Episode 16
Lucian entered the room gently, he wasn’t surprised to see Alyssa sleeping uncomfortably, he knew she would be worried about him. But he couldn’t leave Shannon at that moment, just for old time sake.

He walked closer to Alyssa and lifted her from the chair, he carried her and placed her on the bed. She let out a sleepy groan and he smiled, he arranged her scattered hair and lean closer to her, he placed his lips on hers kissing her gently. He kissed her so sweetly in her sleep, after a while he stood up and left her.

Alyssa opened her eyes and was surprised to see Lucian staring back at her, she immediately moved into him and hugged him tightly.

”I missed you” She muttered which made him chuckle.

”Really?”

”Yes, I thought you left me” She pouted and he pulled away from the hug caressing her cheeks.

”That’s never going to happen Alyssa, am never leaving you. I won’t” He said.

”Promise?”

”Yeah, promise” He smiled and pecked her lips.

She smiled and got up from the bed.

”Should I come help you take your bath?” Lucian teased.

”What? No” she immediately walked off and Lucian chuckled.

Just then he felt the pain in his chest, he groaned and held it tightly. It was so painful and hard like a sword piercing hardly on his chest. After a minute, it stopped and he breath out.

He got up and went out of the room, he appeared in an unusual forest covered with only trees, he around like he was looking for someone and finally Rodolfo appeared, his two hands behind him. He let out the smirk-like smile which made Lucian more angry.

”Good to see you here” Rodolfo smirked again.

”It’s bad seeing you, why did you wake up in the first place?” Lucian said and Rodolfo frowned.

”If I were you, I won’t say that again” Rodolfo said with no expression.

”The pain, get rid of it. How can a good father think of killing his own son??!!” Lucian yelled.

”No good father will think of killing his own son, what pain are you talking about?” Rodolfo asked.

Lucian touched his chest.

”Why? Do you hate me that much?”

”If you think I am behind that, then you shouldn’t. I don’t know anything about the pain in your chest Lucian” He groaned.

”Then why can’t I get rid if it? Why can’t I use my powers on it? Tell me!!!!” Lucian yelled angrily and the trees made a loud sound as the wind blew over.

Rodolfo smirked and moved closer to him.

”That’s only a bond, because I died the same way falling in love with a human. And since you are my son, it’s going to repeat itself. Do you think I hated you when I warned you not to fall in love with that human?

I even threatened you but you were hardheaded, you will only get hurt if you love that human. It may be true she’s different, but that doesn’t change the fact that she’s human.” Rodolfo explained and Lucian stares at the ground.

”I love her” He muttered.

”Then you will die”.

”Is there any way to destroy the bond? I can’t leave her, she’s innocent and helpless” Lucian said.

”Destroy the bond. There is no way, just leave that human and let her go. That’s the only way” Rodolfo said and then disappeared.

Lucian breath out trying to control his tears, he shouldn’t cry. He’s not even scared of death, his heart only feels for Alyssa right now. If he dies, what will happen to her?

He appeared back into the room, Alyssa banged into the room angrily and sadly at the same time. Some tears could be seen forming in her eyes already.

”What happened? Did someone hurt you?” Lucian asked immediately moving closer to her.

She immediately wiped her tears and shook her head.

”No, am fine” she muttered.

He ignored her and went into her mind, he frowned.

”Lenora” he said walking out of the room.

”Luther no, stop am fine” Alyssa ran after him but he didn’t stop.

Lenora groaned the moment she heard a knock on her door, she stood up and walked to the door. She opened and smiled immediately.

”Brother” She said happily.

”Guess you are happy to see me” Lucian scoffed and walked into the room.

”What are you doing here?” She asked.

”Am here because of Alyssa” He said and she rolled her eyes before sitting down on the bed.

”I don’t see any reason why you don’t like her, I don’t want to know the reason Lenora. I hate it when she try being friendly and you snub her off, if you are really my sister and you want me to keep on being your brother, then you have to accept her too. I can’t choose you over her, so you should better learn to accept having her around. She’s just an innocent human, why hating her?” Lucian stopped.

”Are you really, scolding me because of that human?” She asked in tears.

”The woman I love!!” Lucian yelled angrily and she flinched.

That will be first time her brother will ever yell at her and it broke her heart.

”You should better start liking her, or you also start ignoring me too. I won’t take that from you, take it or leave it, she’s staying here. If you are not comfortable with her being here, then you leave for her” Lucian said.

”What? I should leave?”

”If you are not comfortable with her and not ready to speak to her or respect her, then leave” Lucian said and walked out of the room.

Lenora sniffed in and wipe her tears before burying her face in the pillow.

”You shouldn’t have done that, she’s hurt” Alyssa said to Lucian as she sneaked into Lenora’s room, she was still weeping silently.

”I don’t care, she’s rude to you. I can’t allow that!” Lucian snapped.

”Not by telling her to leave” Alyssa said.

”Not like I meant that, I only threatened her” Lucian said
Alyssa sighed.

”I won’t allow her treat you like you are nothing, she should better learn to respect you, I don’t joke with what’s mine” He said and walked away.

Alyssa sighed but a little smile escape her lips.

”Shannon?” He called.

Shannon ran toward him and hugged him tightly to herself, he was speechless with the way she tighten her grip on him. He didn’t move.

”I missed you so much Lucian, you promised to come back, but you didn’t” She said in tears and Lucian suddenly felt guilty. He hugged her back.

”I really missed you so much” Shannon muttered again.

They were like that for few minutes before disengaging.

Lucian wiped her tears and smiled.

”You must have missed me so much, how did you know I was here?” He asked.

”I just found myself here, I guess am going to die if I don’t see you that moment” Shannon said.

”You can’t” Lucian chuckled.

”The flower” Shannon said.

”Oh, it’s for Alyssa. You want some too?” He asked.

‘When did he become this caring?’ Shannon thought.

”Alyssa” Lucian muttered as he listened to her thought.

”I see, that human changed you” Shannon said.

Lucian ignored what she said and handed over the flower to her.

”It smell really good” She said.

”Yeah, come on” Lucian said and they both walked out of the store.

”How have you being?” Shannon asked as they entered the car together.

”Great, you?”

”Sad, worried, broken...” she burst into tears.

”Stop Shannon” Lucian said.

”But that’s the truth, I missed you so much. I feel so empty without you, that human took you away from me.”

”Don’t bring her into this, you caused it.”

”That’s not true, I know you Lucian, even if I didn’t hide the truth from you, it wasn’t going to change anything.”

Lucian sighed and held her hand.

”It’s time for you to move on Shannon, you are...”

”No I don’t want to, I can’t, I want you, I don’t mind being your mistress. Let me just stay by your side, I feel so empty without you” Shannon said and hugged him.

Lucian sighed as she cried on his shoulder, what is he going to do about her right now?

”Shannon, stop the tears” He said.

”Until you take me back, I won’t” She said staring into his eyes.

”But I can’t.”

”She doesn’t even give you what you want, you also need me Lucian, and you know that” Shannon said.

”No, I don’t” He said and started the car.

”Where are we going right now?” Shannon asked.

”Am taking you home Shannon, you need to rest. And please forget about me” Lucian said.

”You are throwing me off again, why? Am I that ugly that you don’t want me? Do I suddenly make you...”

”Shannon stop!!!” Lucian yelled and she broke into tears again.

”I...I think, am going crazy already, I am going crazy” She muttered and buried her face in her palm.

The rest of the drive was silent until Lucian stopped in front of her house.

”We are here” Lucian said but got no response.

He turned and discovered she was asleep, or maybe too weak to walk?

He got down from the car and carried her into the house.

He entered her room and dropped her on the bed, he sighed and turned to leave. Shannon grab his hand weakly.

”Please, don’t leave me” She muttered gently.

”Stay with me, Lucian” She said again.

”It’s okay, you should sleep. Am not going anywhere” Lucian said.

”Thank you” She replied and immediately slept off while Lucian sat down watching her.

Her eyes followed him as he carried his bag and walked out of classroom just like other students, it’s closing hour already.

She also watched as Lenora went out, she sighed and carried her backpack also going out.

”Get out of the way! Freak!” one of the students shouted at her.

She turned and wasn’t surprised to see Nora, the school biggest bully. But she’s more surprised that she have never tried confronting Lenora, does she know about her power?

”Am sorry” Isla murmured and gave way for Nora and her crew to pass, everyone knows her, she hardly talk.

She continue walking and right in front of her is Lenora staring at the new student Austin.

Just as many girls drooling, is she also one of them?

‘Isla, now is your opportunity to tell her‘ her mind whispered, but she’s not even bold enough to face Lenora.

She shook her head and went her way, maybe probably some other time she can tell her, Austin is nothing but a spy, a prey at that.

”Hey pretty witch” Austin said to Lenora.

”F**k off” Lenora muttered.

”Your driver is not here yet” Austin said.

”I said don’t talk to me, don’t you ever listen? Just leave me alone” Lenora said.

”I just...” he was interrupted when Lenora walked out on him.

Her driver just arrived.

He bite his lips.

‘Okay, you just failed this time‘ his mind whispered.

”Shut up Serafino!” he snapped.

That’s the name of his guardian wolf.

”Ooookay” Serafino replied.

Alyssa stared out of the window, why is he not home yet? It’s really late, and why is his phone switched off?

She couldn’t sleep without him, she sighed sadly and sat down on the nearest chair. She laid her head on the table gently and few minutes later, she fell asleep.

Lucian sighed still watching Shannon who is yet to wake up, it’s really getting late and he knew Alyssa will be so worried about him.

Just then Shannon opened her eyes slowly, she seemed surprised to see Lucian beside her.

”You stayed” She muttered and Lucian nodded before getting up.

”You’re awake, I should get going” He said.

Shannon also stood up.

”This won’t be the last time right?” She asked.

Lucian was quiet for some seconds, he didn’t say a word. Instead he pulled her closer and placed his lips on hers kissing her, old feelings all over her mind the moment his lips met hers. She also closed her eyes getting the best out of it.

She really missed his lips on hers, she missed his scent, she missed his taste, she missed him inside her, she missed everything.

After some minutes, he stopped and they both caught their breath.

”Forget about me Shannon, please” Lucian said and with that he walked out.

