Even though many people say there are no jobs, yet hundreds and thousands of people are getting jobs regularly.
For me, the problem has always been lack of information about who is employing, where and when the employment is taking place.

Even though many people say that Nigerian graduates are not employable, in my opinion i believe, there are different jobs for different people with different class and remuneration.

in my view, with the right information, knowledge and guide everyone can be gainfully employed to earn a decent living, especially in town like Ota that has the largest numbers of almost all the largest brand names in Nigeria with alot of cottage firms servicing different needs.

this is the reason,, i am creating this trend Jobs in Ota to guide, and provide up to date information about the vacancies in ota and its environs.

ladies and gentlemen, we declare this trend JOBS IN OTA open.

Religion / Re: Three Reasons To Get To Church On Time by Oluwainnie(f): 9:45am On Jul 30, 2017
Point '3' highly valid!! [quote author=Sambusiness post=58966747]
3. Because it shows and sets your priorities

Regularly turning up to church late might not seem that big a deal for you. But I think if we’re really honest, it’s just a symptom of the real problem – we don’t see church as important as it should be.

What is it that makes us late for church?

Maybe we were asleep and just wanted a few more minutes in bed.

Maybe we were halfway through a DVD and wanted to finish it off.

Maybe we were hanging out with friends and didn’t want the conversations to end.

Maybe we wanted to stop off at McDonald’s on the way to church, or…

Maybe we were finishing off an assignment that we really should have done earlier.

See, when we do this regularly, we’re putting sleep and entertainment and friends and food and schoolwork before church.

And why is church so important? Because the bible says it is (and for good reasons)!

In Hebrews 10, the author urges his readers:

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:23-25 (NIV)

The same applies for us – we are to hold on to the hope we have in Jesus, and spur one another toward love and good deeds. We’re to keep on meeting together regularly at church – for that is how we encourage each other, as we look for the day when Jesus returns.

Church isn’t just a bunch of randoms meeting in a building each week. It’s not just a

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Apply For African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC) 2018 by Oluwainnie(f): 5:22pm On Jul 21, 2017
What was the omission
cloud9usher:
This year is my AU YVC year no doubt!

I applied last year, I wasn't selected but was given a feedback from them of how my application was 90% okay except the little omission which made my application not to be selected, this is one area Nigerian recruiters need to upgrade to, giving recruitment feedback. It would help candidates a lot.

Now with the feedback I got last year, my application this year is 100% on point by Gods grace.

For those who applied last year, you'd agree that the application process is a little different, but easier and if you'd find it quite of a free low kind of thing when you import last years' application insights.

AU YVC program is a very transparent process, and I commend them a lot for their professionalism over the years I have followed them.

I can't wait for August 15th 2017 for that congratulatory success mail.

Let the count down begin! 24 days to go!!! grin

Career / Re: Government Job Or Private Job: Which Should I Go For? by Oluwainnie(f): 6:48pm On Jul 19, 2017
Go for the govt, you could use its free time to engage in other productive things that would yield more income
usman3688:
Hello nairalanders. I'm a bit at a crossroad as to which job I should pick.
I have an offer in my state polytechnic to work as a lecture but I'm considering the fact that most state jobs don't pay as much and as at when due and we all know the situation in most states now regarding owing of salaries. lecturing is one job I cherish a lot as it gives u time to engage in other things that could make you productive and it also gives u job security.
The other offer I have is from a private company and this offers me an opportunity to actually practice what I studied in the university and gain more practical experience. The company pays on time with some add-on at the end of the month, I have the chance of working with expatriates which would help boost my skill and experience but the bone of contention here is that the company employs on contract basis: it could take up to two years before you are confirmed as a permanent staff which means there is no job security.
Please advice me on which to go for as I'm confused on which to pick.
Thanks and God Bless.
