This happened in the so called most advanced democracy on the world, executed by no one else but Trump's police. And some proudly ignorant enemies of state in this country would be threatening to report the government to the same US.

Those who have sworn to die for the potato in the oval office would look the other way as usual, but would bare their fangs should anything remotely similar to this happen here. A recent case in point, VDM's arrest.

If we want real growth, we got to have a plan to get our economy and government revenue more dependent on manufactured goods and services, as well as having more income from taxes, especially income tax.

I remember when people were shouting about growth under GEJ, and people then were still japa. Same thing in many past governments.

These things don't happen overnight. Those who we look up to as models for what you've written here took hundreds of years, from the pre-industrial era to the age of the computers, to get to where they are today. But thankfully, we don't have to take that long because the groundwork (science and engineering) has already been done for us. All we need now is adopt and domesticate.

Hopefully, we'll get all the right leaders we need, from local government chairmen to presidents, to get to that epoch.

Nigeria appears to have found it's way back on the right track, having undergone the painful surgery she needed but has been scared of undergoing for decades. I dearly pray we've seen the worst.

I don't even understand where all this is coming from. How is poaching opposition governors a drive for a one party state? Matter of fact, those who oppose the government the most insist those governors have but only ONE VOTE and their departure is being celebrated as "weeding the bad eggs".

How then do these same people complain we're heading to a one party state? Well, as long as freedom of association is still a part and parcel of our constitution, the president and indeed the APC, have done nothing wrong.

It's now obvious this statistics has no sense. Price of foreign rice has drastically dropped within the past few weeks. Currently sold at 58-60,000 in Ogun State. The rate was even a slight increase which is attributed to Sallah celebration.

Price of locally produced rice is currently fluctuating between 50k and 58k in Benue state.

The federal road from ikachi - ameka to Cross rivers is under construction due to Ogewu intervention, the work is moving really fast , it's just that I don't have enough pictures of that road to upload at the moment, but I will do that later.

As for Abba Moro, it's either he constructs the otukpo -obi-Oju road or forget the vote of igede people in the next election, it was the vote of our people that made him senator the last time because majority of his people voted for another candidate


I think David Ogewu is trying his best, I'm not a politician, infact I hate politicians but this man has initiated several bills in the house for the creation of university and federal medical center in Oju and Obi

The Ameka Cross River road construction has stalled for months, and probably abandoned. Residents have been left to their fate as the dust has made life nearly unbearable. Then he stands over a 6 or 5 meter long culver to take pictures. It's pathetic. he better makes peace with Adirahu and the people of Uwokwu, and do some tangible works. Taking pictures with people in Ihejwo and playing football with the youths are no achievements. So far, the only difference i see between himself and Okwu is their command of English.

Ogewu needs to wake up.

You had to add the Ikachi road culvert facing Ihiejwo. My heart bleeds for my people, totally neglected and under represented at the state and Federal level. The Oju Otukpo road has been visited by surveyors ten million times, courtesy Ogewu and Aba Moro, yet, to this day, absolutely nothing tangible has been done. Once the people's grumbling about the state of the road gets loud enough, those men mobilize the so called surveyors for a photo-op, and then it's business as usual afterwards.

So pathetic.