Episode 14
~~~~~~THOUSANDS YEARS AGO~~~~~~
”Let me go!!! Leave me alone!!!” Heather shouted as the guards grab her tightly>

”We are sorry young Miss, but the master won’t spare us if we don’t come home with you” One of the guards said.

”I promise I will go home, I have something to do please, let me go, I promise to return back home” Heather said in tears.

Heather is the daughter of one of the popular master in the town, her parents never allow her go out. She doesn’t have any friends, men always stay away from her to avoid her father’s wrath, in her own world she feel so lonely and dying inwardly.

Something her parents will never understand, they always tell her she’s different from other young girls of her age, she doesn’t need any friend.

”We are sorry young Miss” The guard said and carried her.

”Let go of me!!!” Heather cried as they carried her into chariot.

Rodolfo was watching the whole scene from a tree, he felt bad for her as he listens to her mind thoughts.

He immediately used his power to stop them, the chariot refused to move.

”Damn! What do we do right now? The master will be so angry with us” One of the guard said.

”We will walk then” Another one said.

Rodolfo smirked and stretched his hand to them, the blue light immediately made them fall into a deep sleep.

Heather gasped in fear.

”What the hell happened to them?” She asked herself.

Just then she felt someone behind her, she turned and immediately moved back in fear.

Her long hair scattered all over her face.

Rodolfo admired her, how can a human be so beautiful

”Who, are you?” Heather asked, he smirked.

Heather stood still watching him, is he really human? He look so handsome with those long hair of his, even though his two eyes wasn’t exposed, he still look amazing..

”Did you do that to them? Did you kill them?!” she yelled angrily.

Rodolfo smirked again and moved closer to her, she immediately moved back. Rodolfo touched one of the guards on the ground.

”They are sleeping soundly, why disturbing them with your noise?” Rodolfo asked and she gasped.

”Who are you? Please don’t hurt me, I promise to go home quietly” Heather burst into tears.

”You really want to go home?” Rodolfo asked.

She immediately looked up, she shook her head negatively.

”I don’t want to, it’s like prison” She muttered.

”Fine, let’s have fun together while they sleep” Rodolfo smiled.

”What? Really? Fun? You and I? Alone?” she asked and he nodded
She immediately got up and followed him.

~~~~~~~~~PRESENT MOMENT~~~~~~~~

Heather got up immediately the sun shine brightly on her eyes, she turned to her side. As expected, he was gone. She sighed and got up, she walked into the bathroom staring at her face in the mirror.

Her face is still the same, the same, she touched the mark on her neck, a tear dropped from her eyes as she remembered how Rodolfo gave her the mark and saved her, after getting bitten by the evil fox. He had to give up his demons because of her, but what did she do?

She left him, but it wasn’t totally her fault. Her parents would have done anything to get her back, even by hurting her son, she stayed back because she was pregnant. If she didn’t, her son wouldn’t have survived.

‘But you didn’t take care of him,’ her mind whispered.

”I did it to protect him,” she said and burst into tears.

”Lucian, am sorry” Alyssa said sadly, she had pushed him away last night.

Lucian hugged her from the back and placed a gentle kiss on her shoulder, she closed her eyes nervously trying to remain calm. She was just in a towel, her body was still wet from the recent bath.

”Alyssa, I can’t wait anymore” Lucian whispered and fear gripped her immediately.

Lucian lifted her up and walked toward the bed, she bite her lips so hard, she’s not ready for this, she’s going to get hurt.

He dropped her on the bed, he captured her lips, she reciprocated, his hand moved to her towel and untied it, she gasped and immediately unlocked from the kiss.

”Lucian wait” She said.

”I can’t” Lucian replied.

She immediately pushed him off.

”Am sorry” She muttered tying her towel back.

Lucian sighed and left the room.

”Why are you sorry?” Lucian asked.

”Last night”

”I don’t need your apology Alyssa, I need you, only you” Lucian replied before walking away.

Lucian got down from the car, he walked into the flower store.

”Wow!” He muttered as he checked them out. He took one and inhaled it.

"She will love this” He said to himself with a smile.

”Lucian” He suddenly heard his name.

He turned and was surprised.

”Shannon!”

Episode 13
"Lucian, Lucian” the voice keep on whispering into his mind. Lucian stood up out of frustration, he turned to see Alyssa fast asleep. He immediately bonded her into a more deep sleep and got up.

A strong wind carried him out of the room into the garden. Just then Rodolfo appeared right into the garden, Lucian was taken aback, does this devil sleeps at all? He wondered.

”No, I don’t” Rodolfo said out with a little smirk.

Lucian kept quiet starring at him, his hair covering half of his face, even his eyes is not exposed. They both were silent starring at each other until Rodolfo spoke up.

”You’ve really grown,” Rodolfo said and Lucian scoffed.

”What are you doing here?” He asked.

”That human...”

”Don’t mention her, she has nothing to do with this” Lucian cut him off.

”If you think am here because of what the council told you, it’s wrong. You will get hurt if you fall in love with her”.

”I don’t care, it’s my life not yours!” Luther cut him off.

”Give up on her or I hurt her.”

”Don’t you dare do that, I won’t forgive you” Lucian threatened and Rodolfo chuckled.

”Ahhrg!!!” Lucian groaned in pain and held his chest, he looked at Rodolfo.

”You are going to die slowly as you fall in love with that human, give up now or you die, like me” Rodolfo said and disappeared.

Lucian breath out immediately the pain in his heart left him, he sighed and went back in. Alyssa was still asleep, he opened the liquor on the table and gulped everything down.

He’s never going to give up on her, not because she’s his mate, but because he couldn’t let her go. The poor girl have no one, she was sold to him, he laid beside her and wrapped his arms around around her gently before closing his eyes.

Rodolfo suddenly appeared into the room, he stared at them for some minutes and then disappeared.

Lenora got out of her room making way to the dinning room, she keep on thinking of the new human in school, there’s definitely something strange about him and she’s going to find out.

Definitely going to find out everything, she sighed and adjusted her bag properly behind her.

She looked up and saw Lucian and Alyssa walking toward her, she stopped and stared at Alyssa for a second before proceeding.

”Morning brother” She murmured and walked away.

Alyssa sighed and faced Lucian.

”Why does she hate me so much?” She asked.

”Don’t worry about her, you are not here for her,” Lucian said and smiled.

Alyssa nodded but still wasn’t fine.

”I said you shouldn’t think too much, my head is so full of your thoughts right now. They are not even good ones, ” Lucian scoffed.

She hit him playfully.

”That’s not funny” She said.

”Nobody laughed” Lucian replied.

”Can we go out for a moment today please? Am bored” Alyssa said.

”Okay, we can” Lucian said.

Heather coughed and immediately rushed into the bathroom, she vomited blood again. She washed her mouth and fell on the floor, she held her chest tightly in tears.

She sighed and buried her face in her kneels, she’s really going to die soon. Without meeting her son, without feeling his touch.

She keep on crying without, Rodolfo watched her in silence, she didn’t see him. His eyes still filled with pure hatred, he trusted her, he loved her, even with his life. But she betrayed him.

He left without her notice again, he appeared in Lindsay’s library. He crossed his arms together as he walked round the Library.

He got to Lindsay and she immediately stood up.

”You are here” She muttered.

”Is my cousin scared of me now?” He smirked.

”No” She said.

”Really?” He asked and suddenly a hand from nowhere gripped her on the neck pinning her to the floor.

”Rodolfo, you need to stop, I can’t die right now” Lindsay said forcefully.

”I know, I just want you to feel the pain I felt, just because you lied!!!” He yelled and the hand pinned her more.

She let out a loud scream as blood started rushing down from her mouth.

”I did it because I couldn’t bring myself to tell you”.

”Why?”

”Because, I saw it, in your eyes, you loved her Rodolfo!” She cried out.

”No I don’t!!!” he yelled angrily.

”You did!!! You loved her, you did” She said.

Rodolfo released her and turned his back against her, he was in tears, a bloody tears. The dark blood pouring down his eyes.

IN THE CITY
Everyone was running all around as the rain and thunder keep on getting worst, the wind carrying cars, and collapsing the building.

”What is going on right now?” The people asked in fears.

The wind was getting worst.

”Rodolfo! You need to stop!! You’re destroying everything!!!” Lindsay yelled.

He opened his eyes and the wind threw Lindsay hitting her on the wall.

”Arrhhh!!!” She shouted and immediately passed out.

Rodolfo walked out of the Library immediately, he continue walking in the rain, everyone watching him hide in fear seeing his eyes and fingers.

”That’s, that’s, a monster ” A boy of five years said and his mother immediately covered his mouth with her palm.

Rodolfo couldn’t control himself no matter how he tried, his eyes keep on bringing out blood. And each blood drop, the humans die.

He let out a scream and immediately disappeared, he appeared in Heather’s house.

He was feeling weak.

Heather gasped and immediately ran to him.

”Rodolfo!” she shouted shaking him.

He faced her, his eyes was so weak that it closed immediately.

”Rodolfo!!!” She screamed out in tears.

”She was dying right in front of me. I had no other choice than to save her Lindsay” Rodolfo said.

”Now you are going to die while she live forever! She’s the human here!” Lindsay said.

”Do I have a choice?” Rodolfo muttered.

”What? You’re going to spare her?” Lindsay asked.

”Am going to spare her for now, because of my child. I don’t want him to get hurt” He replied and Lindsay sighed.

She knew everything is her fault, if she had told him the truth. Maybe he wouldn’t have go ahead with Heather, but Heather look so innocent, how could she think of doing that?

”So, you mean the reason behind his death, is my mother? Because she’s human?” Lucian asked and they all nodded.

”I think he’s torturing your dreams because of her” another one said pointing to Alyssa and Lucian nodded.

”I can handle this, I will be back. Maybe soon” Lucian said and held Alyssa’s hand gently.

”But Lucian...”

”No buts, I will be back when I want to. You can’t force me” He replied since he knew what they are about to say.

”Okay” They bowed.

He scoffed and immediately disappeared into the air.

”She look so innocent” One of the women said.

”Just like Heather, years back” another one replied.

”I pray Lucian doesn’t have the intention of fighting Rodolfo, he will only get hurt”.

”He wouldn’t do that, Rodolfo is really powerful right now”.

