Honestly, I don't understand most of what I read. All I know is ID card is a compulsory requirement in camp. Ask the people that have served from your school, there's always something given to them in place of the one you drop while going for certificate. There's no exception to any school or anybody.

All this thing you all are debating on actually depends on each particular skul oo because there is no way one will ever be the only CM from one's skul in any camp whatsoever but you may not know each other or one another hence it is what ever your colleagues offered that will apply to the rest of you from same skul because if SOR is the only available evidence of result classification from one skul, then ID cards would be required from all, but if original result is the one available from another skul who usually retrieve their ID cards at the point of obtaining the original result, then it will not be tendered by all CMs from that same skul. However if your skul do spare you the ID card, then you may tender both the original result and ID together and same will apply to others from same skul and that's how everything works.


In summary, your explanation about what is obtainable in your skuls at the point of entry matters alot because if your skul had began issuing original certificate before camping and eventually majority are presenting that as evidence while you are presenting SOR, that doesn't make sense at all and they might start doubting you because you and your colleagues might not arrived same day

You'll only need iD card in camp when you have SOR.


So, you can apply for Certificate(which will cost much) or just stick with the SOR
