Dakar embassy allow other countries within their jurisdiction to use their embassy. Same as the Abuja embassy. It’s just that Nigeria isn’t part of their jurisdiction

From my research:
The Portuguese don't joke with their holidays.
From early December till Mid January, they will return to Portugal for the end of year holidays. Then in August till mid September another home coming for the summer holidays. During those periods, the Embassies will be "closed". I plan to work around their holiday periods.

It seems the Nigerian Embassy is not in a hurry to even start issuing Visa this year. It's February and they are still booting-up.

I stand to be corrected but I don't think even 1 Job-Seeker Visa has been approved from Nigeria.

What do you think can be done boss? Should we keep waiting for the embassy? Pls let's share ideas on way forward and how to go about it.

Tried going to Dakar to apply, but you need citizenship (or residency, I’m not sure) to use their embassy.


Why has the Abuja embassy refused to work? What exactly is there problem?

Imagine Dakar refusing other countries to use their embassy and Portugal embassy in Abuja allow other countries but Portugal embarrassed in Abuja has refused to open. What's really going on with them?