Just then a mighty wind from nowhere came upon them that everyone of them started trembling. And when it stopped, Rodolfo was right in their midst.

~~~~~~BACK INTO THE MANSION~~~~~~
Alyssa was so restless as she pace round the room, Lucian was not with her yet. The story she heard is really making her heart beat fast, what if Lucian become mean to her? What if his father decide to kill her because she’s human? A lot of things keep on coming to her mind, she just couldn’t help it.

‘Should I just run away?’ She asked herself and just then the door opened, Lucian entered. She immediately faced him.

”You are thinking of running away?” Lucian asked, she immediately shook her head.

”Am just, scared about the whole thing. What if your father try to hurt me? I can’t allow you fight your own father...”

”Stop Alyssa, just stop it. He wouldn’t dare try to hurt you, my mother is different from you, you are completely different. You are mine, nobody else’s but mine, don’t ever think of leaving again, okay?” He said and she sighed before nodding.

The way he keep on claiming her like His property make her chuckle.

”You’re my property” Lucian said and she frowned.

”Can you just stop going into my head? I need some privacy” She rolled her eyes.

”I can’t help it, I keep on hearing them. Why do you like thinking a lot?” Lucian asked.

”Every human thinks, stop acting like am the weird one here, it’s you who is weird!” She snapped.

”So you mean, every human think like you do? Why not say it out rather than speaking in their mind where nobody listens?” he asked.

”Do I have to tell you? Not like you are human or something” She said and he chuckled.

”You must be hungry” He asked.

”No am not, what about you?”

”My hunger is not of food” Lucian said and her heart skipped a beat.

”You are scared of becoming a witch? If I mate with you?” Lucian asked.

”What’s mate? You mean make love with me?”

”It’s called mate, okay, make love with you” Lucian corrected himself and she nodded.

'Not that alone, it’s my first time, I don’t want to feel the pain now' she thought within herself.

”I will wait, but not forever, I may just have to force you next time if my demons can’t take it any longer” Lucian said and walked out of the room.

”What? That devil” She frowned.

Lenora scoffed as the new human student stopped in front of her, who the hell does he think he is? Non of the students ever try crossing her part, but here he is right before him.

”Hi Pretty,” He smiled his annoyingly cute dimples out making Lenora scoffed again.

”Get lost!” She snapped.

”Hey easy, just wanna ask if am on the right way to the Library, I was asked to check out some...”

”Who cares? Ask someone else, not me!” She snapped and turned to leave.

”Guess she’s not human” She heard him muttered and immediately stopped.

”What did you just say?”

”Wow, you heard me?” Austin asked in surprise.

”What did you just say?!” Lenora yelled.

”Maybe I guessed right, you are not human. But you should really chill, I may be worst than you will ever think” He whispered.

”That’s not true, you are just human, I can smell it!” Lenora yelled and the students passing by wonder what she’s saying.

”You should try bringing your voice down, you are so weird” Austin rolled his eyes and she was quiet. Who the hell is this human?

”So, you are not human. What are you? Ghost? Vampire? Wolf? Which one?” Austin asked.

”Just shut up and mind your tongue!” Lenora yelled.

”Well nice meeting you inhuman” He chuckled and walked away.

”He’s got some guts, what if we teach him some lesson?” she grinned wickedly and stared directly at him, her eyes brought out a blue light and immediately he fell.

Lenora laughed, good for him.
Austin immediately turned back,, but she was already gone.

”I was right” He smiled to himself, now he’s one way ahead for his mission here.

Episode 11
Lucian walked into the house still boiling in anger, what the hell is his father trying to achieve by torturing him?

He went straight into his suite and sat down, he poured himself a glass of liquor and gulped down everything.

Alyssa entered and was surprised to see him, she doesn’t know why but she have been expecting him to get back home. Seeing him this way made her speechless, what is going on with him?

”Lucian” She called and moved closer to him.

He turned to face her, she gasped seeing his red eyes already. Is he angry about something?

Lucian grab her and pulled her closer to himself, she gasped. What does he want right now? He doesn’t seem fine.

”I need you Alyssa, I need you to calm down, or am going to destroy things” He said and she swallowed loudly.

She’s not ready for this, what is she going to do right now?? He didn’t wait for her response before kissing her hungrily, his tongue doing most of the work.

She broke the kiss almost immediately.

”Lucian please wait” she said trying to catch her breath.

”Alyssa!”

”I am not ready. Am sorry” She said.

Lucian sighed and left her, he turned back to his liquor.

”Lucian am sorry”

”It’s fine,” He replied.

Alyssa moved closer to him and lean forward for a kiss, he responded almost immediately. After kissing for few minutes, they pulled off. His eyes were back to normal and he was calm.

He stared at her swollen lips and breath out.

”Can you tell me what is happening to you? Please” Alyssa said.

”I don’t know either, I don’t” Lucian replied and stood up walking toward the door.

”Where are you going?” She immediately asked

”Come with me” He said, she ran to him and grab his hand with her own tiny fingers.

He smiled and pecked her cheek before walking out of the room.

”Don’t be scared, am going to do something crazy if he doesn’t tell me what I want to hear” Lucian said.

Alyssa wondered what he’s planning to do.

They both entered into another room.

”Close your eyes Alyssa” Lucian said and she obeyed immediately.

”Now open” He whispered.

She gasped and held him tightly the moment she opened her eyes, they are in somewhere totally different. It was like a throne room or something, but a large crown was at the center of the large room like hall. There are empty seats and a larger seat at the center of the room.

”It’s the future leader!” Someone suddenly shouted from nowhere and Alyssa flinched again.

”What? Future leader?” she asked herself.

Suddenly almost ten people appeared in the large room, Alyssa moved more closer to Lucian.

”You got this, don’t be scared” Lucian whispered to her and she nodded nervously.

”She’s human” One of the people said and Lucian nodded before taking a seat, Alyssa also sat down beside him.

They all bowed to Lucian.

”You all should sit and stop this bowing of a thing!” He groaned.

They chuckled and obeyed immediately.

”We are really happy to see you in the council after a long time with your mate” Another one said, she’s a female.

Alyssa wonder why they all look so amazing, they are really not human.

”But she’s human”.

”What is wrong with her being a human?!” Lucian snapped and they all kept quiet.

”My father is alive” Lucian said and they all stood up in fear.

”Rodolfo is alive?!” They all asked at the same time.

Alyssa could sense the fears in them.

”Yes, and he’s been threatening me” Lucian said and Alysa faced him.

'So his father is behind his anger?' Alyssa thought.

”Did he show himself to you?” One of them asked.

”No, my dream. I need to know something, how did he die? I heard he was the strongest” Lucian asked.

They all kept quiet. Lucian stood up and walked to the large seat at the center.

”I won’t repeat myself twice” He said.

”I think it’s time you know everything Lucian” Someone said.

He nodded.

”Go on!” He ordered.

”Thousands years ago...”

Rodolfo rushed into the large mansion filled with guards and maids, they all bowed to him. He’s their leader, as young as he is, but the only problem the council is facing is that he doesn’t have his mate yet.

”Lindsay! Lindsay! Are you there?!” Rodolfo shouted calling his cousin Lindsay.

”What is it Rodolfo?? ” She asked

” I found her, I found her” He said.

”Who?” she asked.

”My mate” He dropped the shell and Lind gasped.

”But she’s human. Don’t you think this is dangerous?” He asked.

”I will check” Lindsay said with a smile and closed her eyes.

It is a very dangerous journey for them, their fate is going to be a sad one. Human and a devil will never exist as mates.

”How is it?” Rodolfo asked.

Lind was silent for few minutes before speaking up.

”You two are meant for each other” She lied.

”Really? But I feel somehow. Since you said it’s good, then so be it” Rodolfo said.

MONTHS LATER...
”How could you?! How could you?! He’s not human for damn sake!” Heather’s parents shouted at her.

”I don’t care mother, I love him”. Heather said and a slap landed on her face.

”You are not going back to that devil’s house Heather, never!”

”But mother” Heather stopped and immediately rushed into the bathroom.

She threw up so badly that she felt empty within herself, and it was down on her. She’s pregnant!!!

”Don’t tell me you are pregnant for him” Her mother asked from the back.

Heather couldn’t say a word, she’s really pregnant. A smile escape her lips, now her parents wouldn’t have a choice than to let her live her life the way she want.

”Guards!!! Throw her into the lock!!! Make sure she’s not given neither food nor water for three days. She’s a disgrace to this family!!!” Her father shouted and she gasped.

”Father! What are you doing?! What?!” Heather cried as she struggled with the guards taking her away.

”We are sorry ma'am,” They apologized before locking her up.

Rodolfo paced round his room, he have been trying hard to connect with Heather with his mind. But she seem to be far away from him, really far that he couldn’t get her smell either.

Lindsay entered.

”What is happening Rodolfo?”

”Where is Heather?” he asked.

”I have no idea Rodolfo...”

”Are you kidding me? You should know she have to be close to me” Rodolfo said and Lind gasped.

”Don’t tell me you...but why...?!”

”She’s pregnant Lind, she’s carrying my child” Rodolfo said.

”What?!!!”

”I can’t feel her, I can’t smell her, what if she’s in danger?!”

”She’s will be fine”.

”Rodolfo, please help” He suddenly heard her in his mind.

”She’s in pain, I knew it” He said and disappeared into the air.

He appeared into the locked room, Heather was there.

”Rodolfo!” she shouted and ran toward him.

He hugged her tightly to himself.

”You are fine now, am here” He whispered into her ear.

She smiled and nodded.

”Let’s leave this place Heather right now,” He said.

”What? I can’t do that...”

”You can’t? But they are hurting you, and my child...”

”They are still my parents Rodolfo, I have to wait until they approve this” Heather said and his eyes went wide.

”Heather, you don’t have a choice right now. You have to come with me, if you are far from me, am going to become weak”.

”Am sorry I can’t” she immediately moved away from him.

”Then why did you call for my help?!’ He suddenly became angry.

”I missed you!” She blurted out.

”Liar, you are only a liar” He said and left immediately.

”Where is she?” Lindsay asked.

”She wouldn’t come with me” He replied.

”What? Your life is in danger right Now, how can you hand over your demons to her just to save her? And now she wouldn’t come with you?” Lindsay asked.

”She was dying, right in front of me. I had no other choice than to save her Lindsay” Rodolfo said.

”Now you are going to die while she live forever? She’s the human here!!” Lindsay said.

Episode 10
Lenora smiled at the mirror after getting satisfied with her looks, she’s the most beautiful girl in her school. No one can ever beat her beauty and she’s proud of it, the only problem is that they are all humans.

