Leave them. I'm even hoping they be taken to court to prove all the allegations they made against the General including alleging that he sponsors terrorists. AIT totally crossed the line in their conduct, and when they were at it, these children of anger and hatred were busy applauding them. Now that their actions have started yielding fruits after its kind, they are screaming "press freedom".

The Gentleman doesn't want them covering his activities, period. They can follow Jonathan to his country home to cover his daily activities if they feel so bored.

If AIT was so professional, why were they sanctioned by NBC?? Why didn't you scream NBC was trying to stifle press freedom??

Somehow I feel Jonathan was truly oblivious of most of these gargantuan thefts. He was just a jolly fellow who preferred not to bother himself much with all that was going on under his nose as far as they don't make him sneeze.

I wish the station goes under for good. Only problem is the job losses that would accompany that.

Well, if you ask me, based on what is on ground, with threats of jobs losses and huge fall in the value of our currency with the attendant rise in the cost of doing business especially as regards imports, I don't see how her handling is worth any commendation. Besides that, if she must be commended, I think it should be viewed from the backdrop of her stewardship from day one; abysmal if one must be honest.

Afternoon guys.

I had to create a thread for this because it appears actions are hardly taken by you guys when one uses the "mail mods" feature.

I'm doing this not for my own sake but for others who have slightly limited means of purchasing data, especially given how expensive they could cost those using Android, Windows and iOS devices. I use a BB device to surf the web so I've got no problems with cost downloading stuffs or viewing pages on this forum or elsewhere, but the above listed users might not feel the same way.

There are some posters here that have cultivated the despicable habit of advertising their wares on threads even though there are proper channels through which they could advertise those products. When they upload those pictures that have absolutely no correlation whatsoever with the topics under discussion, they inadvertently increase the "weight" of those pages making them cost more to view and take longer time to load. These guys spam every single thread in the most popular sections of the Forum with those images while contributing absolutely nothing to discussions, and that in itself is very annoying.

It is high time the mods started clamping down on such posts and posters. If anyone wants to advertise they should follow the appropriate channels and stop making a mess of every thread they walk into. Typical example is what they did on this thread: www.nairaland.com/2280052/ambassadors-world-leaders-rush-meet. angry

And for those who might possibly be affected by this, don't take it personal, I'm not against your prosperity. This is a public space and some decorum need to be observed. As a matter of fact, your acts run afoul of a couple of Rules here.

If you want to advertise, pay for it. Nairaland is a business enterprise and not a charitable establishment. Seun needs money, just as you do, to keep this all important site running.
