community in greater misery
5. Wait patiently knowing fully well nothing will come out of the head office report and instigate some members of the affected community to tell others about the quickest way to replace the stolen cable which is by community contribution.
6. Prey on the typical Nigerian deep desire to watch the WC by not making any effort to get the cables from the head office
7. Collect the community contribution but gets the official cables from the head office to replace the stolen ones.

The advise is that protect your community transformer as the WC is fast approaching else you will be scammed by power company staff looking for quick money.

I don't see any wrong with the goalkeeper
I see we have to avoid slow start to games
We need a formation we are good at and stick to it with options to switch to

DSTV don kolo

adidison:
Nigeria no sabi defend set pieces at all ... smh

Yes our man marking is horrible and we cannot zonal mark either

This is the purpose of a friendly trying different tactical formations and tailoring your team to the one that works best for you

Rain don kill DSTV here o

This friendly has exposed our weaknesses and we must act fast or else we will come out of our group with zero

Our boys look jittery and unfit for a competitive match

Our boys are full of poo no synergy no cohesion
Rohr has a lot to do seem this formation is not working

Onazi making horrible errors while Joel is nowhere if this is our best then sorry is our name so disappointing set of players

Where on earth is TSTV that promised so much and delivered nothing!
It's WC time and the best time to swing the odds in its favour but no, TSTV is nowhere to be found.
SMH

Leave the stage when the ovation is loudest
Zouzou is now a living legend

Please i need an action packed series very similar to 24

tbaba1234:
NPFL Legend Victor Ezeji

” Lokosa didn’t do badly but he didn’t do anything spectacular to show he deserve a spot in the team to the World Cup. As the top scorer in the league I expect him to wow us and that in turn will help his case, sadly he didn’t do that”,

Source: OGN

This dude is one pessimist full of blames, for goodness sake Lok has only played once for SE and was played out of his natural position and you expect him to wow you? Furthermore our dysfunctional league cannot produce wow players any longer unlike in the past.
So Ezeji should cut Lok some slack I beg

Too bad to judge too quickly
Be consoled bro

So much talks about so many things but I think:

1. If Rohr is following this thread, the dude would have resigned by now cuz too many conflicting opinions and I hope NFF is not like this thread
2. We should see beyond the WC, so what happens if we exit at first round or we get to the finals? Nff should retain Rohr (if he's interested) to build a youthful well blended team and raise a formidable replacement from those working with him

Up until now, Rohr has shown he's man on a mission though not there yet but he's heading in the right direction.
I wish our darling SE the best at the WC

charlesemeka85:
the pitch is a tomoto farm

Is NFF trying to decapitate our players by sending them to play with an African team on that suicidal ground called pitch?
What have we gained playing on such horrible turf when the WC will be played on excellent pitches?
No wonder the boys were careful with tackles that could end their WC aspirations and the SS guys were busy castigating the boys for not committing suicidel on that evil pitch
