Travel / "Don't Visit 20 Nigeria States" America Warn Its Citizens by Olufonade: 11:12am On Aug 07, 2016
The United States of America has warned its citizens against travelling to 20 states in Nigeria due to security concerns. According to the travel advice on the Department of State’s website, the North-Eastern states of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa, where the Boko Haram terrorists were more brutal, topped the list. It read: “The Department of State warns U.S. citizens of the risks of travelling to Nigeria and recommends that U.S. citizens avoid all travel to Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe states because the security situation in northeast Nigeria remains fluid and unpredictable. The Department of State strongly urges U.S. citizens in Nigeria to consider their own personal security and to keep personal safety in the forefront of their travel planning. This Travel Warning replaces the Travel Warning for Nigeria dated February 5, 2016.
“The ability of the Mission to provide assistance to U.S. citizens in Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe states remains severely limited. The Department recommends against all but essential travel to the following states due to the risk of kidnappings, robberies, and other armed attacks: Bauchi, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, and Zamfara. “
The Department also warns against travel in the Gulf of Guinea because of the threat of piracy. Based on safety and security risk assessments, the Embassy maintains restrictions for travel by U.S. officials to the states listed above; officials must receive advance clearance by the U.S. Mission for any travel to those states.
“The U.S. Mission advises all U.S. citizens to be particularly vigilant around government security facilities; churches, mosques, and other places of worship; locations where large crowds may gather, such as hotels, clubs, bars, restaurants, markets, shopping malls; and other areas frequented by expatriates and foreign travelers.

Religion / Are You A Garri Lady Or Bread Lady? by Olufonade: 2:14pm On May 10, 2016
I remember a joke about how someone used to solve his hunger problem in the )days of poverty. He would go to any market where they display different kind of garri for sales. He would price it and take almost handful of each kind of garri and eat it, 'testing' to know if the garri is good. He said he can taste like four kinds of garri like that, and he won't buy any one. He would just give one excuse either by saying the garri is not sour enough or that he will buy it when he is returning. He said by the time he has eaten four handful of garri, he would just buy a sachet of pure water& drink and he would be okay for that moment. He was teased that why can't he do that if he is hungry and he wish to eat bread. Then he said 'Eben, you want them to kill me. The bread is inside a nylon oo and you can't take it without first paying and once you tear the nylon, it mean you have paid for it or you are paying for it.'.
This is the inspiration I got from this conversation. We have this 2 kinds of single ladies today. We have 'Garri ladies' and 'Bread ladies'. We have so many ladies today that guys are just using their sexual organs to solve their sexual hunger. You have dated 5 to 6 guys and each of them have had bedroom prowess with you. My sister, you are a garri lady. It does not matter your academic qualifications and social status. If you offer your body in exchange for money, for academic grades, employment, or any other favour, you are simply a Garri lady. If you expose your bobby and other private parts of your body just to get likes and cheap comments on social media, you are a Garri lady. Guys are feeding their lust through your body. And just like that my friend would do, when that your boyfriend, boss, suger daddy and Facebook fans are done with you, they will dump you. They know you are not good to be a virtuous wife.
On the other hands, we have ' Bread ladies'. If you like, label them ' mumu ladies, or call them ' suegbe ladies' but they are wiser than you if you are a garri lady. They preserve their body and have made a vow that who so ever will 'tear their nylon' must be the man that have married them. They are not 'outside' like a displayed garri. They are inside the nylon of grace, godliness, personal values and integrity. They believe in inward virginity ( purity of heart) and outward virginity. They don't toil with sexual sins. They run away from every form of defilement. They dress beautifully, charming but not provocatively or in an adulterous manner. They vote for chastity.Allah is proud of them. The world may hate them, but they don't give a damn! They may call them different derogatory names, but they don't bother themselves. They have seen the future ahead and her grooming themselves for it. They will not allow their names to be part of the ' Guinness' book of record of ' Used and dumped' ladies. If they have any reason to walk out of any relationship, they walk out with their self esteem and honour for no guy can mock them that he has 'finished' them. Our world is in shortage of ' bread ladies' today. They are very few!
Hello sister , which side are you? . I offer you hope today, if you are a ' garri lady', you can make a decision to become a ' bread lady' today. Say bye bye to this reckless sexual immoral life. Those of you who are into courtship and you entered into that courtship as a bread lady but now you have become a garri lady behind the closed doors. Allah is calling you to repentance. Stop it!. Come back into your 'nylon'. Let your dignity be restored. If that guy can't wait till marriage before all those kissing, handling , romancing and sex, then let him go! . Finally to precious bread ladies, I charge you by the Rahman of Allah, don't allow any one, any guy, any hard situation or momentary gain change you to a garri lady. Thanks for reading and adjusting where necessary.
Politics / Pmb, The Great Economist by Olufonade: 2:51pm On Apr 16, 2016
PMB, THE ECONOMIST!
PMB has done it again. The school cert holder (?) has done what a PhD holder could not.
Very simple economics. We buy most of our goods from China, so why must we pay the Chinese in dollars? The Chinese buy a lot of crude oil from us, so why must they pay us in dollars?
So PMB made a deal with the Chinese. We pay for the goods we buy from China in Yuan, the Chinese currency. They buy our crude oil and pay in Yuan.
The exchange rate is to be pegged at 30 Naira to one Yuan or RMB.
So how does it favour us? Simple.
The Yuan is now 6.48 to a dollar. So if you pay 30 Naira to the Yuan, that would be equivalent to 194.4 Naira to the dollar.
Since the dollar exchanges for 199 Naira, you save N4.6. That is 199 - 194.4 = 4.6. Simple, huh?
In simple terms, PMB has just strengthened the Naira by 9.15%!
And that's not the end of the story. As we begin to deal in the Yuan, the demand for dollar would plummet and this in turn would weaken the dollar. It might crash to around 140 Naira to the dollar.
May God bless PMB. Can I hear an amen?!

