kingbang: Good. Can you remember this statement? "If you want more unemployment and more job losses, then keep on striking. Don't blame me." ? (lashing out on strikers)That was directed at the Unions but in the she closed the the coal and mining industry and she was forced out of office, theirs a reason why they referred her to the Person with the eyes of CALIGULA |
Well if it looks like a hippo walks like a hippo talks like a hippo its probably a SHEPOPOTAMUS |
anago12: my mama won't block the road for a session in the salon. and she is not trying to challenge my dad colleagues at his work place even when she is a mere appendage in that setting. for your insult I will let it pass.Said it all |
WildChild00: Kindly, do so google search man, and moreover Mrs Abacha was not frequently seen in public, due to her religious believe, but this is not to say she was never @ the public domain.Look read between the lines when I say she wasnt in the limelight it doesnt mean she was completely away from the everyone or the public, is like asking how many times did you see Shagari's wife? |
WildChild00: You asked how many times Mrs. Maryam Abacha was seen in public, the simple answer is who founded the National Hospital Abuja? And how was it commissioned? Secondly, how was the national hospital for women and children commissioned? And where was Mr. Wole Soyinka during the military dictatorship of General Sanni Abacha? Perhaps hiding in one of the western countries.I would say it again the few times you hear about Mrs Abacha its about something positive compared to the character from Madagascar 4 who comes out and blow hot-air |
Can someone tell me how she got "Dame" |
anago12: to those suffering from the hippotami virus and the shepoptamus syndrome keep bashing a man you can't equal even if you reincarnate ten times. we won't stop bashing the presidency cause he and his hang-ons and sidekicks open the insulting spree, firstly our elders were rascals later we were called children of anger and other names. so when we hurl ret.ardeen, hippotami, shepopotamus and manatees and other adjectives at them the world should know they started the war and as yorubas we can never defeated in the mouth war. awa ni omo ti ko ki lo ile lo gba esi. to all you manatees and mami wati we are ready to intellectually place you all in the path of reasoning. and least I forget madam shepopotati should learn to be a lady before becoming a first lady.

gidson12: this is the kind of rubbish show of shame chinua achebe would never soil himself with, he leads by action, when he was not in support of the government, he rejected the state recognition and award.....I cant remember the late Chinua Achebe been in a position of Authority or power for him to express his leadership qualities? |
WildChild00: But, be that as it may be, it is still on record till dat, that you people ran out of the country on exile, speaking frm an unknown country, even with an un-licensed radio station, lemme ask you, one more time, during Military regime of the late Abacha can Mr. wole Soyinka use such language as an advise to Mrs Abacha? The simple answer is absolutely no no no, or Mustapha and co will just arrange him.How many times did you see Mrs Abacha in the news or in public? Yes we did see the late Miriam Babangida but she acted more gracefully and was honoured as one of the most influencial person in Africa. Compared to the one who should audition for the next series of the cartoon movie called Madagascar. Abeg joor someone should put the hippo in a "hot air balloon" and send it towards the Island of Dr Maureaux! She would provide the hot air! |
This weeks Quote: “People said I call her a domestic appendage, what’s the problem with that? What’s the problem with Madam Shepopotamus? (Dame Patient Goodluck)” - Wole Shoyinka |
ngozievergreen: To A woman that sacrificed her crown and pageantry dream for him.You mean the crown Ben Bruce helped rigged? please give us a break |
pheyikemi:Nuff said!!! |
Olaolufred:All What? |
Orikinla: Kongi don come again.Well if it looks like a hippo walks like a hippo talks like a hippo its probably a SHEPOPOTAMUS |
Goddex: Prof is asking PEJ to copy from michelle Obama and I stand bold to say Prof is not in tune with American politics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Re3bXwvcxIg |
awodman: Seems Soyinka now has a penchant for uncouth languages...even if you want to correct someone and in doing that you lace insults on the person naturally the person will become infuriated and would never listen to whatever you have to say...Tell me whats common sense in the first lady closing a public road because she wants to attend her hair-dresser? who need enemies when we have people like you lot! Cherrie Blair (Tony Blair's wife) former UK Prime Minister's wife took a public train from London to Luton even forgot to buy a train ticket and was about to face criminal charges, but the punch line here is that she gets on the public transport. |
Olympus has fallen to me is the movie of the year so far... How I wish they gave the leading role to Bruce Willis I could see the comparison but Jamie Fox acting the role of a US President was a joke, interviewing for the security job in the white house is another joke. But in reality a plan by the North Korean activists flew all the way to white house without been challenged is a no no, they would have blown it out of the sky before it reaches anywhere near the white house |
Krasid: D'banj has not done anything reasonable since he left Don jazzy.Slowly his career is going down.It takes little to spark the Don Jazzy's @ss-kissing fan boys into life!!! |
I smell a serious lawsuit coming someone is going to fork out millions |
Miss Berry is 45 and still look hot |
Yeah another member of Don Jazzy's kiss-@ss fan club here to cry a river over why Dbanj left there home town hero |
3.7 seconds over a 30-metre runIn a 100m race which is split into 2 parts the drive and cruise. Anyone could drive out of the box with power over the first 30, 40, 50 meters but the cruise stage requires strenght and stamina... |
