What I wrote there is a fact. Civilians see major as a very big rank. Majors may even call themselves senior officers, but senior officer in the Nigerian military starts from Lt. Colonel. Major and below are junior officers. That is why they must attend and pass the senior course before they can be promoted to Lt. Colonel. Ask any military man and he'll tell you same.
This guy is right. Major has respect amongst the non commissioned soldiers. Majors are usually used for the dirty work and they command most battalions hence why they can be commandants. But in military commissioned officers level they are still small boys. Even captains. Senior officers are red neck guys and above. Lt col. And it is hard to reach.

The words in bold are false. There's never a position like that in Chevron. In Chevron Corporation, Africa and Middle-East are different world's apart; they're totally in different SBUs. It's just like saying an individual doubles as Police Chief in 2 different states in Nigeria. That statement is false for 2 reasons: (1.) There's no office in the NPF as Police Chief. (2.) Administrative wise, it is impossible to be the no. Police officer in 2 different states.

So, it'd either you're blatantly lying or your friend is lying to you.
That said. Coming to think of it, it is rare for you to be withdrawn in 100 level but it is possible. For those asking and talking about carry overs, in those days and I believe up till now (let's be honest the syllabus we use is the same from the 60s), medical students are not allowed to 'Carry over'. You have to pass every course before allowed to move to the next level. So if you fail the first time you are given a resit. If you fail your resit you are allowed to repeat the year. If you fail the year you are withdrawn. Except 100 level. In 100 level you cannot repeat you will be asked to change your course if you get less than 40 in any course, as they believe you would have difficulty going forward. But thats medilag though and that was donkey years ago.

Well you may be right, I was not in chevron I'm a doctor. But what I know is he started of in Chevron in Nigeria in 1997. And he spent half his time in the middle east. I know he worked and rose up the ranks in natural gas till he headed the department. The countries his position extended i cant say but he spent half his time in the mid east. Now he owns a oil consulting firm. Anyway the story is this guy was initially in med school and that's fact the rest is history.
EducationRe: I Have Been Withdrawn From Medical School. I Can't Tell My Parents by olusegxz: 2:04am On Jun 04, 2020
Hi firstly what I want to tell you is time heals all wounds and sometimes you do not know the plans God has for you. I am a doctor and I practise in Australia. I trained in the College of Medicine Unilag. Firstly except you are over motivated to be a doctor trust me there are a lot more career opportunities better than being a doctor. It is a noble but strenuous profession. So don't think it is end. Let me tell you a short story. In my 300 level what we call part 2, I have 5 resit examination at once. People told me to forget medicine that I can never pass 5 resits at once. A friend who had just 1 resit encouraged me greatly, made me believe I could do it. We were reading constantly no sleep. I mean constant TDB (till day break) for 6 weeks. The exams came I did my best. Result came to my greatest shock I passed. But now the shocker. My friend who had 1 resit failed. Nobody could believe it. This guy is brilliant I mean he thought ALL of us. We even petitioned for his script to be remarked. He was devastated. He lost his faith would not eat. I tried to encourage him. He was given a limited offer to switch to microbiology or wait a year fighting the results that may still turn out the same afterwards. He took microbiology. Anyway he went on and got a first class in microbiology. His starting career was as a pioneer researcher in biofuels for chevron. He got the job before we finished medical school (true story). Because he had done 3 years in medicine before he was withdrawn he had to do only 2 years in micro to finish. While we had 4 more years in med school. This guy used to 'stop by' to give us money. His first job gave him a brand new discovery II then, that time he was one of the first person driving that car in Lagos. Well now 10 years later he is head of natural gas in chevron (Africa and middle east), is a part of the management board of opec and consults for nnpc regularly. He is without a doubt the most successful of us all despite most of us being doctors in developed countries. Sometimes we joke and wonder how his life would have been if he remained in medicine. Bottom line if God says no don't be disheartened, keep your faith, whatever you do or find yourself go there and Excel. And tell your parents. If you need any other advice feel free to dm me. All the best in anywhere life puts you.

Romance11 Guaranteed Steps To Get A YES From Your BABE In 3 Months by olusegxz(op): 9:43am On Jun 18, 2019
There is a saying that goes if you know you know.

See relationships can be hard work but deciding WHO to be with should not be. Congrats so you have met the lady of your dreams. What next?

Well this is for you who don’t want to wait 2 years to pop the question. Follow these 11 steps to have her saying YES in just 3 months.

1. You have to be ready - Marrying someone in 3 months means you have to be ready. You have to seen as ready financially and mature emotionally. Marriage is not for boys.
2. Phone - Never put your phone on lock, purposely leave your phone unlocked and where she can see it. Do this from day 1. Yes it’s important. Women spend a large part of ‘making sure about the relationship’ to confirm if you are not a cheater. So hide nothing and don’t keep her wondering.
3. Take her to church every Sunday - Yes church. Women spend a long time trying to see if you are a God fearing man. No need for 20 bible quotes to her phone daily that would look desperate. Just make sure every friday you remind her that babe we must go to church on sunday o. On Sunday dress tight, native o. And show up at her door.
4. Show her you can cook - You think this is not important ehn. Don’t be fooled. To hasten things up to make her say yes to you in 3 months, you have to be the man in her dreams. Yes you want a wife who will make Amala and ewedu for breakfast but Oga for this 3 months plan ehn sorry you must sabi cook oh. So she knows if she suddenly falls ill, or feels tired you won’t burn the house down.
5. Be outgoing but homely - No woman wants a boring husband. So abeg make sure you go places together, visit friends together, travel together at least twice even if na ghana just show her that her life won’t be that of a boring house wife.
6. Take her to your work place and to meet your boss - Yes o. Let her know where you work. Ladies spend years wondering if your money is stable. Not awon boys type of plenty money today nothing tomorrow. Take her to your work, say babe stop by at my office later today let me introduce you to my boss.
7. Call her ‘My Wife’ all the time - Not wifey oh, not wife. My Wife. Anytime you see am say My Wife as though you are joking. Trust me deep down she know say no bi joke o. And she knows you have made up your mind on her when she hears it frequently.
8. Be romantic - Say nice things about her to her. No need to be over zealous about it just be yourself.
9. Take her to family functions - Yes as many as possible. Take her home to mama. Start wearing matching cloths by now. Address her to everyone as my wife. Let her be comfortable around you and your peeps. Let her be sure your family wants her. Don’t leave any doubt.
10. Then buy a ring and propose on one knee preferably in a private beach planned by 3 of your friends and 3 of hers. So this proposal you have to do it in public. Surprise her but also let her know something is coming. Write out your proposal on paper and read it to her on one knee. Be sincere o. Let her feel your sincerity. Then open the ring.
11. Then last but not the least. For the most important part of all continue in www.elitevirgo.com

Christianity EtcRe: Jehovah's Witnesses: Why Are Blood Transfusions So Bad? by olusegxz: 10:21am On Feb 13, 2019
Witnesses,

When I heard that Serena Williams almost died during the birth of her child, I couldn’t understand why a strong and rich lady like her in a first world country would face such difficulties. When I learned that she is a Jehovah's Witness I immediately understood what the problem was.

Please help me to understand why blood transfusions are so bad. What makes you think that God is against life-saving blood transfusions? Why would God give doctors the wisdom to perform life-saving blood transfusions and then forbid his followers from accepting them?

Please don’t just copy and paste content from apologetics websites. Use your own words and reasons to explain what you personally believe.

See also:

1. If the JWGB changed their stance on blood transfusion and a child close to you needed one, what would you do?

2. Jesus declared all foods to be clean, according to the gospels. This would include blood.[/quote]
