Great read.

Observations:

1. Your application of aàmì is sometimes misplaced, rendering those words to mean another thing entirely.

2. I think Agbé'ni Má F'Ohùn could mean "The Stealthy Kidnapper."

Great write up though. Kudos.
Politics / Re: That Kanayo O Kanayo Video Finally Killed Peter Obi' Campaign by OlufemiAbbey(m): 11:44am On Jan 18, 2023
Not supporting bigotry but y'all should chill and drink some water. It was in this country Tinubu went to Ogun State to scream "Yoruba Lokan, Emi lokan", Atiku said the North East should make him the next "Tafawa Balewa", and to vote "only a Northerner." These are confirmed statements directly from the contestants.

However, Peter Obi has repeatedly said nobody should vote for him because he is Igbo. Rather, people should vote for him because he is competent, he has character, and capacity to govern Nigeria. Unlike Tinubu and Atiku who are campaigning based on religion and ethnicity, Peter Obi has conducted himself well and has sold himself as a true Nigerian.

If you watch closely,

1. It was Peter Okoye that first retweeted, then copied and pasted the tweet from Rufai Oseni.

2. Rufai tweeted 5hrs earlier, Peter's tweet was two hrs after. So we know who copied who.

Y'all should just chill. This year is pivotal in every way. Are we going to go forward as a nation or remain stuck? All I want is for God to intervene in this country so that the child of nobody can become somebody even if he/she doesn't know anybody.

You these bloggers! You posted a video but couldn't allow us listen to it. I believe she spoke in English. You might as well just write out the words she said without the video cos I don't understand why it's your voice that will do justice to what she said. This is poor. Introduce yourself, your channel and leave the fvcking video alone to play by itself. Your voice no even sweet sef. I'm angry.

Don't create future stumbling block for Peter Obi. If by God's grace he wins in 2023, those items will be scrutinized vis-a-vis his performances.

I'll suggest that whatever hasn't come out of Peter Obi's mouth shouldn't become part of his campaign train. They made Buhari promised what he never believed in in both 2015 and 2019. Please take this post down. Peter Obi has not said any of those.

Nairaland / General / By 2030, Many People Will Stop Using Smart Phones by OlufemiAbbey(m): 8:37pm On Jun 02, 2022
In modern times, the smartphone is very important in the lives of users. In fact, many people can not detach from their smartphones for an hour. They are useful for both work and entertainment. However, Nokia CEO, Pekka Lundmark, claims that by 2030, a lot of people will put down their smartphones.

Why did Lundmark make this statement? He said this because 6G will officially go commercial in 2030. Pekka Lundmark believes that many people will use wearable electronic products and even implant chips in their bodies.

In the current 5G era, smartphones are still the most important device for accessing 5G networks. Pekka Lundmark believes that the situation will be different after the commercial use of 6G networks. At that time, smartphones will definitely not be the most common devices, and everyone will use devices such as smart glasses. Access to the Internet, and even implanted chips and electronic devices in the human body.

However, Pekka Lundmark did not specify what these electronic products that can make people put down their mobile phones look like. In 2030, the technical requirements of 6G networks will also change a lot. It will require massive computing power, and at the same time, the network speed will be faster. It should be about 100 times or even 1,000 times faster than that of the current network.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Islam Is Getting In Trouble, Sudan Is The First Country To Ban Islam by OlufemiAbbey(m): 4:16pm On May 20, 2022
Pierohandsome:
Muslims in northern Nigeria where mute all through the first republic up to the fourth republic...they suddenly developed into a violent sect ever since Jonathan down to Buhari assumed presidency..

Of all religions in this world, islam is the only religion that abhors peaceful coexistence. There is no country in this world where Muslims live in peace with other religions.

Islam should be proscribed worldwide, starting from Nigeria

That's not actually correct sir. Northern Muslims have always been violent in Nigeria since amalgamation of 1914. They were kept at bay and controlled by their elites and emirs (the Fulanis who conquered majority of the Hausa land). They were deliberately kept uneducated, impoverished and alienated from civilizations so that they can be controlled. They fabricated the "you don't question your leaders" so that they can remain in silence.