The rail project was not inthe original budget. But it was included in the amended version sent to NASS (after it had been sucessfully defended by Udoma Udo Udoma when the Executive were doing amendment to the first padded budget). Senator common sense should also have told us why the money meant for electricity transmission was diverted to buying tricycle, digging boreholes and building townhalls in constituencies. COMMON SENSE IS NO LONGER COMMON.

Politics / The Mind Of Wailers By D-one Ayekoto by Olufonade: 1:53pm On Apr 02, 2016
They hate Buhari.....They can even kill him if they had the chance to.
They hate the war on corruption.
They now love boko haram.
They love Saraki.
They love Atiku.
They love Fayose.
They detest Aregbe.
They love Wike
They hate Amaechi.
They hate Obj
They hate Tinubu
They celebrated Audu's death
They blame Buhari for Padding
They asked Buhari to sign Summary
They complain about fuel scarcity
They blame Tinubu for scolding Kachikwu
They were expecting Kachikwu to insult Jagaban....How disappointed they are?
They called Jonathan a saint
Jonathan and co. are refunding their loots.
They love Diezani.
They celebrate Iweala
FFK is their prophet
Okorocha is their enemy
Ngige is their detractor
They love Tompolo
They hate Nigerian Army
And in all of these, their chorus is "is this the change we voted for?"
That is how mysterious an average wailer is......They're career sadists and enemy of decency!!!!
One moment they say they are Biafrans, the other moment, they say there are British!!!
One moment they say FFK hate them. Later, they say FFK is their man. They will say Kachikwu is not theirs but call for Kachikwu's resignation, they will say you hate them. To them, Dasuki is from Aba, Okorocha is from Kano.
Their complaint is that they hate Nigeria and want her dissolved. Ask them for solution they will tell you 'Concede Power to us, let's lead Nigeria.'
So Science and Technology is not good, Labour Ministry is bad and there's nothing in Foreign Affairs. Yet they didn't complain when Jonathan gave them Labour....yet no wahala.
They will wonder why Yorubas are not supporting Saraki but worry less about why they hate Amaechi so much!
Hatred is a vehicle that can only take its passenger to a destructive destination!
You can't sow hate and reap love! It is a natural law.
There's nobody that cannot rule Nigeria, if Jonathan can, if Gowon can, anybody can but no one can do it alone or use a vehicle of hate to get there!

