Yes, it is normal

For the fee at the VFS Centre, I paid 81k. (I paid about 30k online tho). I can’t confirm if that is the fee that still applies.

Just submitted an application online for my younger brother. Now I am trying to book an appointment for him to submit his documents and the biometric, but the VFS website wants me to pay the visa fee online.

Do I need to pay the visa fee online on the VFS website or pay at the VFS center on the day of the appointment? Also, is it compulsory to sign up for courier or can he pick up his passport by himself when it is ready?

You will pay a fee at the point of booking and also at the VFS center when you submit. Both amounted to more than 100k for me. I am not sure it is compulsory to pay for courier but it is advisable, especially if you are submitting at the VFS in Lagos (or not Abuja where the embassy is). I am not so sure too if you are allowed to walk into the embassy for visa matters too. You could make a call to confirm.

Gud afternoon guyz...i rily nid ur help abt smfin botherin ma mind..i applied for 3 admissions(oau's pd,polyib n funaab)n thank God,i've bin admittd into 2(oau's pd n polyib)..hopin i'l b admittd 2 funaab 2..d 1st 2 admit me was oau 4 pd,n i had 2 quickly pay abt 165k,so as 2 beat d deadline...Now,polyib has also admittd me 4 accountin..buh i'm confused,very confused..i dnt knw mayb i shld jx continue with oau's pd against jamb next year,hopin i'l b admittd 2 oau..or i shld snub d 165k,n go 4 polyib,with d hope of crossin 2 oau...plz..wat're ma chances of enterin oau with both ways n if u were in ma shoes..wat'ld u do?..plzzzz
