This is what this prestigious organisation has been turned into under Jonathan. Obasanjo was no saint neither was Yar'Adua, but they never tried to politicise sensitive institutions like the Army, Police or DSS. Jonathan on the other hand had basterdised these institutions and turned them into a recluse of what they used to be!
Now they have sank so deep in the mess the only thing they can do now is continue sinking. They know what awaits them should Buhari take over with all the atrocities they've committed, hence their desperation to rubbish the opposition and by extension GMB.
But Nigerians aren't buying any of it. With every single "discovery" they make and the press statements they release, they reveal nothing else but an organisation run by men with no regard whatsoever for virtue and honour.
Ogah will definitely get the 'dingiest' cell room in kirikiri when that time comes. |

christejames: but that 79yrs old is not jostling to rule a complex country like Nigeria. He (Ali) knows that at his age he is suppose to be a statesman (which he is), or be sharing his piece of advice and wisdom to his grandchildren and those who need them. Politics › Buhari A Septuagenarian With ‘fossilised Ideas’ — Ahmadu Ali by omenka(op): 3:09pm On Jan 07, 2015 |
The Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential Campaign Organisation, Ahmadu Ali, has described the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari, “as a septuagenarian with fossilised ideas of how to run a government and social engineering.”
He spoke at the inauguration of the party’s Presidential Campaign Council, in Abuja on Tuesday.
Mr. Ali, a former national chairman of the PDP, spoke about two weeks after the incumbent National Secretary of the party, Wale Oladipo, described Mr. Buhari as “semi-illiterate jackboot.”
At the launch of a book on President Goodluck Jonathan’s achievement in Abuja last month, the former PDP national chairman had also likened the APC presidential candidate to “an old plane that has been parked for long” whose functionality cannot be guaranteed.
Mr. Ali, who will turn 79 on March 1, is a retired army colonel, though trained as a physician. Mr. Buhari was 72 last December 17. As a Major General, he ruled Nigeria between 1983 and 1985.
At Tuesday’s event, the former PDP chairman argued that at a time nations were shopping for younger elements to rule them, the APC was ironically throwing up a septuagenarian as its presidential flag bearer.
“In this 21st century where great nations of this world are fielding young men and women in their forties and fifties as presidents and prime ministers, it is ironic that Nigeria’s APC is fielding a septuagenarian with fossilised ideas of how to run a government and social engineering.
Nigeria deserves a better leadership than their candidate who has no certificates to tender as requirement for entering an election,” Mr. Ali said.
Stating that the PDP was the defending champion in the impending presidential contest, the presidential campaign director said the party would do so with the belt tightly around its waist.
He stated that the party was proud of Mr. Jonathan because he was a dynamic and vibrant and ready to move the nation forward and therefore proud of him.
He said the party would not be as desperate as the opposition, “which is already in a fix on how to face President Jonathan’s enviable records in good governance.”
He said the ruling party could not be intimidated by the opposition, since Nigeria would transform from “Goodluck and Goodluck” while it (opposition) would hold on to “bad luck.”

barcanista: Omenka, these TANists have taken over our patritic work of promoting the people's general. The OP should be thanked! Thank God Buhari went to the Governor to protest and demanded justice rather that take laws into his hands. Kudos to the General Let them continue with the needless attacks that do nothing but enhance the image of the General. I have yet to see any "convert" owing to their gospel. We try to nudge them in the right direction, urging them to rather dwell on the positive things they think Jonathan has done because that is how you market a product, but they wouldn't!! They'd rather spend all their time trying to destroy an already sold-out product!! Just look at it; would Coka Cola bombard the gen pop with adverts about everything bad about pepsi to sell their products or would they tell is what satisfaction you stand to get by consuming coka cola?? Let them keep it coming, by the time it sinks in they've been running the wrong kind of campaign and need to change tactics, I know it would already be too late! |

Sealeddeal: i thought you will have some corrections to give to the OP but it seems you are as emotional as the OP. Not exactly. Hardly emotional about stuffs like this. I just simply find them too boring and totally needless. One thing you must know is you don't try too hard to instill an idea into the minds of a people. If they are to go along with your opinion, they would do so without you expending too much energy trying to achieve that. That said, Jonathanians would believe such an agenda exists and is spear-headed by Buhari, and would hold on to that belief because it helps their political course. They would hold onto it even if Buhari descended from the heavens like Jesus!! So, what's the point |
