Olumain4: Hello House! I’m interested in applying for a visit visa to the UK. I’m fortunate to have a sibling who is ready to sponsor my entire trip, and I plan to stay for a duration of 2 weeks.
I’m curious to know if I need to provide my bank account details as part of the application process. If so, what should be the minimum balance in my account?
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on this matter. Thank you!

EstherOA: . Certainly, you'll be required to submit your account statement. The required amount depends on factors like your earnings, savings, etc., considering you have a sponsor. You don't need an excessive amount, but having a reasonable sum is advisable. Thanks |

francophone134: using new rate as a basis for denial is highly unjustifiable. When I submitted, rate was 345, now 536. Is difference not significant. Is currency suppose to increase in that manner? My POF of 81k cad has turned 46k cad. Mtcheeww.... Its not their business, do you think they will allow you to enter their country without enough POF. It is your country's fault that you have a weak currency. |

macdeeza: A friend just submitted study permit application last week with a proof of funds based on the old naira to CAD$ exchange rate With this new naira rate, his POF appears grossly insufficient. Does any one has an idea what he can do in this situation. If they access him based on the old rate, he will scale through but the new rate will cut his POF almost by half. Please I need suggestion before his eligibility starts They will use the new rate, last time i checked 1cad is 512niara. |

Family › Re: Why Are Men Becoming Lazy And Un-productive. by Olumain4: 4:11pm On Jun 12, 2023 |
Nice2023: I don't think some men here would take this, there is a growing trend among Nigerian men of today.
And that trend is lazying around, leaving all serious domestic responsibilities for women to carry. Go to every streets in Nigeria now,u will see men,I mean married men doing virtually nothing and feeling good about their new found life, that is,not working and not earning any form of income and wouldn't like to learn any form of trade.
The agonising part is that, they now rely on what the woman or their wives rake in just to survive. Many women especially the married ones are now competing with young girls in having boyfriends all around just for the money to take care of one lazy bunch at home.
Men,rise up to the occasion and stop killing your wives with over work and help them to grow and make them better wives devoid of infidelity. It is ur actions that is pushing ur wives outside.
Stop wasting the little u have on betnaija shops and expect nothing back because u are simply wasting away.
Some of u here may not find this one easy but that is the truth. If you say men are lazy nowadays, thats because the men you see around you are the lazy ones. If the general population of men in the world or Nigeria in particular are truly lazy, then there would be a pandemic. The problem is that you failed to appreciate men with small and tiny jobs that i think you look at them with disdain. Lets start from public transport to farmers to hunters to engineers, to IT support to rig drillers to well diggers to miners to .....blah blah blah even fashion industry where population of women are higher but men own majority of these fashion companies People dont appreciate men for their work and men never cared whether they apprepriate them or not as compared to women. Women/females make too much noise as if they do everything. If you go to the market, you will see majority to be women but you will still see men there. Afterall who will carry the food from north down to south day and night over a very long distance. Men runing around in market to carry heavy loads. Men butchering animals such as cows and goats etc to sell to people. We have minority of women here Goto big companies, so you think just because a woman is the general manager, she can truly run the company, No. Men who are loyal held up the company but no one took notice of that. What they saw is the woman doing a great job. Assuming a woman is the president of a nation, tell me, do you think she can rule the country if she does not have men's protection or men loyal to her. If men decide to take her head from the seat of leadership, nothing can save her. You see if men run the world like this, Minority of men will be lazy as we also have women to be lazy. You just have to look at the angle you see things. Just because you see some people drinking beer at a parlor in the evening doesnt mean every one of them is lazy. Everything is just your perception of viewing however you should not limit it to your locality or make conclusion based on your view of men. If you want to defeat your enemy country, just target all the men. Its game over Therefore, I disagree with your views of things. Bye |

