Nicholas Watson’s story is an inspirational one that proves that one’s circumstances do not define their abilities.

Benue State University (BSU) has released the Post-UTME screening exercise form for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The supplementary screening test for candidates who applied for admission into:

Medical Laboratory Science programmes has been scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 18th April, 2023.

Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST) has announced the sale of its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening form for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The application period runs from Monday, February 20th, 2023, to Friday, April 24th, 2023.

The University has also extended the closing date for the application to Friday, April 24th, 2023, in a recent update.

The screening exercise is open to candidates who have scored a minimum of 160 and above in their UTME, and those with at least 7 points in IJMB/NCE in relevant courses or subject combinations respectively.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a new date for candidates who were unable to take the 2023 Mock-UTME examination earlier scheduled for March 30, 2023.

The rescheduled date for the Mock Exam is Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

According to JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr Fabian Benjamin, the mock examination was designed to test the Board’s preparedness and that of its partners for the UTME.

The mock examination was also intended to give prospective candidates the opportunity to have hands-on experience of the CBT test environment.

However, some candidates were unable to sit for the mock examination due to technical issues in some centres.

The Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) has issued a policy on the return of unclaimed copies of NYSC Exemption Certificates.

This policy affects graduates who have not yet collected their NYSC Exemption Certificates.

According to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), all Corps producing institutions are to return all unclaimed copies of exemption certificates from inception to date to the Headquarters of NYSC in Abuja.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has approved a sum of N320.3 billion as an intervention fund to be disbursed to tertiary institutions across the country.

This was disclosed by the Executive Secretary of Tertiary Education Trust Fund, Sonny Echono, during the Fund’s annual strategic planning workshop in Abuja on Wednesday, April 5.

According to Echono, the intervention fund will be disbursed to universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across the country.

Each university will receive a sum of N1,154,732,133.00, out of which N954,732,123.00 is for annual direct disbursement, and N200 million is for zonal intervention.
