thegoodjoehunt3:
The MRI test was not an accepted testing method by Fifa in 2009. Reports said our players passed it, however, it was a selected random test, just like how drug test are carried out at the World Cup.

The result we got first was from the NFF. FIFA only tested three players in the 2009 squad.

In Iheanacho's case, it is now the official testing method and FIFA monitors and scrutinizes all the results. So there is no reason for someone to come online and start tarnishing Nacho's image especially if he has no proof what so ever for him being an age cheat.

They did on every single member of the 2009 squad!

The Nigeria Football Federation, who are to host the 2009 Under-17 event, initially claimed the tests were not reliable, but having undertaken MRI assessments on their players they have dropped 15 squad members.

In a statement on their official website, Fifa accepts that age verification in some countries is extremely difficult, but that it hopes to use the new technology to eradicate some nations benefiting from the unfair advantage of fielding over-age players.

The NFF also defended the circumstances surrounding the inclusion of two players, Deji Joel and Stanley Okoro on the Eaglets' squad, saying that the duo never failed the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) test.
On Stanley Okoro, the NFF's official said: "Stanley equally passed the MRI test on two occasions, both in Nigeria and Qatar

The only African player who scores in every world cup that he attended. In my opinion, he deserves it.

Gabby Battistuta scored in all the world cups he played didnt mean he should be up for the Ballon d' Or

I cant take a player who bottled the challenge of the EPL and run to play in the middle east serious.

He failed where the likes of Drogba, Adebayour, Kanute, Bonny etc have succeeded Even Eto in his creeky old age is pulling his weight, Gyan oh please

Your belief is not a fact. Go and do your research on the MRI scan. It is backed scientifically. It is very difficult for someone to age cheat in the U17 World Cup now. So your belief is irrelevant.

It iOS scientifically proven that the MRI scan has a 99% accuracy. So stop spreading false accusations of Iheanacho.

MRI scan proves nothing most especially if you stay away from smoking, drugs and alcohol.

Didnt Stanley Okoro and Co pass the MRI scan in 2009?

Sports / Re: Ballon D'opinion: Who Should Win The Ballon D'or?? by omar22(m): 11:36am On Dec 02, 2014
thegoodjoehunt3:
Cristiano Ronaldo has without doubt had his best ever professional year individually, and has claimed the Champions League, the Golden Shoe and the record for the highest goalscorer in an edition of the Champions League, as well as the Copa del Rey and the top-scorer award in La Liga.
In the current season, he has won the European Super Cup, scoring both goals in the match, and is achieving spectacular figures such as his 20 goals in the first 12 matchdays of La Liga, which confirm his great moment of form and ensure that, more than ever, he is deserving of the Ballon d'Or.
There is no debate. CR7 is the World Best Player for 2014.

If CR7 is measured by goals how will you measure Neuer.

The Ballon D'or is not base on who won the CL

thegoodjoehunt3:
It is impossible for Brahimi to have a better year than Yaya Toure. Brahimi scored only three goals in the whole Year. Yaya was one of the reasons Man City Won the EPL and the Capital one cup. Yaya scored amazing goals.

Note, Yaya was the only African in the FIFA 23 nominees for the Ballon d'or. So how can Brahimi have a better year.

FC Porto are not even champions of the Portuguese league. It is Benfica. That award is just vote joke. It is undeserved. Even Ahmed Musa had a better year than Brahimi.

Calm down its only its the BBC award not CAF

Most of you guys supporting Frank don't even know what Ballon D'or award is all about.
This award is mainly base on ur individual performance in a calender year, not your team performance. frank was not even the only exemptional player for bayern the particular year in question. The whole bayern team performed together and is very hard to label one player as the pivot of the team.
Compare this with the performance of the 2 best players Messi and Ronaldo in the world. This 2 give their best for their team and they will continue to rule the world till they finally meet players that can bench them in their team.

By your logic tell me how Fabio Cannavaro performed in 2006

You can make your pick. That will not make you suicidal if Ghana wins. My point is that the Bad Belle attitude Ghanaians have for Nigeria is not the same with us.

On an international scale, Ghanaians will celebrate Nigeria losing. It is not the same with majority of Nigerians.

Excuse me! its called banter or rivalry. Good luck if they win, bad luck if they dont win

Bad Belle attitude is the same bro, in the 90's I have seen a Ghanaian shoe maker beaten to an inch of his life around Ipaja just because Nigeria lost to Ghana

In my area, you will think it is Nigeria playing. Even in my house when I got home. People were ecstatic with the Ghanaian performance.

I remember myself as a young boy in 1992. During the Olympics, Barcelona 1992. On the radio, an announcement was made that Ghana had won a game. My father screamed on top of his lungs.

If you take a poll among Nigerians, you will find out most Nigerians supporting Ghana. So Ghana doing well in a tournament can never make us suicidal.

Look your talking on a global stage (thats at the world cup or Olympics) I will support every African team but at the nations cup, all gloves are off.... I wont Support Ghana, Egypt, Cameroun or S Africa at the continental level not even for all the gold in the world

Victor Moses has joined the long list of people reacting to the shock miss of the Super Eagles from the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Equatorial Guinea.

The set-to-be dethroned African champions needed just a home win in their final game of the qualifiers to seal their place at next year’s tournament but unfortunately the Eagles could only struggle to a face saving 2-2 draw which saw them finish third in their qualifying group.

“Gutted for the lads but we will bounce back stronger as a nation. Keep believing”. The in-form Stoke City of England star wrote on his twitter account.

Many had raised eyebrows on why Moses in the first place was not considered for the double-header against Congo and South Africa.

However, according to Coach Stephen Keshi he had an understanding with the on-loan Chelsea star who was only returning from injury when the 25-man Eagles list was drawn.

Nigeria’s miss will now be a gain for Stoke City who have been benefitting from the impressive display of Moses since arriving from Stanford Bridge on a season-long loan

Everyone shouted and sweared and cursed but the reality here is that the new stadium requires getting used to before you could make it a fortress
