Car Talk › Re: Diesel-powered Vehicles: Their Advantages And Disadvantages by omar22(m): 3:41pm On Jul 23, 2018 |
Advantages
They are stronger/ Durable /reliable
They give you more miles to the gallon than petrol
Disadvantage
They are slow off the line
The engine are noisy
They are not as rapid as the petrol engine
Trouble starting them in the cold weather
I stopped using petrol engine cars since 2008. On my diesel I spend as much as someone using a 1.2 petrol engine car on my 2.0 Peugeot 407 |

We were not good enough simple..
Picking Iheneacho and Ighalo showed that we lacked ambition. One was too slow and weak, the other was too thick and too slow to move and lacked finishing. Poor marking and ball watching cost us the game. Nigeria should have looked for players that have played for other countries at the U17 and U21 with Nigerian origin. |

Rubbish?
Its not the managers fault that a Nigerian defender rugby tackled another player to the ground in the penalty box. Even if the ref didnt see it theirs VAR and the own goal well thats unfortunate.
Okocha another armchair manager if he think that he has all the answers why dont he offer to manage the national team. |

Jarus: Without the hattrick, or any above average performance in WC, the UCL performance would not have been enough if:
- Argentina wins the WC and Portugal gets knocked in group stage or R16 with no standout performance by CR7
- Messi scores crucial and plenty goals in leading Argentina to win the WC.
So the UCL performance would not have been enough in such scenario. He needs performances like tonight's to augment it. If Sallah hits a hatrick against Saudi Arabia does that push him up the order? |

NaijaMutant: The Russian-born backer of the Blues has been granted citizenship of the country and has reportedly bought a property in Tel Aviv
Roman Abramovich, the multibillionaire owner of Chelsea, has formally taken up Israeli citizenship after being denied a visa to the UK.
His visa for the UK expired last month, and with more rigorous regulations put in place by the UK government following the poisoning of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, he elected not to renew it.
Consequently, Abramovich decided to leave the country and take up citizenship of Israeli, where he is eligible to live due to the Law of Return which allows followers of the Jewish faith to move to the country.
“Roman Abramovich arrived at the Israeli embassy in Moscow like any other person. He filed a request to receive an immigration permit, his documents were checked according to the Law of Return, and he was indeed found eligible,” a spokesperson told Israeli television station Channel 10.
The Chelsea owner, who was previously a resident of Jersey in the Channel Islands, will be eligible for 10 years of tax-free status in Israel, during which time he will not need to declare the source of his income.
Local reports suggest that he will take up residency in Tel Aviv, having bought a property from actress Gal Gadot.
Reportedly worth $12.5bn (£9.4bn), he has become the richest person in Israel.
http://www.goal.com/en/news/chelsea-owner-roman-abramovich-emigrates-to-israel/b6xu4b3nvrsl1tudizs8cnisg He didn't just bought a property in Israel. Roman has always been a Jewish-Russian as long as I could remember because he comes from a Jewish descendant. |

Temtee11223344: Nigeria international, Victor Moses got back to his brilliant form of last season as he helped Chelsea to a crucial 2-1 win over Burnley at the Turf Moor on Wednesday night.
Moses was restored to the starting line-up after the Blues lost their last match to Southampton and he repaid his coach's faith in him.
Moses was crucial to Chelsea's first goal of the game in the 20th minute.
Cahill played a superb long pass over the top to Moses, who brought the ball under his control on the run. He then crossed beyond Pope and against the helpless Long, who inadvertently bundled the ball into his own net.
Both teams went into the break with Chelsea at 1-0 and Moses had the chance to increase Chelsea's lead in the second half but was thwarted by a Pope save.
It looked like Chelsea would be made to pay for the missed chances as Burnley levelled the game through Barnes who got an inadvertent touch on Gudmundsson's shot and diverted it past Courtois.
Moses had the last laugh though as he put Chelsea back in the lead, finishing off an Emerson cross to the back post.

Another race ruined by a vettel brain fart
Having seen the replay of the start from Vettel’s onboard, I was not impressed with how he clipped Hamilton’s tyre. The first contact, between Vettel’s front wing and Verstappen’s tyre looked completely incidental and a regular racing incident. The second contact of Vettel’s wing with Hamilton’s tyre looked to me like it was either extremely careless or deliberate. |

Famocious: He can't thrive well in this Leicester squad with their horrible game pattern.
It will be extremely hard for him to score 10 goals this season unless they buy a creative midfielder in January. And what will you call Mahrez? How many did he score playing in front Silva, KDB, YY Toure he runs with his mouth open as if he is 40years, he is slower than Obi Mikel I guess the age lying is catching up to him? He is the same age Gabriel Jesus |

A40: Beat a 79year old Schumacher? Don't make me laugh bro. As for the crash that was part Max and mostly Kimi, Seb was in front of both of them and was trying to protect his spot while Verstappen was caught in two worlds. The safest option would have been to brake but Kimi took away that option trying to squeeze through at the same time Seb was trying to protect his spot, You can see Max clearly turning his steering to the left and then the center in quick succession to highlight the confusion he faced. As for the Ferrari being as fast as the Merc that is a crying joke! The gulf in power is bleeding obvious and we saw that at Monza. Nothing was sacrificed because to begin with nobody saw Ferrari being a factor this year Seb knew that he has had a bad start so he decided to make Max's entry into turn 1 very tight by squeezing him not knowing that Kimi was beside him this has cost him various points valuable to him, the main fact here is that he caused the turn 1 carnage. Please go a check the pre season test result and also Ferrari got the FRIC suspension banned just before the season opener which set both mercedes and RBR backwards and they said this is all about the development war. |

A40: Lmao it would be an irreparable shame for Ham should he bottle the title despite driving the faster car. You are still not realizing Ham's legacy is at stake after losing to a rubbish driver like Rosberg last year. That would make it 2 wins in 4 years with the fastest car. Vettel has zilch to lose. He was champ as recently as 2013. And the 2nd driver to do a quadruple. Feats your Alonso and Hamilton would never accomplish. That is enough satisfaction for me . Didnt this rubbish driver beat Schumacher 3 years in a row? The fact here is that this a track for Ferrari and Golden Finger threw everything away 2nd driver to do a quadruple I believe Vettel is the only Champion not to win a race as a current champion since Jacque Villenueve. The Ferrari is as fast as the Merc with similar BHP. Ferrari sacrificed straight-line speed for extreme down-force just like one of Adrian Newey's aero rocket |