Migration to any part of the country was encouraged. People were free to go to any part of the country to live or do business. Soon, we had cultural and religious clashes. Southerners who are not used to keeping silent when things are wrong (mostly educated Christians) began to question certain status quo. They began to sensitze the indigens and encouraged them to speak up. The powers that be saw it as an affront, a disaster waiting to happen. What did they do? They introduced religious intolerance through their imans and sheiks. These teachers preached hate to their congregants and soon, intolerance took over.

The Southerners were prospering. They owned shops and took over the businesses there. The Northerners see this as a take-over of their lands and so the monumental urge to attack people was implanted in to the hearts of the Northerners.

The 1966 Coup d'etat that killed the Saduarna of Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello and the Prime Minister, Alhaji Tafawa Balewa, heightened the hate. Since then, the North has always been hostile to outsiders, especially at the time off crisis or misunderstanding. Hey target the shops and businesses of these outsiders, burned them to he ground and also look for ways to kill them.

Invariably, religious tensions by Northern Nigeria Muslims didn't start during Jonathan's time. It's as old as the country herself. The "we own Nigeria" mentality passed down by Uthman Dan Fodio is the greatest brainwashing in the history of mankind. It was a bogus claim even from a foreigner who himself migrated into the country, disposed the indigens by lies and wars.

Truth is, whether these Muslims believed it or not, Islam has always encouraged violence, either by open support or through their subliminal teachings (brainwashing). Fact is, every region or religion has her own issues but ask yourself this question:

Which region has plagued this country the most?

That's right. It is Arewa.

Hello everyone. I go by the name Oga Femi here on Nairaland. Some of you might have read my story in the Sexuality Section tagged: True Life Story of a Sex Addict. I have, however, been a silent reader on Nairaland since then as I figured I need to lay back.

To the topic...

I may sound like a Conspiracy Theorist but believe me, I've been following global politics for the past 10 years, observing all its intricate plans and maneuvers. Part of my studies have included:

1. Zionism: The Position of Israel in Global Politics

2. Middle-East and the World, Especially Iran

3. USA and its Global Impacts

4. The Illuminati

5. The Role of Islam in Global Conflicts

6. The Globalist and Their Agenda.

Whatever I am going to say here is first of all personal and undocumented, officially. It may take me few more years to get them properly documented with all of my findings.

The major concern of the Globalist is to reduce the World's Population by any means necessary. Their belief/motto is that "for few to live forever, many have to die". There is a movie that resonates this belief. The name of the movie is called "In Time" starring Timbaland.

Ladies and gentlemen, Coronavirus is simply an attempt to reduce the World's Population. The Globalist believe that many lives have to be wiped out in order to save the planet. One of their major pusher and campaigner is Bill Gates. He believes the world's population should be reduced.

A Global War Scale would hasten their plans but the world is resisting any attempt to war. Then they created a pill that reduces human fertility Again, they forced and are still forcing homosexuality/Lesbianism down our throats in their desperate attempts to discourage reproduction. And now, we are in the era of bioweapon, the era of releasing poisonous gas in populated areas with high mortality rate. Coronavirus is a laboratory experiment that is presently in all the continents of the world.

Open your eyes people. The world has gone bunkers. What I have written here may not convince you, yet. Save this post for the future because trust me, you're going to make reference to it. This Coronavirus is man-made, and not from any animals. Don't be caught off-guard, there might still be yet a more deadly virus than this Corona.

Politics / Re: Buhari Appointment Of Charles Soludo Makes Me Believe He Means Well For Nigeria by OlufemiAbbey(m): 12:36am On Sep 17, 2019
Whether Soludo accepts the appointment or not, I am still worried about the future oh this nation. We need to understand the tricks and gimmicks of the Northerners:

1. Appoint Southerners to squeeze out money

2. Appoint Northerners to expend the money

It's a win-win for the North.

On the face level, it appears like a great step, but we all must understand the subliminal tone in it. It's all about throwing a carrot.

Very funny. She used to be my late mum's best friend. They both worked in the same ministry back then: Ministry of Education, 1987-1992. We spent a couple of days in her house during a long holiday. Twas in her house I first saw Michael Jackson's Moon Walk Video. This life ehn?
