Attah Igala Alh.dr Aliyu Obaje Is Dead
The longest reigning First Class Traditional Ruler in Nigeria, the Attah Igala, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Aliyu Ocheja Obaje is dead. He died in his palace on Monday at the age of 102, having spent 56 years on the throne.

The late Attah Igala who was the chairman Kogi state tradition council and chairman Igala traditional council ascended the throne on November 2, 1956 as the 26th Attah Igala.

The Late Attah until his death was also the Chancellor, Moshood Abiola University.

In a statement signed by the Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris Wada, the Attah Igala Dr. Aliyu Ocheja Obaje, CFR, died in the afternoon of July 16, 2012, at the age of 102 years.

olulove: The Kaduna State Government
on Monday relaxed the 24-hour
curfew imposed on the state
following a gradual return of
peace to the state.
A statement signed by the
Special Assistant, Media, to the
Governor, Mr Reuben Buhari,
said the curfew was relaxed by
four hours on Monday to allow
movement of people between
noon and 4 p.m.
It also said that movement
would be allowed between 7
a.m. and 4 p.m. in Kaduna South,
Kaduna North, Igabi and Chikun
local government areas as from
Tuesday.
Residents of the remaining 19
local government areas,
according to the statement, are
allowed to move around
between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The 24-hour curfew was
imposed on the state following
bomb attacks on three churches,
ECWA Church, Wusasa, Zaria; CKC,
Sabon-Gari, Zaria and the Shalom
Church of God Trikania, Kaduna.
Although the curfew was initially
relaxed on June 18, it was
reinstated the following day due
to fresh violence in the state
capital.

axle81: @ sheriffman please stop giving wrong information....there was no such thing as people being locked up in 'Gate'which does not exist as i was born and bred in kaduna and have never heard of such a place! please stop spreading false stories and rumours.....that's what makes people panic unnecessarily!

DivideUs: kai mallam as a muslim you do not have the luxury of insulting jesus (prophet isa p.b.u.h) mind what you say for you are no muslim if you do not believe in him. i keep advising people please try to live in peace cos a muslim - xtian fight anywhere in northern nigeria will not be fair to............ pls be warned, more than 70% of north is muslim, in kaduna its a ratio of 7:1 do the math. please we don't need this. all this internet warriors please stop deceiving people, i can tell you this, if this wahala continues and a stupid not really learned mallam declare this jihad then even the most fearful muslim will be on the streets and thats the end. dont pray for it!!
