Don't be emotional about Justice Salami. Check the details of his role in Osun
Now your story is Changing to Jonathan influenced the judiciary but was right with Ayo salami.
You see, I find myself in the same field as Salami,& may understand better than others.
Salami was a Doyen who was cherished and adored 4 his sound reasoning and polished judgments.
Electoral laws are what they are and to be delivered as they are.
Have you gone through the electoral act?
That act of GEJ alone, stabbed him a whole lot.
How do u vilify salami and exonerate Katsina Alu and the sokoto saga?
Leave the topic till you discover other better facts outside your affinity with a party and their loss.
Now haven't the PDP lost what they wanted to cover & hold on to?
The people's wish will always have the day,no matter how long it takes.

I hope APC learn from PDP mistake. We should stop zoning politics in Nigeria and start need to appointing the best people for the job
Lovely, but thank me later when you discover that S.14(3) of the Nigerian constitution stipulates that the composition of the Govt. Of the Federation must reflect the federal character(which means all regions must be reflected).
Your claim will only surface where a Geo-political Zone cannot produce any good head (or could they all be daft?---NO)
In this case however, let me say that the SE shot them selves in the Leg because d house rule provides that the dominant party occupy the top positions. Opposition is however good 4 our growing democracy,so the SE & SS will make do with Minority leader, chief Whip et al.

All you posted here benefited those in your region mostly.
On the contrary Oil benefits the entire Nigeria.

There's no need for us to be claiming who owns this and who owns that.....we all own Nigeria...she is mother to us all...if problem comes, we will all get up and put aside our differences to fight for our country.
We all bear Nigeria, benefit from Nigeria,& intrinsically love Nigeria.
Just clearing the doubt that one part of the south west will suffer.

It was hard for me coming to a decision to reply your post, cos obviously you haven't traveled past your mom's kitchen.
Besides Ondo state producing Crude Oil,
Ondo State houses the second largest deposit of Bitumen in the world.
When it comes to education, ondo state boasts of more professors than any other non-south/western state.
Development-wise,plssss if you are not from Rivers or Akwa ibom, then don't repeat such.
PoliticsRe: Igbo VS Yoruba: EgusiSoup by Olufhemy(m): 12:12pm On Apr 17, 2015
CHM11:
I won't reply with insults as you did.
I am a Niger Deltan from an oil producing region of Delta state, but truth at the moment is that our oil serves to feed the entire Nigeria. This is a fact at the moment. If yorubas can benefit from the oil in the Niger Delta, that means any other tribe can benefit from the land in any the yoruba states too.

If yorubas want igbos to leave Lagos, which obviously includes all other tribes in the Niger Delta (because to the yoruba man, every non hausa and non yoruba is an igbo man) then they should not be allowed to benefit from any federal allocation derived from oil. Let's see how states like Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, and Ogun will survive.
So quick to forget that b4 we started practicing unitary system as we have it now,the western region comprising of all those mentioned states, and devoid of oil, was the leading region in Nigeria.
For avoidance of doubt:
1st television station in Africa
1st stadium in Africa
First university in Nigeria
Tallest Building (cocoa house) in sub-saharan Africa
Free Education
Free health
And lots more.......
So recalling this means this post of yours wasn't well thought out.

The truth is that no matter the rigging,it musnt exceed the total number of those who collected PVC.
Those who collected in d SE are abt 7.8Million
SS also are about 7.7M
Both being about 15.5Million.

Now north west alone had 15.5Million PVC holders
So let's forget it,cos we know North East has cult-like support 4 GMB.

He has made it already,I think you need to make some calls to that region.
Believe me,don't sit in the south and talk without realizing d pain of that region who for 18 years of civil rule, have enjoyed barely 2years. A northerner is a northerner, hence the massive collective vote, which even saw PDP led Benue, lose as Sen. David Mark even fell.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Wins Ekiti With 176,474 Votes - Vanguard by Olufhemy(m): 5:19pm On Mar 29, 2015
The Good news is that buhari won this state also by pulling at least 25% of registered votes.

The constitution States that 2 conditions must be met:
1. Win 25% of votes in 24 states
2. Pull majority of counted overall votes.

24 states are certain, massive northern votes (19 states) will augment SW votes(6 states) and there we are in paradise.

Once it is called Highway, there is no speed limit attached to it (except on papers especially in Nigeria). In an ideal situation you have right to overtake any car on highway but if you do such in a place like North East at the current situation I think you are inviting trouble. Well let's wait for the NA statement.
Yet there's no reason but military recklessness.

The Good part however is that we who passed tru it,shud in wateva position we occupy now or in later life, strive to make Nigeria a better place for our children and coming generations,so that when we tell stories, they will be like- SO Nigeria one time spent coins?
