Please go for it. But don’t do it without preparing though. I’d suggest you book the test for a date at the end of April. This gives you more than enough time to get ready for it. There’s no way of telling when the cut off will drop. Next draw or August?? If there are things you can do to improve your chances, please do it. Better than waiting in uncertainty, IMO Scandinavian02: Dear Seniors in the house.
We have been waiting in the Pool with a CRS of 448 since February 16th and from the trend, I don't think I can wait any longer.
My spouse alone did the IELTS that gave us the CRS score, I don't want to miss the next drraw hence wants to register for CBT without preparing just to earn 5-10points and boost our CRS for next draw.
Please, can I just walk in and write normal English and score at least 5 points to enable us get ITA in a fortnight? |

We use credit cards in Nigeria, many people have them. If you don’t have one, use your debit card (i.e ATM card). It will work just as well. Millalorinzzz: Congratulations to all PPR clinchers I have issue with paying through Western Union for Wes, the other available options are Credit card which we don't use in Nigeria and cheque/ money order Anytime I click on western union it brings out the error message, pls is there any way out or other payment option I could opt for?? |

Hi Lastruct, Your travel date is in August, and ticket prices are always higher at that time (because it’s summer). June/July/August is peak period for travel, so it costs more. If you can, check for travel dates before June and after August. April or October maybe Skyscanner is your best option. You can also try a local travel agent. They have good deals from time to time. Lastruct: Wow...that’s a very good deal oh...I’ve been checking Jumia too sha.. will keep monitoring it. Though I’m now getting better deals on skyscanner as suggested, I got about 935k for all of us but it’s for May, most of the cheap ones I got in the range 935k to 1.2m are in May and leaving in May would affect a lot of planning stuffs...will keep checking to see if I can get something better around July sha. Thanks everyone for your support. |

Hi Thelma, I'm in Lagos and looking to pair with someone to send the WAEC scratch card to WES, to save costs. Have you sent yours or can we link up? Thelmah27: Hello, i plan to send mine this week. Are you in Lagos? |

Thank you again Sparks. Yes I'm in Lagos. I've paid a staff there a token to help push the email. Hopefully, he does it as promised. Sparks026: You are welcome.
Most likely they ain't checking it even. Because like I said, I think the language barrier is the issue. Where do you reside? If you are in Lagos, I will advise you travel down to Cotonou even if it's the full day just to follow it up and see that they responded back to WES. |

Yes thanks. This gave me a bit more hope Caddy007: Olorunwasimi, if it’s any consolation, a friend had hers favorably evaluated by WES. Thou she finished from UPIB Cotonou. |

Thank you so much. I’m at the verification stage and like you said it’s taking so long. Different excuses; “no light in school, laptop isn’t working, pay me some money to make it faster”. I guess I’ll keep pushing. Thank you again. Sparks026: Hello, Yes, I did one from HNAUB, although not mine. They request for 60K CFA to send your transcript and certificate/result to WES Canada through a DHL service. It usually get to Canada by the 3rd day. The only process that takes time is for them to respond to the query from WES Canada. I guess it's because of the language barrier. However, what I did in my case was to get someone go directly to the office and help them reply the email back to WES Canada and it was fixed and WES concluded the verification. |

Good evening everyone. Trying to conclude ECA with WES. I went to Houdegbe North American University in Cotonou, Benin Republic for my BSc. (kinda regret it, long story though). Is there anyone here who successfully got a positive ECA for a degree from Houdegbe? Tried to search the entire thread, couldn’t find anything. |
