I can reliably inform you that PDP's victory would've been much sweeter with a wider margin had SDP not fielded a strong candidate or if PDP had not fielded a candidate with certificate controversy. It's all a protest vote against Aregbesola and Thief.nubu's APCheat.

And those are APC'S STRONGHOLD IT WAS CLOSE BUT OYETOLA DON WIN BE THAT. IFE WAS THE DECIDING FACTOR. Reason why Adeleke's deputy was picked from Ife, but Omisore being a prince was just to strong.

This election has shown that APC is now a full fledged party, because only party members will vote for them with the way the country is going. Good sign for next years presidential election, if PDP picks Saraki he will annihilate Buhari in the Southwest, but any northern candidate, even Atiku will lose to whoever APC brings(Buhari)

Omisore has played the role of spoiler, Dancing Senator will go back to the Senate, Omisore still is the deciding factor in Osun State, PDP presidential aspirant will have to negotiate with him after which Oyetola(APC) will also negotiate with him too. He and Oyetola are the biggest winners of this election.

In all for the southwest this is a good result and foreshadowing of what is to come. The southwest is gradually coming together to humble some people that think they are the lord of Nigeria. The arrogance they showed Tinubu in the beginning of this tenure had already sealed their doom. Tinubu will do what he is doing to Ambode to Buhari but this time instead of primaries it will be in the actual election.

ife east isn't apc strong hold and ilesha has proven to be unpredictable

what I noticed in osogbo is that pdp got mores votes than 4 years ago, judging by the polling unit results, sdp is really a spoiler for both parties, but Apc apparently won,
the margin, I don't know but not the landslide it was in 2014