”Gross!” She groaned and carried her bag before going out of her room.

She bumped into Alyssa.

”Am sorry” Alyssa said gently.

Lenora ignored her and walked out, how can her brother’s mate be a mere human? She hates them so much.

”Morning mom...morning dad” She greeted before sitting down to eat breakfast.

”Honey, you should try to be nice to Alyssa, she’s harmless” Amdis said from the kitchen.

”I am trying!” She shouted.

”No, you’re not” Amdis replied.

”Gosh, I just lost my appetite” She stood up and went out.

”Tell brother I left, I can’t wait anymore” She said and entered the car, the driver drove off immediately.

”Hey Lenora, guess what” Her best friends, Lexi and Natalie ran after her as she got down from the car.

She groaned, they are the only human friends she have, but sometimes her demons wouldn’t want them around.

”Yeah girls!” She replied straight.

”Guess” Lexi said.

”I can’t, just tell me already”.

”There’s a new guy in school, he’s so hot! Damn” Natalie said.

”I wish he’s in our class” Lexi smiled.

”You two are f**king annoying, what’s my business with a guy?!” Lenora snapped angrily.

”We just...”

”Don’t tell me anything of such again!” She said and walked away.

”Gosh, she’s something else” Lexi shook her head with a sigh.

Lucian woke up with a loud groan, he was sweating all over his body. He just had a dream, but this time it’s different.

”Lucian? Are you okay?” Alyssa asked.

”Am fine” He replied and stood up, he went into the bathroom.

”What is wrong with him?” She thought inwardly but decided to wave it off.

She will be going to meet Amdis very soon, she promised to teach her some few things to know about the witches stuffs.

Minutes later, Luther came out. Alyssa almost gasped at his sight, how can someone be as Handsome as this?

'He’s not human remember' her mind whispered.

”Where are you going?” Alyssa asked.

”I will be back Alyssa” Lucian said and went out before she could say something else.

She sighed and got up from the bed, she arranged her hair properly and went out. She knocked on Amdis door gently.

”Alyssa? Come in” Amdis said from the room.

Alyssa wasn’t surprised that she’s aware of her presence, she opened the door and went in.

Lucian opened the door, as usual it was so dark and quiet. He successful find his way to where the witch is, she look so restless.

”Lucian?” Lindsay called looking surprised.

”What are you doing here?” She asked and Lucian sighed.

”I need your help on something” Lucian said.

”What help?” She asked.

”I actually had a dream, and I think, he’s someone I should know” Lucian said.

He told her about the dream and she sighed nervously.

”Am sure you know who the man in my dream is, tell me who he is. I need to find him”.

”What? You want to find Rodolfo?!” Lindsay asked with a scream.

”Rodolfo? Is that not...”

”Yes, it’s your father!” Lindsay interrupted.

”What the hell is my business with him? Why will he try to hurt me?”

”He’s your father, you can’t do anything about him”.

”He’s not my father, that monster isn’t my father!” Lucian snapped and walked out of the Library.

”Rodolfo” Lucian muttered to himself as he entered his car.

The moment Lucian left, the red eyes opened in the dark room and moved toward Lindsay with a complete smirk on his face.

”Good job Lindsay!” His deep voice like a groan said.

Lindsay faced him in fear, she swallowed hard finding it hard to speak out.

”Why don’t you tell him the truth? Why?!!!” Rodolfo yelled out and a part of the Library collapsed.

”Rodolfo stop please!”

”You destroyed my life Lindsay!!!! You destroyed me!!! And now, you are trying to destroy him too!!!” He asked trying hard to calm down.

”No I didn’t!” Lindsay shouted.

Rodolfo groaned and pinned her neck to the wall.

”You know what you will do for me right now?” Rodolfo asked gently with a wicked smile.

”Okay, please, you are choking me, please” Lindsay struggled.

”Shut up, tell me, Where Heather is?” He said.

”I..I...don’t know Rodolfo...I don’t know” Lindsay said still struggling with her breath.

”For the last time, where is Heather?” He asked.

He inserted his fingers into her throat and she let out a scream.

”I will tell you!!!” Lindsay shouted.

”Tell me now!!!”

She put on her dress, and her eyes caught with the mark on her neck she ran her hand through it and sighed.

She look like a lady in her early thirties, she look so beautiful with her eyes sparkling blue.

She continue starring at her reflection in the mirror, and suddenly another image appeared behind her.

”Ahhh!!!” She screamed and turned back immediately but it was gone.

She ran out of the house trying to breath out, she gulped down nothing in particular and went back in.

”It’s only an imagination, there’s no one there” She said to herself.

But suddenly a strong wind came from nowhere blowing all around her, it was so strong that she fell on her kneels.

After some minutes, the wind stopped. She opened her eyes and the strange image appeared again.

She gasped and immediately recognized him, she stood up on her feet.

”Ro...dol...fo” She called almost in a whisper.

Rodolfo stared at her with total hatred and grieve within him.

”You are alive” She said in tears.

”You want me dead, right?” He asked.

She shook her head and tried moving closer to him.

”Don’t come closer, or I will kill you” He groaned and she stopped.

”Am sorry, please. I want to see him, I want to see my child” She said in tears.

Rodolfo grab her neck angrily stinging her with his fingers.

”Which child? Tell me!!! The one you rejected? Or the one you called a monster?!!!”

”I didn’t!!! It was my parents!!!” she shouted as her tears keep on dropping.

”You think I will ever forgive you? You made me this way".

”I know, I was expecting you, I’ve been waiting for this moment. Rodolfo. I’ve lived here for more then thousand of years, without growing old, just because of this” she showed him the mark on her neck.

”I know you can’t forgive me, but please, let me see him before you kill me, please” She pleaded.

”Where is she going?” Lucian asked no one in particular as he watched Alyssa running to God knows.

Alyssa finally got to the old man, he recognized her immediately and smiled at her.

”You...”

”He’s a devil, you think this is right? ” Alyssa asked.

”That’s your fate you need to get ready for it.” He said.

”Do you think am going to get hurt?” Alyssa asked.

”I don’t know for now, but you two have great future ahead. He will never try to hurt you, you two are destined for each other,” He said.

”Thank you old one, will I ever see you again?” She asked.

”I don’t know” He smiled.

Alyssa nodded and walked back to the car.

”Where did you go to?” Lucian asked.

”Am sorry,I went to check on something” Alyssa lied.

”You just lied” Lucian muttered and she sighed.

”Am going to tell you, but on a condition. Can you just return that guy’s eyes for him? He did nothing wrong” Alyssa said and he scoffed.

”He was starring at you like you’re some food, I hate it” He said.

”Come on, he was only..."

”I don’t want that, I hate it when other guys stare at what’s mine” Lucian said and Alyssa was speechless.

Is she his?

”Please...” She murmured.

”Fine” he said.

”It’s back to him, like you want” He said and started the car.

Alyssa almost shook her head, he’s really a devil.

”Am not a devil yet” He said and she gasped.

He really heard what she was thinking.

”Am sorry,” She said.

” You don’t have to, am taking it slowly!” he smirked.

”Lucian?” Alyssa called and he faced her.

”About your, girlfriend” She swallowed.

”She’s not my girlfriend, forget about her, she’s no one to me”.

”She probably hate me, what if she try to hurt me? I am human, she’s a witch!” Alyssa snapped.

Lucian didn’t say until they drove into a mansion.

”Wow!” Alyssa said in a whisper

”You like it?” Lucian asked.

”It’s cool” she responded.

Lucian sighed and faced her.

”You should try to be nicer Alyssa” He said gently.

Alyssa blinked her eyes innocently, is she being harsh?

”Fine, am sorry” she finally said.

Lucian ignored her and got down from the car.

”You’re welcome boss” The guards all bowed as he walked.

”Get the stuffs in the car” he ordered and they all rushed toward the car.

Alyssa followed him silently.

”Lucian, you are finally back” A man who look like he’s in his early forties said with a smile.

”Yeah, with his mate” Another woman who is likely to be his wife said and Luther faced them.

”Yeah, am back. I found her" He said.

”I f**king smell human in this house!” A voice of a girl who should be between 17 or 18 years said out loudly walking into the same room they are in.

”You should learn how to talk gently” the man said his name is Brad.

”Omg!!! Brother!!!” Lenora shouted running toward Lucian and hugged him tightly.

”Len, how have you being?” Luther asked as he broke the hug.

”I really missed you a lot brother, but I guess you are back now” She pouted and Lucian nodded.

”Yeah, I will be here for some times” He said.

”I smell human father, someone is here”.

”I brought her” Luther said and she was a little bit shocked

”A human? Why?”

”Too much questions.” Amdis said.

”She’s his mate” Brad said and Lenora gasped.

”Mate? Human? How did that happen?”

”You should be happy I found her,,” Lucian said.

”I am, but, human. Fine” Lenora said and walked out.

”She’s becoming something else these days, she hate the smell and sight of humans but am sure she will get used to it” Amdis said.

”She will become a witch once she’s mated with you”.

”No, she’s not ready for that yet. I will wait” Lucian said.

Brad and Amdis faced each other and then back to him.

”But you have to mark her as soon as possible, you should tell her everything”.

”I don’t want to scare her, everything is new to her.” Lucian sighed.

”It’s okay, I can help if you want. She really have a lot to know” Amdis said and Lucian nodded.

After Amdis went out, Brad moved closer to Lucian.

”I discovered you’ve been absent at the council for too long, I wanted to come to you but...”

”I was busy Brad, but am back now”.

”The throne have been empty for too long Lucian you need to...”

”I am not ready yet, give me more time. And besides, you can make someone else the Alpha”.

”No, you are the only one from the late Alpha...”

”I don’t even know my parents! I don’t know how they look like! You raised me Brad, you and Amdis raised me! I never had the care of a mother, now you expect me to be your Alpha? To leave earth? I can’t” Lucian said and got up.

”Control your temper before you destroy things” Brad said as the room was beginning to shake.

Luther breath out calmly and roughed his hair.

”Your father, Rodolfo, was the most powerful Devil that will ever exist” Brad started.

Lucian scoffed.

”Then why did he die? If he was really powerful, why did he die?” Luther asked.

Brad couldn’t reply him.

”I don’t think we should talk about this” Brad sighed.

”Then forget about me being the Alpha, and that human, your queen.” Lucian said and walked out of the room.

Brad sighed loudly.

Lucian entered the room and Alyssa immediately got up, she have been waiting for hours.

”Where did you go to? I was scared” Alyssa said.

”Scared? Of what?” Lucian teased.

”Are you kidding? Am sure am the only human here” She said and Lucian scoffed.

”No one is going to hurt you Alyssa, how many times do I have to tell you that?” Luther groaned.

”Are you sure?” She asked.

”I don’t lie, am not human" Lucian said.

”You mean, humans always lie?”

”Let’s start from you” Lucian said and she chuckled.

”Am sorry if I lied to you” She said.

