Mujtahida: Omanbala dey beef Iwobi since In case you dont know, I play a bit of soccer. Defensive midfield to be exact. So, I know a lazy and inefficient player when I see one. Iwobi is very lazy. I am just calling it as I see it. Nothing personal |

If compared to nwakali na em be say iwobi na “Frank the tank” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You didn't see the video analysis where the Ghanaian analyst shredded Iwobi ?? You will still blame me abi. Iwobi thinks playing midfield is a joke...lmao |

Oasis007:

Unpopular Opinion; Nwakali would have done a better job than Iwobi with 3 - 4 - 3 formation. Note he is naturally a deep-lying playmaker. He is capable of scanning every corner of the pitch and so good at long range passes.
Osimhen wouldn't be that starved with Nwakali in the middle. Iwobi is the laziest midfielder we ever had...oya, Iwobi fanboys bring it on! |

TheSuperNerd: Amazing how this is one of the questions I have been racking my brains about since the round of 16.
Onyeka is currently unbenchable as far as the 343 system is concerned. He is the spine of that middle.
Interesting how a change of system can finally bring out the best in a player. Tailor made for the 343, this Onyeka.
Iwobi rather even struggled a bit vs SA but Onyeka shone and shone. Cc. TheSuperNerd Nerd nwa mama, I didn't see this post before I made mine. For me, Onyeka will start...sorry |

Mujtahida: He's not there to impress you. He's there to do proper defending and he's the best we have for now. We can agree to disagree. I will start Bruno ahead of no ball sense Zaidu. By the way , I think you are giving the credits that goes to Calvin and Zaidu to Zaidu alone. Bassey has defended that left side more efficiently than Zaidu |

comodo: At d beginning of the tourney, I mentioned this as his weakness. Reason I called for inclusion of Igoh Ogbu. Ajayi is good against teams that apply low block. That way he will have time to screen his area before making a pass. But becomes a problem against teams with high press. Either he gives a wrong pass in dangerous area or he commits a foul. It has happened at least twice or more before the SA game. Ajayi has height advantage and has the capacity to do better. I think he has struggled a bit but I will rather he stay on the starting eleven. You guys are not giving him enough credit. That boy has put in some decent shift |

My favourite players so far in this tournament.
Onyeka....my kid brother's namesake. Looks a lot like him and plays like my dear brother. Reminds me of my brother very much.
Ekong...I bow for this Nigga. A born leader and a warlord.
Aina...confident on the ball and very strong.
Calvin Bassey Ughelumba....very underrated, but one of our shinning lights in this tournament |

I said to myself who chose Omeruo to take pk, omo the guy come disappoint me oo 😂🤣😂 Did you guys forget Omerua was a talented ball playing defender in his U20 days. Omerua was tipped to be the next Onyekachi Apam. |

I have said it many times here, Iwobi has no business playing a holding midfielder/central nor attacking midfielder. He only belongs to the bench. Very weak player, low on anticipation, weak on tackles, slow in making decisions, weak shots, can't play long balls, very poor in aerial battles.
Iwobi is a liability to this squad! |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Omanambala(m): 11:47am On Feb 08, 2024 |
ChrisKels: Those of you saying we missed Zaidu yesterday I guess you guys were watching the back of your TV sets. How was he missed? Did the SA threaten through our left or were we found wanting defending from our left side? What was that that was missed about Zaidu, his crosses? Did you guys see how delicious Aina crosses were and his neat tackles inside our box? We didn’t miss him. We only missed Aina on the RWB position. SA attacked more through the middle with long balls trying to catch our centre backs flat footed. Those crying about Zaidu have motives. He was not missed. I don't see anything particularly impressive about Zaidu. Make them go rest |

Sportilitica: Always noticed Zaidu's movement but poor finishing and decision making. However he penned the left flank down making it difficult for the opposition to attack from that wing If it wasn't for Calvin Bassey, Zaidu would be roasted |

Curtisaxel17: Team "One leg of Osimhen is better than a healthy Moffi", how market?
Osimhen isn't able to press as usual, creating problems for the coach. But God forbid we allow a fully fit proven striker on the bench to play.
Even from a wheelchair, Osimhen must play. Osimhen is not his usual pressing self. He needs to be substituted. |

yinkeys: Most of the British bred guys are more technically sound compared to the Nigerian bred with the except Iheanacho and a few others The guys here usually play with heart, hardwork, raw talent etc Osimhen would improve properly if he hires a personal coach for injury & energy management & for other things like this during holidays He needs to fine tune a few things to become a lethal finisher I believe Harry Kane is still a better striker than Osimhen Victor can improve nevertheless That's why we need better academies where they will learn the rudiments of the game early because they grow older and form bad habits that can't be unlearned |
