TheGoodJoe: I do not know what is the rubbish you are talking about. Everyone knew Mikel was going to Manchester United. Peter Kenyon alerting Chelsea of a loop hole does not change the fact that Chelsea did not need Mikel. Mikel was a creative attacking midfielder and Chelsea had surplus players to play that role.
So what are you talking? Mourinho did not buy Mikel to come and become his top 10. Ferguson wanted him. That is why Mikel ended up as a defensive midfielder because there was never any plan to play him creatively.
What do you mean by Shittu did not like the arrangement. That is ridiculous. Shittu only cared about his pocket and not Mikel's career Mikel was bought to play as a deep lying play maker, whether he played as a striker from age 10 is irrelevant, he was young and easy to be moulded into that position Carlo Ancelotti moulded Andreas Pirlo from a supporting striker to a deep lying play maker. Yuri Nikirov who was the top goal scorer at the 1987 U17 world cup was turned into a sweeper and a very good one |

TheGoodJoe: Save your energy. Mourinho never liked Mikel. He bought Mikel to stop Manchester United from getting a top player and keep Chelsea on top. Just like he did with Pedro. With Ballack and Lampard, Mikel would never be a World great midfielder. Mourinho had no plans for Mikel.
In that game, I knew Mourinho would Remove Mikel and the game would crumble. Mourinho did as I expected.
I Don't see Mourinho giving Mikel a chance Mourinho is out to prove Matic is better. Meanwhile, players are having fun dribbling Matic. What a load of Rubbish Mikel was sold to United by Lynn but the Norwegian club will still have him for another 4years, Mikel and agent Shittu wasnt happy about the arrangement and also realised that Mikel doesnt have a professional contract, Peter Kenyon the former Manchester United CE moved across to Chelsea and alerted the recruitment department that we could get a promising young player that's on United's books that could replace Claude Makalele. |

They are different players
D Silva is a playmaker who controls the game at his own speed, E Hazard is support striker, a ball carrier who dribbles and commits defenders... Its like comparing Neymar to Xavi. Xavi knows where everyone is on the field where as Neymar wants to do damages to his opponents defence with a direct attack |

1. Culturally not appropriate 2. Biblically it is 'he who finds a wife' not 'she who finds a husband' 3. It is a risk! The man may reject her proposal or actually exploit her and dump her. When married and there is a quarrel, he may make reference to the fact, 'afterall you begged me to marry you'
Ladies, relax! If you seriously love a guy, and you believe in God, tell Him (God) about it. Ask Him (God) to direct the guy to you, to make him love you and propose, AS LONG AS HE IS GOD'S WILL for YOU! I believe Ruth in the Bible went for her man |

If you want to fight them racists....make sure your hands are clean well well. Tell me you are Joking! do you know how USA got the 94 world cup? Every bidding country bribed a FIFA executive member, England offered LV bags to the 24 executive members wives LV bags (which seems laughable) when you compare £1m another bidding nation offered. Germany stepped down and allow England to host Euro 96 and promised to return the favour but when the opportunity to host the 2006 WC came up England stabbed Germany in the Back. Am sorry but Blatter was fine until he decided to rotate the WC to each continent before under Joao Havalenge Europe hosted a WC every 8 years but now its different. |

bushdoc9919: Qatar is quite rich enough to host the world cup.
South Africa hosted the cup...because they had the money.Impact remains to be seen.
Plus.....platini and co.....have not been indicted yet. Clinton might be. Still early days yet....and remember...the whole thing started because some FIFA officials laundered money via US banks. Big mistake. If Platinit and co did that...they will be in the FBI's net soon too.
Anti-imperalisim does not excuse corrupt behaviour. Or do you want FIFA to collapse financially because people are allowed to steal cash unchecked.? The 2010 World cup was between South Africa and Morocco, because it was an African world cup. Morocco have been bidding for previous world cup since the 1998, Honestly I felt Africa Morocco deserved it more than SA, but apart from FIFA members the global industries that benefits from tournaments pushed for SA, Morocco is seen more as an Middle East country than an African country. |

sultan003: is qatar not about to host the world cup? south africa hosted it, are they in debt?
even those carryin out this investigation are corrupt and biased, if not they should be arresting clinton, beckenbaur, platini and his son. The Olympic is way more expensive to host than the world cup, the Beijing Olympic cost around £23bn Whereas the 2006 World Cup only costs £940m to build 5 new stadiums and to renovate the other 4 stadiums. Hotels are 3rd party responsibilities The Olympic is a different ball game the Olympic village cost alot we are talking about billions, London 2012 lied during the bidding process by saying that it will only cost £2.4bn, this was the main reason why they defeated the Paris Bid. After winning the Bid they had a proper assessment of the cost which came out at £9.3bn, then they stopped revealing the cost just to prevent a public outrage. |