”Humans do lie because they are weak, and to protect themselves they have to tell lies” Luther said.

”Do you ever want to become human?” Alyssa asked.

”Do you ever want to become a witch?” Luther asked.

”What? Never!” she yelled.

”Then I can’t become human either” He smirked.

In the dark wood, a thick forest. The long grasses suddenly got burnt, the forest was restless as the strong wind blow from different directions.

The trees falling against each other, the sky was so dark like it’s about to rain.

And then suddenly the eyes opened, the red eyes filled with grieve and revenge.

The creature got up, and immediately it started to rain. He was dressed in all black, his hair was so white and long, his fingers so long and sharp.

He let out a loud scream of anger, the rain became more heavy and the sound of thunder was so scary.

Episode 8
The silence continued for a long time until Lucian spoke up,

”There is something you need to know Alyssa” He said.

”What is it master?” she asked curiously.

”Come closer” he said, she sighed and moved closer to him.

”Close your eyes” He added.

He pulled her into a gentle hug.

”Open now” He said and she opened her eyes, they are somewhere else. It’s like a garden filled with different beautiful flowers bringing out sweet scents.

”We...” she stopped not knowing what to say.

”You should get used to it, come have a seat. Here,right beside me” Lucian said as he sat down on a bench.

Alyssa sat down and he faced her starring into her gentle body and soul, can she take in what he’s about to tell her? How will she act?

”Alyssa” he called.

Alyssa who was starring at the ground the whole time finally looked up still trying not to stare at his pale blue eyes.

”Yes master” she answered.

”You know what I am right?” He asked.

She was forced to look up, into his eyes.

”What?”

”Don’t lie to me, what do you think I am?” he asked again.

”I don’t know. But I heard you’re not human” She said in almost a whisper.

”You are right, am not human. Am a demon, a deadly one” He said.

Alyssa nodded and bite her lips, he’s really a demon.

”You know what a mate is?” He asked hoping she won’t ask any further questions.

”Mate? Soulmate?” She asked and he nodded.

”Human call it Soulmate, but to us it’s called mate” He said.

She suddenly wondered where he’s going exactly.

”I just found out who mine is, I’ve been waiting all my life for her. And she suddenly appeared” Lucian said.

”Wow, really? Am so happy for you master” Alyssa smiled and Lucian nodded.

”It’s you Alyssa” He said and she immediately stood up.

”I, don’t understand. You mean I am your mate?” She asked and Lucian nodded.

”How is that possible? We are different, am not a witch. Am human”.

”I am also surprised, but it’s true. You are the one”.

”You want me to believe this lies of yours? How is that possible? I can’t, I can never be your mate, I can’t” She broke into tears.

”Why? Because am not human? Because you are scared of me hurting you? Why Alyssa” Lucian asked and also got up on his feet.

Alyssa shook her head.

”Am never going to hurt you, am going to protect you. It’s a promise”.

Alyssa still shook her head.

”I will wait until you are ready for me Alyssa, I will wait” he said.

”Don’t wait, please” She muttered and wipe her tears.

”I will, there is something I need to do. Let me do that” Lucian said.

She knew what he was talking about, she didn’t move from where she was. Lucian moved closer to her and held her cheek lightly and his lips met with hers.

She didn’t close her eyes, tears was dropping from her eyes as she watch him kissing her heartily. How did this happen? She just got here, why is it her? Why her?

She suddenly saw the moon shinning brightly up.

She remembered the old man’s word.

She gasped, and suddenly a gentle wind passed through her. She fell asleep immediately.

Lucian wasn’t surprised that she fell into the sleep, he just created the bond between them. But what if it’s really hard to accept him? Well he should be prepared for this.

He closed his eyes lifting her in his arms, they appeared back into the room.

He stared at Alyssa for a second before laying her on the bed gently.

”I promise, I will make you fall in love with me no matter what. And am going to protect you” He said and pecked her lips.

He felt his fingers suddenly growing, his demons are craving. He sighed knowing he’s starving them for too long.

”You all should be calm, I need to be patient with her” Luther said and immediately they became quiet. He was normal again.

Alyssa opened her eyes with a strong headache banging her, she groaned and roughed her hair. She suddenly gasped, where is she? She turned but Luther was not there.

‘Thank goodness’ she muttered and immediately got up.

He was about going out of the room when Lucian came in, she froze immediately.

”Good morning master” she bowed.

”Lucian” He corrected.

”What? Am sorry I can’t do that, everyone will think it’s weird. I can’t” she said.

Lucian nodded in agreement.

”How about we go somewhere else? So you can call my name freely?” Lucian asked.

Alyssa sighed, he’s not ready to give up is he?

”But...”

”Don’t argue with me Alyssa, we are leaving and that’s it!” He snapped.

”I should tell...”

”You can, go and prepare. We will be leaving” Lucian said and walked into the inner room.

Alyssa went out of the room.

'You are in trouble Alyssa' she said to herself as she walked into the maids dorm.

”You are leaving with her?” Lady Kim asked Lucian.

”I think that’s the best thing to do, she have a lot to learn. I don’t want to rush things with her” Lucian replied.

”She’s innocent, too innocent” Lady Kim said.

”I know, I will protect her. She’s mine now”.

”Everything is always yours Lucian” Lady Kim teased and he let out a smirk.

”I wish you luck Lucian” She said and went out.

Almost immediately Alyssa came in.

Lucian stared at her.

”Can we just go now? Am tired and I feel so sleepy” Alyssa said.

The bond is so effective on her because she’s human.

Lucian nodded and they both walked out of the room.

As they move together, nobody knew what’s happening. Only Nikki and Amanda understands.

After getting into the car, they drove out of the compound.

Lucian keep on stealing gazes from her as she watched the city innocently.

He suddenly stopped in front of a mall.

”What are we doing here?” Alyssa asked not knowing where the courage came from, but she doesn’t feel scared like she should.

Lucian smiled inwardly, the bond is really working. Fearless now.

”To get you clothes” Lucian replied.

Alyssa nodded and got down from the car, they entered.

”You are welcome ma and sir, what will you like to...” the attendant was saying something but Lucian interrupted.

”How much is everything here?” He asked starring at the mall.

Alyssa gasped, definitely he’s not human. How can he think of buying everything?

”Sir?” the attendant asked to be sure.

”I don’t repeat myself twice” He muttered.

Alyssa immediately smiled.

”I will pick what I want” She said and the attendant nodded already getting scared of Lucian who only smirked at her.

Lucian waited patiently for Alyssa, and finally she came out. She was putting on a new outfit while some attendants were holding numerous bags behind her while Lucian moved towards the cashier for payment.

Lucian couldn’t help but to check her out, she’s truly beautiful. He noticed a guy starring at Alyssa, he was so mad that the guy became blind almost immediately.

He screamed out and in few seconds everyone was running to him.

”My eyes! My eyes!! No!!!” He keep on shouting.

Alyssa gasped and faced Lucian.

”What did you...?”

”You look pretty, let’s leave” Lucian said walking out.

Alysa sighed and followed him.

”You did that right?” She asked on their way back.

”I don’t know what you are talking about” Lucian said and she decided to keep quiet.

She suddenly saw the old man who told her about her soulmate.

”Stop the car, please” she said.

Lucian stopped, before he could ask what’s wrong, she was out already.

”What you mean. That human is my mate? How do you expect me to believe you? How can she be the one? She’s human!” Lucian yelled.

”Idiot, stupid, you should have felt the connection already. Your heart always hurt when you stare into her eyes” Lindsay said and Lucian sighed.

She’s right, that human, Alysa is really his mate and he was so ignorant that he didn’t notice.

”You should make the bond with her fast or it will be dangerous for the two of you, mate with her too” Lindsay said.

”And you think she will, but why the hell are you telling me? Don’t you work for Shannon?”

”I don’t work for Shannon, I only helped her. If I don’t tell you now, you are still going to find out anyway, so it’s the same” She laughed.

Lucian scoffed and disappeared immediately, he was too weak to walk.

He appeared back into the mansion and the car beside him, the guards gasped. They should be used to it but it took them by surprise, why did he have to do that?

”Get me Alysa, right now” He said to a guard.

”Yes master” He bowed and ran off while Lucian went to his suite.

Alysa was almost shaking as she knock on his door.

”Come in” His voice said.

She breath in and out before going in. She entered and close the door behind her.

”Am here” She said nervously.

Lucian faced her, he stared at her without saying a word. The stares was beginning to make Alysa uncomfortable, why is he looking at her like that?

Lucian sighed and sip from his liquor, what is he going to do with her right now? Suddenly acting weird to her, it’s going to be so obvious.

”Did you go anywhere today?” He finally asked even though he knew the question he just asked sound so stupid

”No master, I didn’t” She replied.

He sighed again, he’s not this soft right? Why is she so different?

”Move closer” He said.

Alysa immediately walked to him looking surprise that he’s not using his invisible hand on her this time, she stopped right in front of him.

And he suddenly did the unexpected, he hugged her, she gasped loudly almost loosing her balance. Did Lucian just hugged her?

She remembered his word and immediately pushed him off.

He raised his brow looking confused.

”Am sorry you told me to push you if...”

”Not now” he snapped and hugged her again.

'Okay what is happening right now?' She thought and stood still.

Lucian closed his eyes hugging her even more tightly, she’s really the one. He have been waiting all these years, she’s really his mate. He inhale her, she smell so sweet that he almost bite her neck, but he controlled himself since she’s not used to it.

Alysa on the other hand was waiting for him to let go of her.

”Are you scared of me?” He asked.

Alysa swallowed hard, why is he suddenly asking if she’s scared? Of course she is.

”You are really scared of me” Luther sighed and break the hug.

He stared into her eyes, she turned her gaze on the floor and started sucking on her lips. What is happening? She doesn’t know.

”Don’t be scared” He said.

”Master?” She called with confusion all over her face.

”Am starving” Lucian said trying to change the topic.

”I will get your food right now” She immediately said and ran off.

Lucian smiled but immediately frowned, why the hell is he suddenly smiling?

He smell Shannon, he scoffed. Just then Shannon entered.

”What are you doing here Shannon, shouldn’t you be hiding from me right now?” Luther asked with a smirk.

”I lied to protect you, I couldn’t bring myself to tell you it’s a human” Shannon said.

”Still, you should have told me” Lucian said.

”Am sorry Lucian, I just think it’s dangerous for you since she’s just human”.

