Interesting thread. But for me, nothing still beats having a skill or going into buying and selling. If you have a good sum of money try importation. It works. If you don’t like risk or have challenges with raising big capital learn a skill. I started from PowerPoint presentation, graphic design and then a professional website designer. Thanks to Fiverr and other digital platform. If you are good at what you do sit back and take referrals.

My own candid opinion
Please go but.....
Acquire several land properties here in Nigeria before leaving, in a good place where you can easily resell.
This is something you can fall back on if anything doesn’t go well over there.
Your family can take care of the land.
If abroad is stable and you don’t want to come back you can easily sell your land and get your money back and start all over.
It simply means you are not putting all your eggs in one basket.

That money you have is good to start something in Nigeria but pls pls pls for the sake of your future kids.... don’t stay. Go and explore