bushdoc9919: The Americans did not bid for 2022....and Qatar is their very very good ally.
The FBI got involved because some CONCNCAF officials started laundering their ill-gotten kudi through American banks and companies. Big mistake...especially in this post 9-11 world. Before the Americans did not care about what FIFA DOES.
Russia is still going to host 2018. It is too late to change the hosting rights.
Modified....The corruption was so bad that one CONCACAF official...Chuck Blazer....used his kudi to rent two flats....one of them for his dogs....in Trump Towers,New York. Krasid: How about Neymar? How quickly did he settle last season. Was Ronaldo given credit on how quickly Bale settled in Madrid last season? Gareth bale is being demonized not because he is being 'single-minded' but because he is being selfish and unlike Ronaldo, Bale's selfishness is not yielding any fruit(goals). His selfishness almost cost madrid the UCL last season as he had about 3 chances which he should have passed to an unmarked player or scored but chose to waste. He was repeating the same this season and it cost Madrid league points. Bale settled into the team because of Modric not Ronaldo, last season Bale's best games were when Ronaldo wasnt playing and the CL final Ronaldo went missing, where as Bale score the decisive goal. CR7 is desperate to join Platini and Messi those who have won the Ballon D'or 3 times in a row, Naymar struggled to settle due to feeling home sick and moving from one continent to another |

Was it last season Messi got Argentina to the world cup final? CR7 couldn't get Portugal out of a group that had both Ghana and USA in it. At Madrid even at United the whole team work for Ronaldo and G Bale is been demonized because he is trying to be single minded. Messi is a team player see how quickly Suarez settled in them. |

Marcelinho: The big Nigerian’s quality has always been in great doubt owing to his inability to command regular first team action with the Blues, how about his unassailable trophy haul? On Sunday evening, John Obi Mikel picked up his ninth professional title in England as Chelsea lifted the Premier League trophy at Stamford Bridge. No other player in Nigeria’s football history has generated so much attention in the international market than Mikel. In fact, considering him as the most successful Nigerian footballer of this era will never be moot. At a time when many had predicted his time was up in west London, Hope – as his igbo name ‘Nchekwube’ implies, waxed stronger and kept adding laurels to his trophy cabinet. Truth be told, Nigeria has produced many brilliant players over the years; the likes of Kanu Nwankwo, Sunday Oliseh, Jay-Jay Okocha, Daniel Amokachi and Finidi George. But perhaps none of these icons have consistently the success that Mikel has whilst featuring in Chelsea’s route to major honours. In nine seasons with the Blues, Mikel has enjoyed unparalleled success boasting of nine domestic silverwares plus two on the big European stage. In a season or two, chances are that he would eclipse Kanu’s record of 13 (in club football), yet his disparagers feel that his inability to tie down regular first team action with the Pensioners means that he should not be seen as one of Africa's greatest exports to Europe. Permit me to ask here that if ‘the Catalyst’ is as bad as many suggest, why has he always won the hearts of managers who have been employed and thrown out of Stamford Bridge? Why has he not been shipped out to other teams like others considered as surplus to requirement in the Roman Army? Attesting to Obi’s eminence, former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju told Goal that it would be unfair and sheer a caustic exercise to tag him as a swashbuckler who picks up medals from the bench. An overall record of one goal in 20 games for Jose Mourinho’s men in an injury-plagued season may not be great, but it is quite commendable, and a tally of just two cautions is appalling for a man of his purported brilliance in terms of defensive ability. But assertions made on purely a statistical basis are often unwise, instead it’s his performance in such games of importance which continue to fuel the notion that he’s nothing more than a bully who fails to deliver when pressure and expectation is at its maximum. There is no doubt that Mikel has often been the man for the big occasion – his goal against Sporting Lisbon is a perfect example. His strike increased his side’s lead as they went ahead to win 3-1 – and also ensured he was named man of the match. Benched by Mourinho in late 2014, injured on his return and then Nemanja Matic in the pecking order at the Bridge, even now Mikel is still recovering his friable confidence. The naysayers would always forget that aside his defensive ability, he has been a fantastic asset when it comes to ball passing. His successful pass rate of 90.4 % in all competitions [ 87.5% in the Champions League and 90.7% on the domestic scene] is worthy of praise, especially when you compare with Mourinho’s preferred option Matic’s 87.1%. Let’s make no mistake about it, Mikel is a living legend of the game and his never say die attitude must be commended. Any way it is looked at, his achievement is prodigious – and remarkably it is getting better. To suggest he is overprized is impertinent, naïve and simply laughable. Viva, Africa’s unsung hero According stats for 2014/15 season in the EPL Mikel is not in the top 20 Pass completion (Cesc then Yaya Toure) Touches (Cesc) Chances created (Hazard then Cesc) Tackles (Matic) Shooting (Coutinho) distance covered (Burley player) |