”You are a liar Shannon, you didn’t tell me because you don’t want to loose me, you are so selfish!” Lucian snapped.

”Lucian”

”Get out Shannon, I don’t want to hurt you” Lucian said turning his back on her.

Shannon hugged him from the back.

”Forgive me” She said.

”Shannon, leave. I won’t say this again”.

”You can’t just throw me away!! This is what I’ve been scared of Lucian please!” she burst into tears.

”Fine, leave for now. I will call you when I need you, okay? Just go now’ He said.

”You will call me back?” She wipe her tears and he nodded.

She sighed and walked out of the room, she met Alysa on the way. She stared at her angrily before storming out.

Alysa breath out, why is she so scared of her?

She proceeded and opened the door, Lucian was still standing when she entered.

She dropped the food.

”Master?” She called.

He turned to her, she bowed and turned to leave.

”Stop!” He called back, she immediately stopped and faced him.

”We are eating together” He said and her heart skipped a beat again.

”I...I...”

”Gosh, you won’t want me to force you right!?” Luther groaned.

She shook her head and moved closer to him, he pulled her to sit down beside him.

Definitely she wasn’t breathing at that moment.

”Breath Alysa, you will die” Lucian said.

She nodded and breath out, Lucian sighed and touched her hand. She flinched and moved away instantly.

'Am I that bad?' Lucian thought inwardly.

”Eat Alysa”

”Am, not hungry master” She said.

That was when her stomach made a loud noise, Luther faced her and smirked.

”You lied, I hate liars” He whispered into her ear.

She gasped with the way his warm breath touched her ear.

”Am sorry” She said and took the spoon.

”You think you will die if you eat with me?” Lucian frowned.

That was exactly what Alysa was thinking.

”I...” A tear dropped from her eyes.

Lucian sighed and stood up.

”Get up!” He ordered and she immediately stood up.

”I don’t kill people Alysa. I don’t kill unnecessarily. So stop thinking I will ever try to hurt you, not even now” Lucian stopped and faced her again.

”Am sorry Master, am just scared” She said truthfully.

”You shouldn’t, right now you shouldn’t” Lucian said and she wonder what he’s talking about.

He moved closer to her, she wanted to move back but he pulled her closer.

Maybe when he kiss her, she will stop being scared of him right?

”Don’t move” He said, she nodded in fear.

He almost kissed her but she turned and his lips landed on her cheek, Lucian sighed and let go of her.

”Am sorry master, am sorry”.

”Maybe am too fast about it” Lucian said.

”What?” She asked to be sure of what she heard.

”Am too fast right?” He asked again.

”I don’t understand” She muttered.

”You don’t want me to”.

”Because I don’t understand why you are suddenly like this, it’s scary” She said starring straight into his eyes.

Lucian immediately looked away.

She’s really right, how can he suddenly want to kiss her? How will he tell her she’s a devil’s mate? Who will take that?

Alysa walked into the mansion with Nikki, they were so engrossed in whatever they are talking about that they didn’t notice Lady Kim watching them.

”Alysa!” Lady Kim called and she turned.

”Oh, Lady Kim” She faked a smile nervously.

”I told you just now that you were called for, did you even go at all?” Kim asked.

”I was the one who asked for her help, you can leave now Alysa, I will take it myself ” Nikki said taking the stuffs from Alysa.

”You’re in trouble” She whispered to Alysa whose heart was beating fast already.

She immediately ran in, on her way to Lucian’s chamber.

She stopped at the door listening to the conversation between her master and Amanda, or maybe her.

She was almost calm until she heard Lucian calling her back.

”He found out” She said to herself fearfully.

”I don’t repeat myself twice, you are not her!” he said.

”I...am...”

Lucian stared at her angrily, she screamed out. He was piercing her badly by just starring at her.

”I am not Alysa, please don’t kill me!” Amanda screamed out.

Lucian stopped.

”Who are you and where is Alysa?!” He asked.

Amanda immediately changed back to her normal face.

At that moment Alysa rushed in and fell on her kneel.

”It’s all my fault, please punish me instead. Please” She cried.

”And why should I listen to you? You two are trying to play with me?!!!” He yelled angrily causing some things in the room to fall.

”Am sorry master, please,don’t punish her, you can do anything with me, not her” Alysa pleaded in tears while Amanda only kept quiet crying silently.

She knew Lucian will never listen, he never listens to anyone’s plea when he’s angry.

”You can go” Lucian said and Amanda gasped.

”Sir?” she asked to be sure.

”Get out before I change my mind!” Lucian snapped.

Amanda faced Alysa in surprise and immediately stood up running out of the room while Alysa was there on her kneel.

”Start talking” Lucian said sipping from the wine in his hand.

”I have nothing to say,” Alysa said not wanting to bring Nikki into the matter.

”What! You have nothing to say? Are you trying to make me mad?” He asked.

”No master, am sorry for disobeying you. Please forgive me, I will do anything you want” She said in tears.

”Anything?” Lucian said and she nodded.

”Good, get up!” He ordered and she stood up.

”Strip and get on the bed” He said and her soul left her body immediately.

”Master?!” She called to be sure of what he said.

”I don’t repeat myself twice Alysa, do what I asked for. You said you will do anything!” he said.

She bite her lips regretting that she ever said that, hot tears dropping from her eyes, she have never had sex never knew she will ever have sex with a devil. What if she die?

”You are wasting my time Alysa!” He groaned.

She took off her clothes and climb on the bed as he instructed her.

He turned and faced her, she immediately looked away feeling so embarrassed.

”Get out!” He suddenly said.

”What?!”

”I said get out, put on your clothes and leave now!!!” He yelled.

She immediately put on her clothes and rushed out.

Lucian threw the glass in his hand away feeling frustrated, why does she always push him to do what he doesn’t want?? Why

He almost had sex with her, but he suddenly smelt Shannon coming. That was the reason he asked her to leave, he would have done what he want with her.

Alysa heart was still beating so fast as she ran out of the room, she was feeling happy and confused at the same time.

Happy that he asked her to leave without touching her, and confused about what he did. Why he suddenly changed his mind.

Her body must be so ugly that he had to send her away.

Her eyes caught with Shannon coming toward where she was, she immediately ran off before she could see her.

Lucian looked up wondering where the hell he is, it was so empty and silent, and just then a woman in her early 30s appeared before him.

She look so young and beautiful too, she stared at him with tears in her eyes.

Lucian was confused as they stare at each other.

”You again” Luther asked but she only keep on starring at him with tears.

”Why do I keep on seeing you? Who are you? And why do you always cry when I see you?” Lucian asked again.

This time she started moving closer to him

”Can I just touch you once?” She asked.

”What?! Touch?” Lucian asked in total confusion.

”Please” She said.

Lucian felt sorry seeing her tears, she was about touching him when he woke up.

He sat up on the bed almost breathing hard, the same dream again. He have been having the dream since he was so young which always result in sleepless night for him.

He hardly sleep all night, he got out of bed. It was still 2:00am at midnight.

He took his liquor and gulped down everything.

'Who the hell is this woman he always see? She have been starring at him and crying all these years, but this time she almost touched him, who is she? Why is she always in tears?

He sat down drinking so hard but it was like he’s not going to get drunk anytime from now, he needed something else to calm down but nothing was coming to his mind.

He just keep on drinking even though he knew he was never going to get drunk, not when his power is in him.

His mind suddenly went to Shannon, he knew she was keeping something from him, he really want to find out but how?

NEXT DAY

”You don’t have to worry, I am going alone” Lucian told the driver and guards.

”But master...”

”Don’t make me repeat myself” he said and they immediately moved back.

He scoffed and entered the car, he zoomed out.

”Where is he going this early?” Alysa asked no one in particular as she watched him from the balcony upstairs beside the maids dorm.

”Do you like him now?” Amanda asked from behind.

”What? Like? I don’t” Alysa said sincerely.

”Why? Because he’s scary?” Amanda asked.

”Everything” She replied as she remembered the other day. He would have took her virginity.

Luther almost got out of the car but immediately stopped when Shannon drove out of the house, he followed her quietly.

He really want to know where she’s going as early as this.

After driving for few hours Shannon finally stopped in front of the building, Lucian parked somewhere in the bush.

”Where the f**k is this?” Luther asked himself.

The building look so old and ugly, he would have be scared if he’s just human. He watched as Shannon went in, he decided to stay in the car and wait for her to return.

He waited patiently, she came out of building and drove off again.

Lucian sighed and got out of the car, he started finding his way into the building. He entered into the old library.

”What was she doing here? No one is here” He said.

Suddenly there was a loud noise and the light also went off

He was scared even though he knew he shouldn’t, but it took him suddenly that he was afraid.

”Who is here?” He asked.

A loud laughter followed.

”Who is here?!!! Before I loose it!!!” He yelled.

The light came on again but this time the ugly witch was already in front of him.

”Arrghh!!!” He shouted and fell on the floor seeing her ugly face and hair with the decayed tooth.

”I knew you were going to come, I was expecting you. Lucian” Lindsay said and laughed.

”Who are you? And how did you know my name?” He asked getting up.

”Follow me” She said.

He obeyed and followed her, but suddenly got himself.

”What was Shannon doing here?” He asked.

”You mean your mistress?” Lindsay asked.

”That’s non of your business!” he yelled.

”Don’t be angry, you are not even a match for me, you are still a demon. I’ve lived for 300 years as a witch.” She said and he scoffed

”Does that matter?” He said.

”I know you’re stubborn, have you find out who your mate is? It’s like your mistress don’t want that to happen” She laughed.

”What do you mean?” He asked.

She ignored him, he was already getting mad that he couldn’t control himself.

”Tell me before I do something I don’t wanna do” He said.

”Your mate, I mean, your human mate. Alysa, did Shannon tell you?” Lindsay asked and his breath seized immediately.

”Are you okay now?” A voice came into her head as she tried opening her eyes.

”Alyssa” The person called again and finally she opened her eyes.

She remember clearly what happened last night, how he disappeared, right in front of her. She sighed and turned to look at the person.

”Nikki” She called and Nikki sighed.

”Gosh Alyssa, will you keep on passing out like this? What if I didn’t find you on time? What should I do with you right now?” Nikki sighed.

”Am sorry” Alysa said.

”You need to get used to everything here, and besides you are not the only human in this mansion, don’t be so weak” Nikki scoffed.

Alyssa nodded gently unable to talk, she’s definitely still scared.

