How much do you think it will cost him to visit Canada for.. let say a week and come back to Nigeria? did the poster say that was his only source of income |

justwise: Anybody can walk into any of those countries without being asked about salary or work. Your ability to return back to Nigeria is not tested by any means. this is my testimony, those were the countries I went to and applied for US visa, and was granted. Have never been anywhere, the sorry state of visa denials is due to illegality of our people absconding. |

That doesn't count in the real sense of travel history because no requirement is needed. Really, when I applied for US visa the only travel history I had was Ghana, Togo and Benin. |

Are84: Good day to guru in this house.
Is it possible for a civil servant earning 50k without any travel experience secure a tourist visa?
Looking forward to your reply why not, but first, you need to build a travel profile. Start with African countries and especially visa free countries. |

You are not required to attend. If you wish, you may send your passport containing your valid visa or a copy of your visa with your wife to her interview. This is also not required.

Please guys do you have an idea if I will be granted the visa? even if it's for migration being positive is not a deterrent. As long you have funds to take care of yourself self and not be a burden to the State, you are good to go. |
Properties › Re: Help: Crazy Nepa Bill In My New Apartment In Ibadan by olumig(m): 6:04pm On Mar 30, 2018 |
Jawshua: I got inspired to write and pursue this after reading this post here:
www.nairaland.com/4424406/how-customer-stood-ground-against/
Now to my story.
I moved to a new house in Ibadan in May, 2017. The building has 7 flats and I occupied one of the flats.
On moving in, the landlady told me that she already paid for 7 prepaid meters for each of the flats and they will be installing them as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, the transformer of my area was faulty from May till December 25th, 2017. It was eventually fixed by the community, not PHCN (NEPA).
Then, in February of 2018, the man who collected the money for the prepaid meter brought some Nepa bills for each of the flats saying that we need to pay #3000 each for "loss of revenue". This fee is to cover for the power we're consuming pending the time that our prepaid meter will be ready.
Also, we'll be paying #2000 monthly per flat while our prepaid meter is processing.
I said no. The others tenants also stood their ground.
This man then went to bring more officials to justify his actions. This time around, they added that they can remit the money for us.
This is a new house and it's obvious that they are not being truthful.
The receipt they gave us is not attached to any meter number. No A/C no. Nothing. Just a stamp that contains a name and phone number.
I see this as daylight robbery and corruption because it's obvious that they are deliberately delaying the prepaid meters for their selfish interest.
What steps can I take to correct this?
These guys are threatening to disconnect my power supply. I'm not bothered because I use a solar inverter to power my flat.
I just want to let these guys know that they are wrong. I want to take this up.
I've the phone numbers, email address, and address of IBEDC. What are the steps to take before I write a petition and start this long process. Why don't you visit any of their customer care office near you or send a mail of your complaint to customercare@ibedc.com for speedy resolution of the issue. |

jiggaz: lol... Good morning bro... Plz i wanna ask you a question on behalf of a relative. He is planning to visit America with b1/b2 visa. He told the embassy that he is coming for a 1 month vacation but he intends to work 6 months in America before coming back.. He plans to do menial jobs though ( blue collar) like Working in Care givers ( old people's home) or Walmart... Is this possible considering he's on b1/b2 visa without identification or SSN for work? Will immigration officials catch him and deport him?
Plz second question, is it possible for someone to apply for American Green Card after exhausting his 10 year multiple entry visa to America ( b1/b2) ? He doesn't plan to live there oo. Just to be going and working every 6 months, then come back. Plz ur reply will be much appreciated. Thank you bro. it's people like your friend dey spoil market for genuine B1/B2 visa aspirations |

haywhy1: You can't drive with the Nigerian drivers license.... Its better you process the international drivers license before coming down. It is acceptable for international drivers during their short stay. It normally takes few days in processing... All you need is your current drivers license, 2passport photographs and processing fee...... I hope this helps? Certain States allow you to drive with Nigeria Driver license like California. |

I'm not bored enough to get into a wed debate on the pros and cons between Texas (I've lived there, have you?)and California (where I've probably lived in longer than you).
In any case I prefer to live in Oluyole any day but na condition make Crayfish bend. I live in Oluyole, home is home any day, but for the bad roads, power issue, insecurity though better than some areas...... |