MRbrownJAY: and i never doubted that Lewis finished second, it is when people are saying that Lewis "outperformed" him that i have a beef. if you obviously drive better, win more races and have a great deal of points MORE than another driver, then you can say that one outperformed the other........but in this case, it went down the line, and technicality had to separate them. that would be as silly as saying that Vettel outperformed Alonso last yr, when we all know that it was a race to the last corner where each could have been champion. now if we look at 2011, where vettel won 11 races that yr, THEN we can talk of clearly outperforming Alonso or anyone else in the field.Outperform sounds like an overhyped statement, you know the British press, but people are looking at it from an angle of the double champion vs the rookie, most people didnt expect them both to be on the same page let alone both be on the same podium, but those who have followed Lewis from his Go-Kart day and through the Formula 2 and 3 were not surprised by his pace, but those who are trying to catch the attention or be controversal in their statement would use the word outperform. If I really want to get to Fernando fanboys, then Lewis's rookie year would be the perfect line to use but you and I know that it went down to the wire. Vettel fans boys always choose how he won in a Torro Rosso, my argument would be he won in the rain, in the rain anything could happen, Bottas nearly got pole in the rain in Canada, Hulkenburg got pole in the Williams in Brazil, Olivier Panis won in the rain at Monaco, Jenson Button's first win came in the rain all am saying is that in the rain anything could happen it brings the cars closer together i think Schumacher's first win came in the rain |
I would like to see the transcript or audio or video as evidence that she did say such thing all these hear say sounds like hot air |
johnjoel:SCARY MAN!!!! IS TODAY HALLOWEEN ? ![]() Was this before Attiku's money started rolling in ![]()

MRbrownJAY: as for the Hamster vs Alonso, again you are not looking at the right data (only the ones that fits your biased agenda)..... F1 is about consistency on the track, nothing else, so let me correct you ONCE AGAIN:Look you and I know that if Kimi's record dramatically disappear or was disqualified the Championchip would go to Lewis on count-back because they are going to look at the amount of wins, the amount of 2nd and 3rd place. Remember that in Brazil 6th place would put him Level with Massa but on count back Massa wins the title thats why he had to secure 5th place, yes they both levelled on 109 points but on count back Lewis finished ahead of Fernando. Lewis had 5 2nd places to Alonso's 4 thats what tipped it towards Lewis |
obailala: When our dracula politicians read comments like yours, all they do is smile and pop some more champagne cos they know the people they rule are idiots.Yes most infrastructures like road and bridges been built in the western world has a toll on it but I dont agree with N500 which is too high, yes this levy goes towards the maintenance of the bridge its not like they collect road tax in Nigeria |
MRbrownJAY: ^^ Bennetton in the mid 90s was a fantastic team but they slowly became bottom feeders by the end of the 90s. when Renault bought the team, they were NO WHERE close to the schumi/Herbert yrs....Your right in 2003 Renault wasnt a strong team Didnt Giancarlo Fisichella win that year in a Jordan? |
MRbrownJAY: ^^ i am very sorry to say that Webber is just a "common" driver in a fast car, any of the second rated drivers you mentioned above could do what he does. hell , i would even say that:"put a Kobayashi in that RBR and you will see miracles!"Are you talking about the same Renault (old Benatton F1) Schumacher won the 2 titles in? he even won a title in a car that had a Ford Coswort V8 engine when the rest of the field had a V10 engine, the Renault Alonso drove was one of the fastests cars in 05 Ferrari won one race due to lack of pace and new tyre regulations which favours cars using Michelin tyres and not bridgestone tyres this was why Kimi, Alonso and Montoya racked up all the victories, but reliability issues hampered the McLaren boys. 06 car was an illegal car from Renualt and they tiptoed across the line that season... Yes Renault does not have the same financial power as McLaren or Ferrari but they have always had an extremly fast cars when they get it right. |
MRbrownJAY: as for anyone (aka Omar22 or A40) who thinks the Ferrari is competitive TODAY (let us forget about 9 races ago), then ask yourself this very simple question:"shouldnt it be Alonso fighting to overtake Vettel, instead of the Lotus (if that Ferrari car was competitive)?" are you two (other Vettel/Ham cheerleaders can respond) the only ones that cannot see that the Ferrari car had absolutely NO PACE? the only time we saw a glimpse of some SPEED and competitive lap time was at the end for a few laps, when Alonso changed tyres. What your failing to realise is that the Nürburgring GP is not a track that Ferrari has enjoyed any form of success, Hockenheimring yes because of the characteristic of the circuit and from what I heard it has been reported elsewhere, that filipe is testing parts for ferdis car. notice how they often use differing bodywork etc the spins are peculiar, they all happen on rh corners but the car goes left. at Silverstone, the hydraulics failed, jamming the car in fifth. in Monaco, Ferrari first of all blamed filipe, but then recanted and admitted it was suspension failure, so maybe they are testing interconnected suspension on flips car? We know you are a Ferdi fanboy but bear in mind different courses for different horses, The next race is all about who stick its car on the front row because the Hungaroring is Monaco without barriers, not a fast track and if your find yourself behind a slow car your doomed. Last season McLaren's brain fart handed the title to Vettel due to unreliability issues when Lewis had to retire from the front 3 times then the pit stop issues in australia, Bahrain, Monaco, Malaysia, Valencia etc in 2010 Ferrari handed the title to Vettel when they got suckered by RBR calling in Webber and Ferrari reacted to the move which got Ferdi suck behind Petrov for more than 30 lap. The 2011 car was the car that had the flexi front wing, double blowing diffuser and engine mapping which had an extremely high downforce suited to Vettel's driving style |