”You should get up and take your bath, and then eat. I will be going to get some things from the stores” Nikki said getting up.

”I will come with you please” Alysa immediately said.

”What? You can’t, what if master needs you?” Nikki asked.

”He wouldn’t, please let me go with you, please” She pleaded.

She really need to go out of this mansion and clear her head, she really needed it at that moment.

”Okay, fine. Maybe Amanda can help if master calls for you” Nikki smiled.

”How?” Alysa asked.

”She can just take over your image and pretend to be you, she can do that” Nikki whispered.

”Are you crazy? What if he finds out? He’s a demon” Alysa whispered back.

Nikki shrugged for a second.

”Alysa...I don’t know what to say. But get prepared for now, he may want you and he may not” Nikki said and Alysa nodded before going into the bathroom.

After taking her bath and getting dressed, they both went to the kitchen to get something to eat.

”You two are going together? You should know that it’s dangerous for Alysa” Amanda said.

”I don’t understand, why is it dangerous? I just want to go with her, any problem with that? I need to clear my head from all these” Alysa said almost In tears.

She was beginning to develop headache.

”It’s okay, fine I will help. But you two should be here soon, please, I don’t want trouble” Amanda said.

”We won’t take long” Nikki smiled.

”Wow, finally” Alyssa groaned happily as they walk getting different things from the stores.

”I guess you’re happy about this” Nikki chuckled.

”Of course, I am” Alysa said.

They suddenly noticed some crowd all over an old man in his early 60s.

”What are they doing? What’s happening?” Alysa asked.

”I think he’s a fortune teller” Nikki smiled.

”Really? Okay I thought it was something serious” Alysa scoffed.

”Of course it is, everything he says always come true, let’s give it a try” Nikki said.

”No, let’s just get whatever we want and go back to the mansion. I don’t believe in things like this” Alysa said.

”Come on trust me it’s not fake” Nikki persuaded.

”Gosh, if we ever get home late, then it’s your fault. Just know that!” Alysa snapped.

”Accepted, now let’s move closer” Nikki said.

They both walked toward the crowd, waiting for their turn, soon it was Nikki’s turn.

”Gosh, I can’t believe we are doing this right now” Alysa complained and Nikki smirked before moving closer to the man.

After she was done, she moved to Alysa who was reluctant to move closer.

”Come on Alysa, just give it a try” Nikki said.

”Fine” She scoffed.

Nikki also followed her.

The man took Alysa’s right hand for a minute, Alysa who was uninterested stared at him with confusion written all over her face. Soon the man looked up.

”How will you take it if you find the person you will live the rest of your life with?” he asked.

”I don’t understand” Alysa said.

”Old man, you mean like a soulmate?” Nikki asked.

”Yeah, soulmate” The old man replied.

”Soulmate?” Alysa asked again and he nodded.

”Yes, it’s going to be something scary. But you have to accept it that way, it’s your fate” The old man smiled.

”I will excuse her” Nikki said.

”You don’t have to do that” Alysa called but she was already far from her.

”Why will it be scary? Is it something bad?” Alysa asked.

The old man smiled.

”Your soulmate is searching for you. You will know him soon” he said.

”Is he someone I know?” she asked.

”How are we going to meet? I don’t even go out of the mansion. How will I know my soulmate when I see him? It’s going to be difficult ” Alysa scoffed.

Alysa bowed a little before running off toward Nikki

”So how was it?” Nikki asked.

”You all really want me to start believing in magics and superpowers, now am going crazy” Alysa groaned.

”You will get used to it soon Alysa, trust me. And one thing, stay away from the master’s mistress. She’s dangerous”.

”You mean lady Shannon?” Alysa asked.

”Yeah, Shannon. She’s a powerful witch, I hate her” Nikki scoffed.

”Because she’s more powerful? That’s crazy” Alysa smiled.

”You can’t understand” Nikki sighed.

Lady Kim entered the maid dorm>

Amanda breath out nervously, she closed her eyes and her face changed to Alyssa’s. She sighed loudly before going out.

When she got to master Lucian’s chamber, she knocked gently.

”Come in” Lucian answered from the inside.

She went in, praying silently that he doesn’t think of going into her head.

”Alysa?” he called starring at her.

”Yes master” She replied.

”About last night, did I scare you?” Lucian asked.

Amanda was confused, what is he talking about?

”Alysa?” Lucian called.

”Yes, master”

”You seem nervous, never mind. You can go” Lucian said.

Amanda breath out and almost ran out.

”Wait!” He called back and she stopped.

”Turn!” He said in a commanding tone.

Amanda faced him.

Episode 4
Alysa keep on thinking about what happened, even when everyone is asleep. If she didn’t push him off, he would have kissed him.

What was he thinking? Definitely he’s drunk, good thing he won’t remember anything in the morning. But the fact that he’s a devil suddenly cross her mind.

He’s going to remember, for sure.

She sighed and decided to sleep, she will face anything that comes her way.

The next morning was a very busy one for Alysa, from cleaning to washing and all others.

”Alysa” Lady Kim called.

She faced Amanda and Nikki, they nod their head, she smiled before rushing to Lady Kim.

”What, what are you talking about?” She managed to ask.

”Lucian called for you, and it seems like he’s mad or something” Lady Kim said.

”He’s going to kill me please, I can’t go in” Alysa said almost in tears.

”What the hell? Why will he kill you?’ Lady Kim asked.

Alysa fondled with her lips unable to speak out, she remember his face. Last night, red,and his hair looking more long, she pushed him too.

”You don’t have much time, if you spend another second here, that’s when he will kill you. So you should go now” Lady Kim said and walked away to the other maids.

Alysa breath out restlessly, she turned and made way to his chamber, she walked so gently and almost couldn’t feel her leg. She was so scared of seeing those eyes again.

After walking for some minutes, she knocked on his door.

”Come in” She heard his voice.

She entered with her hands together and her head buried to the floor.

”Look up” He said.

She looked up immediately, he was not even facing her, how the hell did he know that she’s staring at the floor.

She watched him gulped down his liquor and then faced her, her heart suddenly started beating fast.

”What happened last night?” He asked.

”Mas..master?” She called confusedly.

”I asked a question Alysa, don’t make me repeat myself!” He groaned.

”Nothing, nothing happened” She shuttered.

”Are you sure I didn’t, no,” He muttered and she felt the invisible hand pulling her toward him.

She tried struggling with it.

He closed his eyes and went into her mind seeing what happened last night since he can’t even remember anything no matter how hard he tried.

He suddenly opened his eyes back

”Good job” He said.

”Good thing you pushed me away."

”No master, I didn’t mean to do that. Please forgive me” She suddenly went on her kneels.

”I just said it’s a good thing Alysa, get up!” He ordered.

She stood up still starring at the floor.

”If I ever try something like that again, push me okay?” He said.

” Sir?”

”Don’t ever allow me do that with you, never” He said.

She nodded instantly.

”Get out” He snapped.

She ran out.

Lucian breath out feeling more relived, he was scared he had kiss the human and create some silly things with her.

He can only kiss his mate, but she’s no where to be found. Maybe he doesn’t have one, he thought.

Alysa rest her back on the wall trying to catch her breath.

”Am definitely not going to survive it here will I?” She asked herself.

”What are you doing here?” A voice jerked her off from her thought.

She stood up properly and faced the person,she gasped. Shannon?

”What are you doing here?!” Shannon yelled.

”Am...I...nothing, nothing” She replied.

”Good, now leave.”

Alysa bowed and ran off immediately.

Shannon scoffed and walked into Lucian’s room.

”What are you doing here Shannon?” He asked.

”You don’t want me here?” She asked.

” I didn’t...”

She smiled and hugged him.

”Shannon, am not in the mood for this okay?” He said and got up from the bed.

”Come on Lucian what is bothering you this time? She asked.

”That girl, there’s something strange about her. I can’t believe I almost kissed her last night” Lucian said and she got up immediately.

”What? You can’t let that happen!!” She half yelled.

”Then tell me what she is! I can’t even get into her mind for too long she has great effect on me” Luther said almost angrily.

”She’s nobody Lucian, just forget about her” Shannon said and looked away.

”If I find out that there’s something about her that you’re not telling me, I won’t spare you Shannon, you know me” Luther said and walked out of the room.

Shannon sat on the bed, she knew what she’s doing is really dangerous. Luther can kill her without thinking twice. But she’s too selfish to let him go, she want to have him all to himself.

The moment he finds out that that human is his mate, he will never have her time, she knows how well demons cherish their mates, that’s what she’s scared of.

The night was so dark, but the moon was shinning brightly in the sky. Lucian watched from his room, why his heart keep on racing, he doesn’t know.

”Why are you still awake?’ He asked without any expression.

”Then Fate is unfair, I don’t seem to get anything about this. Am helpless” Luther sighed.

”You are not a weak man, you will find out, soon” Lady Kim said.

”Goodnight” She added before walking

She smiled, she knew Alysa the moment she entered into the mansion. But she’s not in the position to tell him, who will believe it? His mate is just human? He need to find everything out himself.

Lucian sighed and decided to forget about his worries, he will definitely find out according to what Kimberly said.

He turned toward his chamber but it got him by shock when he saw Alysa right behind him.

Alysa was still breathing heavily in shock as she entered the dorm. Gosh why is everything scary when he didn’t even spare her a glance?

”Oh, you’re back” Amanda said with her mouth filled.

”She didn’t die,” Nikki teased and they laughed.

”Okay girls, I don’t see anything funny in this, my life is at stake. What if he just kill me?” Alysa asked sitting on the couch.

”It is, how can you be scared that much?” Amanda asked.

”Coz she’s human” Nikki replied.

”What do you mean by am human? Are you not human? This is getting crazy, what are you guys if am human?” Alysa asked.

”Am not human, am a witch, dark witch” Nikki said and Alysa immediately stood up.

”I don’t understand, witch?”

Nikki sighed and stretched her hand to the bottle water on the table, it moved and landed in her hand.

Alysa gasped and covered her mouth with her hand.

”Well, am,” Amanda cleared her throat made a flame of fire with her finger.

”Ahh!!!” Alysa screamed and fell to the ground.

Nikki immediately helped her up.

”Come on, we won’t hurt you” she chuckled.

”But all these are little things beside the power of the master, he’s a demon” Nikki whispered.

”I think he will become a devil soon though...” Amanda said and Alysa couldn’t take it anymore, she passed out.

Alysa managed to nod her head, if someone told her a week ago that she’s going to make friends with nonhumans,she will definitely slap the person,but now here she is. In the midst of witches and devils.

”The lady I saw with master, is she a witch too?” Alysa asked.

”Lady Shannon? Of course,.a powerful one indeed, she’s master’s girlfriend, or what should we call her?” Nikki said.