zubizareta: Ohk. Already listed what your sponsor shud submit to show he is financially capable and also how to show relationship with sponsor. Your bro could transfer your living expenses to you and you do a gift deed. Since it's a 2 years course, he could Even send balance of 1st year tuition then the rest be in his acct. What do you plan to show as home/economic ties? Since you work, it's expected you contribute something significant to your funding. Show your employment letter, pay slips, introduction/reference letter from employer and study leave if u are using your job as an economic/home tie great bro. maybe you can help me go through my 7 pages letter of explanation. (no pictures yet, but all writting in place) |

zubizareta: 1st question is who is the sponsor to you? You have to prove relationship with the person. he or she will provide evidence to show source of money, birth certificates of related to you, evidence of previous commitments and pictures of you and sponsor. It's always easier if sponsor is your sibling, spouse or parents. If sponsor is working, pay slips, employment letter, shud all be added along with statement of acct, if into business, then cac docs, invoices, receipts will all help your case. Most importantly, in your sop give more details about your sponsor with regards to his family if he is single or married so VO can clearly work out what he expects the sponsor to have in his acct. Let's say you are claiming your sponsor is sponsoring as much as 25k cad and he is a family man with 3 kids and he submits a SOA of 28k, that might not fly. Abi sponsor no go fend for his family again? So you have to put all this into consideration especially as you are going for a 2 years course. VO will want to be satisfied that sponsor has excess so as to make funds for your second year tuition readily available.
Also don't know your study Gap. If you have been working for a while, then it will be a red flag to have full sponsorship.
From what you wrote, 2 years tuition is 20k cad Living expenses 20k cad Miscellaneous 4k That's total of 44k. So work out whst sponsor is bringing to the table and what is coming from you, do a break down clearly in your SOP. Thanks Sponsor is my direct sibling, single at the moment I ve been working since 2021 but i dont have much, like 600k, because i bought some properties some months ago. my sibling is ready to do full sponsorship. Any way to deal with this red flag you mentioned? |

Ekeowacollins01: Good evening everyone... please I got an offer of admission for masters program which will be starting in fall i.e September 2023. I am currently a corps member and supposed to pass out in November 2023. Please is there any way I can conclude my nysc in time to meet up with the program if my study permit is approved. Also do I need to explain the NYSC situation in my SOP during study permit application. To the best of my knowledge. Apply for visa, if your visa is approved, great. Then pay for a year and try to defer to winter. Or you can msg the school if you can defer first before you pay I dont think there is a way to fast track nysc. I maybe wrong. Tell your regional coodinator about your situation. |

Dessymond394: The number of pages doesn't matter. Everyone's story is different As long as your LOE or SOP contains all the required details If you have many pages, you would merge and compress the pages so the storage space of the pages wont be large cos using the Gc key portal, your uploads should not be more than 4mb.. Thank you |

Dessymond394: In the previous application I didn't add birth certificate or attestationof birth of my sponsor, I added just his international passport in the last application. I didn't add notarized affidavit of relationship,I didn't add a notarized gift deed document , I didn'tadd recent pic of my brother(sponsor) and I and lastly I didn't add any proof of financial assistance in the past.. All these i added now as I plan to submit the application in few days for September intake.. I have a strong feeling that I will get my visa approved this time cos I dotted all the i's and crossed all the T's and I also quoted the gcms reason the immigration officer gave AND I did a LOE to list the new documents and pictures added to tackle the previous refusal.. Sir..how many pages is loe in total |

Good day everyone. I have few questions to ask again.
my letter of explanation is 7 pages excluding proof such as certificates and other document.
Is it okay?
If I add all my proof documents below the letter as explained and referred from the letter above, I feel like everything will be up to 30 pages.
Is it okay?
Please kindly give suggestions If I am on the wrong path? |

Hello everyone, kindly help solve this issue. My sponsor gifted me all my first year expenses (tuition + other expenses) 1. What is the duration of the bank account statement I should print for study permit?. 2. Will zero opening balance affect my study permit grant
My reason for asking is because the account is a savings account which had few or no transaction in last 2 months until the gifts.
3. Is less than a month duration okay?
3. Is it necessary to pay part of my school fee to increase study permit grant chances?
I appreciate if i can get several response and suggestion from everyone. Thank you. |
