Billyonaire: Jimoh has invested billions into that Airline, and decided to ground it for 12 months. His reasons are best known to him and the shareholders and not to you haterz. In business, we fail many times. I can count failing in 9 out of 10 business trials, but the success in the remaining one can catapult you into the Eldorado of Wealth. I hate to see people talking trash against someone that should be pitied for a loss. If it was easy to gain Abacha's favor and become a billionaire, why didn't you all or your parents do it. People, please think right.Jimoh collected billions from the government ostensibly to refurbish aircraft. He collected over 10 times the amount used to buy the airline in the first place. What happened to the 'money' he borrowed to finance the purchase of the airline? those loans have been paid off by AMCON (ie tax payers money) Jimoh is not an entrepreneur he is a leech, this is not capitalism - this is the worse kind of patronage and asset stripping. Other people are running successful airlines in Nigeria employing Nigerians, but Jimoh cannot. NICON, Air Nigeria, Agora Hotel Abuja, the list goes on. Jimoh belongs in the same place the Russian Oligarchs in Siberia are. |

The following 'app' is for making international and local calls from your android phone or tablet. texazzpete: As a wise man once said, "A Fool and his money are soon parted"You would surprised the number of calls we get from prospective customers asking if we have the Blackberry Empathy. When we tell them it doesn't exist, we get a number of customers arguing with us that 'they saw their colleague in the office with the phone' .It's sad to see Nigerians falling for this simple 419 scam, when genuine etailers here in Nigeria are regularly given 'bad press' with no evidence, despite our verifiable addresses, bank details, etc. Some people will prefer to deal with some unknown person in Malaysia, Hong Kong, etc |
tiwola: Looking for XBOX 360 PAL or NTSC Assassin's Creed Revelations and Battlefield 3.We have both at Omagames on PAL but brand new and sealed as as such might not be the price range you are seeking. Just got this tweet John Perry Barlow@JPBarlow We can all be grateful that the guy who invented the steering wheel wasn't working for Apple. @Tezzapete I beg no vex oh, no bi me talk am ![]() |
I am pleased to see the general level of debate on this topic by nairalanders, both the 'for' and 'against' arguments. I think Tezzapete has edged the argument, ie; Apple were right to win the case. However I have to ask if the main thrust of Samsung copying was the 'trade dress' how lazy are/were the design team at Samsung? I can understand 'stealing' someone technology because maybe you want the phone to switch on faster, or have clearer telephone calls but if you are just copying the 'looks' the least you could is change colours, or even shapes and layout of icons, or am I missing something? |
