TARGET: Main target for this training are civil engineering students at their final year. However, interested persons at various levels that feel the training is essential for him/her are free to join.

SCOPE OF THE TRAINING: The following structural members shall be designed to Eurocode 2 & BS 8110:

(1) Restrained slabs.
(2) Simply supported & Continous beams.
(3) Structural Columns. (Axially loaded, Biaxially loaded and Uniaxially loaded).
(4) Cantilever members.
(5) Stair case.
(6) Raft Foundation.

As for the way forward, I think proper quality control is not being put into practice. Clients are interested in contractors that will complete a bulky project under 24 hours. Consequently, this results in corruption and jumping of protocols by contractors. The result of this is a big threat to public safety while the contractors' reputation are also at risk.