Politics / We Won't Miss You If...... by Olufonade: 11:10pm On Mar 27, 2016
WANNA DIE WRONGFULLY? WE WON'T MISS YOU...
In case you are hell bent on dying
'wrongfully', consider these footnotes:
1. Between 2007 and 2010, Tinubu spent virtually his last kobo to ensure he sent Segun Oni out of the Ekiti State Government House. He did. Today, Oni is the National Vice Chair of APC, a party same
Tinubu, not another one o, is the national leader.
2. Audu Ogbe once told opposition parties there was no vacancy in Aso Rock. He was national chair of the ruling PDP then. Today, he is a minister under a government being controlled by that same opposition.
3. Tinubu once told Obasanjo that he was the "problem of Nigeria". But same Tinubu went to Obasanjo that they had finished the construction of the opposition ship. They wanted him to be the navigator! The old fox readily accepted.
4.Nasir el-Rufai, the diminutive governor of Kaduna State, once told Buhari that he was not a presidential material. Today, not only is Buhari president but the loquacious el- Rufai is a governor on Buhari's party. He bashes PDP to no end nowadays.
5. Fayose and Fayemi once mounted same rostrum, campaigning in Ekiti with Fayose
carrying placard at his father's burial in 2009 that they should vote for Fayemi. In 2014, same Fayose contested against Fayemi and sent him to the Former
Governors' Club.
6. Majority of top politicians shouting 'APC, Change!' were shouting 'PDP, Power!' in 2011!
Now, all these took place within the last TWELVE years! Not that they took place before you were born hence, you did not witness them. Therefore, if you still want to kill yourself because of Wike or Amaechi, please go ahead.
BY THE TIME THEY ARE BACK IN SAME PARTY IN 2019, WE WILL BE MARKING THE THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF YOUR STUPID BUT TIMELY DEATH!

Politics / My Honest Advice For APC Government by Olufonade: 9:13am On Jan 07, 2016
After carefully studying the APC political situation in the country and their agenda especially at Federal level, I arrived at the following conclusions or piece of advice which I believe if they follow them will make them succeed.

> You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks. So, don't mind them

> Haters/critics will see you walking on water and say it's because you can't swim. So, ignore them

> Even if you dance on water, they (haters/critics) will accuse you of raising dust. That is their logo

> Make it your priority to lead a quiet gov't, to mind your business and to work with your all strength. God will lead you.

> Remember don't ever wrestle with a pig. You will both get dirty, but the pig will enjoy it. Don't be embarassed.(Lai Muhammad and co-spokespersons)

> Allow your work to defend and fight for you

> Be wise and be smart

Have a splendid and blissful day ahead.

The picture here is only intended to show those hypocrites who are religious bigots that it is not only Muslim who wear religious dressing on camp and nothing happens to them. So they need to remove the log of wood in their own eyes first before complaining about Muslim hijab. Recently there were reports that hijab has been banned in nysc camps in the country. This appeared a good news in the camp of those who wanted it banned in the country (majority of whom are christians and other non-hijab wearing faithfuls) and a sad news for those whose faith is being put into a serious experimental dissection. From one social media to another, people have been showing glimpse of how isolated a corper with hijab looks like. I came accross one and I felt that it be shared with nigerians. My question is: can we also allow this in our nysc camps?

Mogidi:

Why didn't the tribunal hold in Taraba state?
This same tribunal is presently sitting in Abuja because of........yes you guessed it...because of security challenges, same reason PDP primaries could not hold in Taraba.
One thing that you people do not understand is the fact that APC did not go to court to challenge the result of the election (I mean the scores of the participants) but eligibility of the winner of the election. In sane party, one party member is expected to have taken up the responsibility of challenging his eligibility but because in PDP endorsement by leaders translates to winning. Even GEJ ran away from primary. Someone said Okorocha was also endorsed without primary. Well, tribunal cannot go into that because it was not on that basis that Okorocha was taken to tribunal. APC took Mr Ishiaku to court on eligibility ground and they (APC) were able to prove their points. So following Fayose argument, one will definitely miss the point raised by the petitioner. If there was insecurity in Taraba when the primary was expected to be conducted and was shifted to Abuja, what prevented the delegates to travel down to Abuja to have their intention known.