Alysa nodded and sat still on the bed, gosh why is her life like this?

Lucian sat down with his eyes closed, his two legs crossed together and his two hands wide opened.

He was so deep in his meditation when he suddenly forced his eyes opened, his red eyes are becoming calm gradually, he sighed and stood up.

He made way to the freezer and brought out the liquor, it’s his favorite and it’s like it always calm his demons down a little.

”Why can’t I find you huh?” He asked before opening the bottle and drank the whole content.

He breath out loudly, causing a little breeze outside.

”Okay, let’s calm down” He said like he was referring to some things.

Suddenly a knock came on the door, he turned toward the door and shone the light in his eyes, he scoffed.

It’s the new maid Shannon told him to stay away from her.

But why?

Does he have to listen to whatever Shannon says?

He opened the door with his mind, Alysa came in almost shaking even though she have planned to remain calm, but right now she couldn’t.

Weak human, Lucian thought inwardly.

”What do you want?” he asked and she flinched.

”Is there anything on my face?” Lucian asked and moved closer to her, she immediately moved back.

He held her tightly with his power without making a move.

She struggled out of the invisible grip but couldn’t.

”Please, let me go” Alysa pleaded in tears.

Lucian sighed and released her.

”You’re my new maid, Alysa. That’s all?” He asked and she nodded.

” Okay, what else?” he asked.

”Your food” She said.

”I am about going out right now, bring it here when am back” He said.

”How will I know when you’re back?” she asked not knowing where the courage came from.

”You don’t get it? You can’t sleep until am home, that’s what you are here for!” He snapped starring into her dark eyes. He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his heart.

He groaned and hold it tightly.

”Master! Are you okay?” Alysa ran to him.

”Get out!!” He yelled and the light went off.

Alysa became so scared, she find her way out of the room immediately.

Lucian sat down on the bed trying to know what’s happening to him, he had this pain the first time he saw her, now he’s having it again?

Was that the reason why Shannon asked him to stay away from her? Minutes later, the pain went down. He sighed and arranged his hair before going out.

”I won’t let that happen, no,,it can’t happen. Lucian will never kiss an ordinary maid, he haven’t even kissed me yet” She rolled her eyes.

”Am sorry, I just don’t know what to say.”

”Never mind” Lucian said gulping down everything in the bottle
He doesn’t get drunk easily, but tonight he was planning to get drunk no matter what.

Alysa got up immediately she heard the car horn...finally he’s back. She have been waiting at the entrance since forever, it’s almost midnight.

She went to the kitchen to dish out his meal.

After she was done, she made way to his suite, he was already there facing the window and his back facing her.

She dropped the food.

”Master, here it is. I will leave now” She bowed and almost walked out when the strange hand held her again, this time taking her to his side.

She wanted to scream but couldn’t, what does he want this time?

He faced her and she gasped, his blue eyes are red now, is he drunk or possessed? Alysa thought.

She was so scared, what if he try to kill her? Then she will die like that?

His long grey hair are now standing, before she could think of what to do, he grabbed her and pinned her to the wall.

”Oh goodness” She gasped

His face moving closer to hers.

She blinked her eyes, what is he trying to do?

His lips almost met with hers, but she was lucky enough to push him off, she immediately ran out of the room.

Everywhere was silent until she felt the wardrobe falling, it almost fell on her but she was able to stop it with her power. She immediately turned to Lucian, his eyes has become so red and his hair standing.

“Lucian!!!! Stop!!!” She shouted but it was only becoming worst, his fingers were growing.

“Lucian!!!” she landed on her butt immediately she said that.

“Look for her, or you will be dead Shannon, I would have looked for her myself! But she’s my only weakness, I can’t smell her. But you can, so get her for me!” He said angrily

Shannon swallowed hard before nodding.

“But, why do you always blame me? It’s not even my fault that she’s not close, why do you keep on yelling at me?! Why?! It hurt when you shout at me,” Shannon broke into tears.

He sighed and got up, he moved closer to her. Their faces just few inches to each other, she was expecting a kiss, but she knew she can’t get it. A kiss always create a bond with a demon which he is. She has been trying to kiss him to create this bond but couldn’t.

He pulled her into a hug instead.

“I am so sorry” he whispered.

“I know” She rolled her eyes.

He has never said that word to anyone.

“Come on, this isn’t a time to admire my hair” Alysa said and Amanda chuckled.

Two other girls came in.

“Oh, the new girl?? What’s your name? Am Nikki” one of them said with a smile.

“Alysa” she said.

“Hey!” Alysa said to the second girl but she rolled her eyes and sat down.

“Come on Liz, she’s greeting you” Amanda said.

“She’s master’s new maid, what should I say to her?” Liz said.

“Just say you are jealous” Nikki snapped.

“What? Jealous of my situation?” Alysa was surprised.

“She’s crushing on master” Nikki whispered.

“What? Crush? That’s crazy” Alysa scoffed.

“Well, you’ve not seen him. He’s so hot ” Amanda said.

“Who cares about hotness? I don’t want to be here” Alysa sighed.

“Okay, here we are. I will stop here, bye” Amanda said and ran off leaving Alysa to face anything that comes her way.

She was about knocking when a voice came.

“Come in” A female voice said.

She opened the door and went in.

“Good...good evening, master” Alyssa bowed nervously almost dropping the food on the floor but she was able to drop it successfully on the table.

“Who are you?” Shannon asked and she turned to them.

“Am the new maid” she said and Shannon gasped.

She stared at Alyssa from her head down to her legs.

“What’s wrong?” Lucian who haven’t raised his head looked up to see Alyssa, he doesn’t see anything about her but his heart skipped a little beat which was weird.

“You can go” Shannon said.

Alyssa sighed and immediately rushed out feeling glad that nothing happened to her yet.

“Did you feel that? I felt something in my heart, she’s weird” Lucian said.

“Yeah, you need to stay away from her” Shannon said and swallowed.

“But I wasn’t able to read her mind, I don’t think she’s...”

“You are a demon and will become a devil totally very soon, and I am a witch. So you should listen to me for now” Shannon said and got up.

“Where are you going?”

“I need to go now,,I will see you later Lucian, bye” Shannon said and immediately went out of the room.

She got down from the car and rushed into the old library, it’s the only building in that side, it look so old and scary.

She opened the door and went in, it was almost dark.

“Wow, see who we got here.” An ugly woman who look like she’s in her early thirties smiled out her dark set of tooth, her red hair look so scattered and her fingers really long. She’s a 100 years witch, she have lived in that library for almost 70 years already.

“Hey Lindsay, I need your help right now” Shannon said.

“You want the ancient book now? So soon?” she asked.

“No, something more serious” Shannon replied pacing around.

“What is it?”

“Lucian, his mate,” Shannon didn’t complete her sentence when she started laughing.

“Yeah, his mate is here. But it’s a mere human, it’s going to be dangerous for him” Lindsay said.

“I don’t care about that, I want you to help me separate them. He can feel the bond already, if he continue seeing her, his love for me will wave off.”

“He’s not in love with you Shannon.”

“I don’t care, I just want you to separate them” Shannon snapped.

“It’s a hard thing to do, but I will help you” Lindsay said and laughed again.

“Italy ” The man said and she gasped.

They went into the plane, she immediately guess it’s private, they are the only one in it.

"Am I going to get married or what?" She scoffed.

They got her breakfast which is turning to lunch already, after eating to her satisfaction, she slept off.

The next time she was awake, a large building in front of her, she was ordered out of the car. One of the men had carried her out of the plane some minutes ago when she didn’t wake up. She got down and keep on starring at the the building, almost as large as a palace, different maids working around in uniform which she guess she will soon change into.

One of the men said and she immediately obeyed and followed him. They entered a room, an old woman in her early fifties welcome them.

The man left her and she went deeper into the room.

“Good evening ma'am ” Alysa greeted with a little bow, the time is almost 8pm at night.

“Call me Kim, am the court lady in charge of every maids here.”

She said with a smile

“I will call you Lady Kim” Alysa said.

“Anyhow, you must be hungry, sit down I will get you something to eat” Lady Kim said and left.

Alysa sat down with a loud breath out, soon Lady Kim came back with a with food in her hand. She dropped it on a small table in front of Alysa.

“Thank you so much Lady Kim” Alysa said before taking a spoon to eat.

“What’s your name??” Kim asked.

“Alysa” She replied.

“You are here to become a maid you know right??” Lady Kim asked.

“I know” She replied.

“How do you feel?”

“It would have been better if it wasn’t my own father who sold me” Alysa replied with a fake smile.

“That’s bad, your father??”

“I don’t want to talk about it, am sorry”.

“No it’s fine, I understand” Lady Kim said and Alysa smiled.

She was taken to her new room, three other maids were present in the room which look so big. Only one is awake, the other two have slept off.

“Guess you’re new here” The one awake said with a smile and she nodded nervously.

She badly want to take her bath, but she have no clothes to change with.

“I guess you want to take your bath, that’s your wardrobe over there, you will need the things inside” The maid said.

“Thank you so much” She said and got up heading toward the wardrobe, she took a towel and went into the bathroom.

After taking her bath, she put on a pajamas and slept on the bed going into her dream world.

Alysa was given her uniform the next day, it was made up of a short gown which stopped just on her kneel. She look so slim, her model stature make her look so hot.

“You said you’re 24?” Lady Kim asked and she nodded.

“You look 19, wow. That’s amazing!” Lady Kim said.

“I am so thin, I hate it” Alysa scoffed.

“No, you look beautiful this way”

“Thank you Lady Kim” she said with a smile.

“So, I told you the maid who always serve him got fired. And you will be replacing her,” Lady Kim said.

“What?!

You never said I was going to replace her! I can’t, please. You told me yourself that he’s very rude and arrogant. How can I face such human?!” Alysa shouted.

“Human?” Lady Kim asked looking confused.

“What do you mean by human, is he an animal?” Alysa said.

“He’s human of course, if you act up to his taste, then you won’t have any problem” Lady Kim assured her.

“No I don’t want to, just let me become one of the regular maids.”

“Are you kidding me? He bought you. You have no choice right now!!!” Lady Kim yelled.

Alysa became quiet as some little drop of tears made way out of her eyes.

“Am sorry, I didn’t mean to say that” Lady Kim said.

“It’s okay, he bought me. I have to do anything he want” Alysa said and sniffed in her tears.
