The SouthSouth and SouthEast ideally should be the first regions where election results come from because of relatively lower populations? Right now, we do not even what the result of President Jonathan's polling unit is.

What is happening?

They have yet to finish cooking up the figures. I've lost interest in whatever comes from the zones, especially the SE. As for me, they've taken to the wrong side of history and might pay dearly for it. It would be much worse if they try to overinflate the figures in a deliberate attempt to counterbalance what is coming in from the North and SW.

Come what may, the Nigerian electorates have used this election to make a very strong statement to the politicians: take them for granted at your own peril.
