Culture › Re: Names Of Various Animals In Yoruba Language by oloriooko(m): 2:33pm On May 25, 2018
OoshaRe:
It's amazing to note that the Yoruba language has an equivalent name for anything in English language. The language is so vast and broad.
Here's a little compilation of some animals and the Yoruba equivalent of their names.

Ps: I posted this on twitter so I'm a bit lazy to start typing again so I attached the pictures instead.
Wow shocked thanks OP for the vital info, its good we stay connected to our languages
Our kids are gradually losing grip of it
I wish ibos, hausas and other languages can give us these animals names too

Sometimes, one cannot help but admire the honesty of the Barclay's English premiership. Who could imagine an Everton team with absolutely nothing to play for, went at it full blast to score a last minute equalizer against Southampton.
Reverse is the case in my country. Something must give.

Who recalls how Akwa Utd got promoted back in 2006 when they recorded a 13 nil victory on the final day, they needed exactly 12 nil to secure promotion. This is reason I hate that club with passion. I celebrated when they were knocked out of the Caf competition.
The honesty of the English premiership is worthy of emulation by the football universe.
Yet we pray like saints b4 matches and after but these guys we call pagans are more straight forward than us.
I doff my hat for EPL after watching Everton's 95th min equalizer

Bedlecturer:
I expect the Nigerian Police to commence investigation on the forgery of voters signature in Kogi West Senatorial District.
How can they do that?
Do you not see how busy they are handling Dino who has committed more heinous crime?
Or you have forgotten that starting such investigation will send more of Bello's boys to jail?
OP I beg let the Police do what they are called to do and that is finish Dino grin
